Castor's Lament listened carefully to Puramu's account of the walker's actions. He felt that it was odd that the creature had ventured so far out of its normal range. Skeptically he wondered if someone else had run interference and told the beast where to find him. It would just be something that Midnight's Whisper would do. Shaking his head for the moment Castor watched Puramu and, more importantly, the wound on her neck. He was concerned about the cut's size. "Will you be alright to continue with that wound?"
His own wounds forgotten at the moment Castor leaned in closer to the mare. "Thank you for your comment on my name. I am pleased you like it."

In Feral form and well rested for now as she is sniffing the ground getting the scent locked into her mind of the stallion. For now she will focus on him and will deal with that darn mare later. So she starts to follow the scent and is on the trial of the two as she takes her time believing that the two will soon stop and rest. That would give her the time needed to catch up with them and attack again. Putting her Lantern back onto her backside as she starts looking at her wound the best she can. "I should be fine. Thank you for your worry. It should be ok and heal in time." She points out as she looks about the area. The wound was deep and she was a bit worried about it but finding a healer to help her out could wait. Who knows if Kiyo is back on their heels. So she allows her eyes to scan the area's every detail as she looks about. "Well your name is very likable. My name means Plum Rose.. My mother had something about fruits. All of her kids are named after fruits. Like my sister's name is Cheri-Bara which is Cherry Rose. So fruits and flowers." She giggles about it after all it was funny to her that most of her family that she knew of had names of fruits and or flowers.

Castor listened very carefully to Puramu's words. He was just slightly unsettled by the fact that this was not the real territory of the skinwalker. It was strange and his ears pricked forward a little more when the talk turned to the strange mare that Puramu had seen. In his mind he could only wonder but was it just possible that Midnight's Whisper had something to do with this after all? The stallion was sure that his sister knew that he liked to spend time at the altar of the wishing star and it would be right up her alley to get someone else to do her dirty work. In this case he was fairly certain that if he asked that Puramu might answer in the affirmative.
Sighing softly Castor attempted to work some kinks out of his muscles. He had taken a licking it was true but he was not done yet. If anything he would have loved to see Puramu get the wound she sustained looked after first. He felt a little like a weakling because had she not intervened the battle may not have swung in his corner at all. Castor looked at Puramu with a question on the tip of his tongue. It was information that he sorely needed to have an answer to. His voice echoed around him. "This strange mare that you saw Puramu, could you describe her?"
Castor stood still. He dreaded hearing what Puramu would answer him with but the need to know was growing inside. He would have to be looking over his shoulders from now on if what Puramu said was true. It was a daunting task to constantly be on one's guard. Knowing that there was a walker looking to specifically kill you was alarming. The fear did not show on his face but inwardly Castor had to wonder just when he might be targeted next. There was also the fact that he would have to alert his mother to the situation. He wished that he could keep this secret to himself but the stakes had been raised higher. His mother and father would have to see reason. They were blind to the jealousy that Midnight possessed over Centari and himself. He would have to warn them to keep any future children away from Midnight lest she try to destroy them too. There would be no safe haven for the rest of his family it seemed. His sister had truly gone off the deep end.
Castor gently lifted his gaze to watch Puramu. He wasn't exactly sure but he believed that he could tell that the mare was hurting. Slowly and with great care Castor located an old spider's web and gently gathered the material up. He moved towards Puramu and spoke again. "If you wish, I could help slow the bleeding from your neck wound."

Still in Feral form as she is following the scent of the stallion. The blood from both the stallion and that damned mare were strong meaning she wounded them each at least one good time. The mare more so she believes. About time. That damned mare will get a world of hurt if Kiyo gets a hold of her again. Keeping to a steady pace as she continues down the way and heading towards the two that got away. Thinking about everything that he has said as she takes in a deep breath. "She was black. There was shades of purple by her black hooves. White markings covered her body and they seemed to look as if they had a bit of a glow. But that could have been the moon light playing tricks on my eyes. Oh eyes. Hers were a pretty blue color. And there was an armored black hawk flying in the area. Maybe her familiar. I am not so sure about the hawk. I just have never seen it before. Her mane and tail where blue, purple, and white in color. I hope this is helpful to you." She stated that as she flinched a bit. Moving about made her neck wound hurt. It would be nice to get some healing plants made into a cream to help with the pain. Maybe she would do that if she saw any of the plants about the area they happen to be in.
After all her mother taught her a lot about healing plants and how to turn them into creams or drinks. Not that she has had to use that information all that much. Hearing him ask about the slowing the bleeding as she nods her head yes which caused her to hurt even more. "Yes please if it isn't a bother. It would be of help." She points out.

It was with a growing sense of horror that Castor listened to Puramu's description of the mystery mare. The picture that she painted gave Castor a feeling of absolute certainty of just what levels of depravity that Midnight's Whisper had sunk to. Frowning with the cobwebs collected on his muzzle Castor approached the Angeni mare and grimaced. He knew this would probably hurt Puramu but to slow the bleeding the wound needed to be tended to. "I apologize in advance for how much this might sting Puramu."
With not much more warning than that Castor moved within the mare's personal area and began to dab at the wound on her neck. The cobwebs left his muzzle and adhered to the mare's wound. His hope was that it would at least slow the bleeding enough for a scab to form. Once that happened the wound would close on its own. Stepping back Castor frowned at his handiwork; a healer he was not. The wound looked a little better but not by much. The silence settled between them before the stallion cleared his throat. It was enough to break the silence and Castor gathered his mental strength around him. This next part would be hard to spit out.
For now it was time to reveal the identity of this mare that Puramu had seen around the area. "I believe I know whom it is you have seen. The mare you described sounds very much like a member of my family. Her name is Midnight’s Whisper. She has been intensely jealous of my existence, along with my brother. We were found by my mother after she wished upon a star. Midnight's Whisper never took too kindly to us and has personally made her intense dislike of myself and my brother. I do not know where this hatred has come from but it is alarming. I never expected her to send someone else to do her dirty work."
Musing more to himself Castor wondered how Midnight had managed to get a purewalker to work for her. Was something more at stake here that he did not know about? Castor glanced back to Puramu and took note of her wings. He felt like he owed the mare. "I might be overstepping in this suggestion but I feel like you could leave me to face this beast alone. I do not wish for you to come to more harm than is necessary. Please do not take this the wrong way but you should go.”
Castor sighed after speaking. It was possible that he was being too chivalrous by suggesting the mare leave but it was true that he was feeling guilty about already dragging her into the situation of being hunted by a purewalker. It had already gone too far.

Sniffing the stallion out as she is more annoyed by Puramu. "That damned mare is always ruining my plans. I will make her pay." In feral form as she is tracking Puramu and Castor down. Closing in on them.tefla Sorry for the double quote had to fix something. Puramu flinches a bit once the webs are applied to her wound and she takes a deep breath and then slowly releases it. Listening to him as she is shocked that his own family would do this to their own kin. Why would one do such a thing. Family is to be loved and held dear to one's self. Jealousy shouldn't be a reason to harm your own family. She pouts a bit when hearing all of this. "For a family member to hate others of their own family is just too sad. But I think your sister might need mental help. Even if you are from the wishing star. You are still family." She points out.
"No need to worry about me. That purewalker already has me on her list. She will most likely be the death of me sooner or later. So I won't worry about the sooner or later part for now. I won't leave you to face her alone. It is something I can not do. For I am an Angeni and I will use my holy light to send her way if I have to over and over again." She smiles.
