((I gave up on any strategies that required 50% chances early on haha. Q_Q I was literally one hit away from killing Blue with an attack that never misses, but she confused me and I could not get even one hit down before she killed me. I had over half my HP before I was confused, too, LAUGHS AND CRIES AS I RELIVE THAT DAY.))
Merope struggled in the grip of his fangs, flailing her wings as she tried to escape. She bit him back, absorbing his energy as she did so.

((OMG. XD yeah. Down with status effects. Also, turns out I got liepards mixed up with crobats, they can't learn bite. Pretend it was always Pursuit. XD))
Zebo chased after Merope, although he was very tired by then. Still, he refused to give up.

And 400HP I think? Basically if it looks like Merope can make an even kill, number is probably off haha. She must suffer because I'm too lazy to do +50 Att rn. Edit: Wait I checked and I don't think she even has a move that can raise att / lower def lmfao. Golbats why.))
Merope freed herself, but not for long. Zebo struck her with another Pursuit, and she replied in kind.

For such a simple swipe, the blow sure was rough! Merope skidded on the floor before rolling to stop. Battered and bruised, she sent another wave of Leech Life.

The blow was not enough to stop Merope's flight, and she scooted out of the way to recover. While she was it, she shot down Leech Life.

Zebo fell to the floor once again in defeat. Zinnia hastily returned him to his pokeball. "Nice one!" she called across to her opponent before scurrying out to heal her liepard.

Merope returned to her trainer as well. All she wanted now was a rest and a meal. She began chewing on her trainer's hair.
