((Your predictions of dice roll karma were correct, it seems. XD Still, I have one more strategy idea in mind before I completely give up on my liepard being able to defeat a golbat. 0 supereffective moves vs. Haze + supereffective health-gaining attack = no bueno for me. I may have to switch pokemon to make it a fair fight. rofl ))
Zebo somehow managed to dodge the leech life yet again. He landed lightly on his feet.

Merope did likewise. She was tiring quickly, if her earlier misses had not been proof enough, and sought to regain energy with another Leech Life.

Zebo saw the attack coming, luckily, and managed to dodge it as well. He summoned his strength and slashed at Merope again.

Merope was thrown to the wall, but not roughly. She clung to the cracks, taking brief respite from flying while using Leech Life.

With a sigh, Zebo once again slumped over.
Zinnia nodded to the other trainer as she returned Zebo to his pokeball. That certainly was a strong golbat!

Merope watched Zebo return to his ball before going over to her own trainer. She flopped in the crook of Genesis' neck to doze.
