Merope closed her wings as the liepard struck, falling fast enough that she was able to dodge the blow. She caught air just before she hit the ground, and used Leech Life as she climbed back up.

"Hang in there, Zebo!" Zin said in alarm when she saw her beloved pokemon wobbling on his feet. It didn't look like the battle was going well for them, but at the very least they'd finish strong. "One more Pursuit!"
Zebo obeyed his trainer despite his fatigue.

Finally the liepard could move no more. He slumped to the ground, defeated.
"Thanks for the battle!" Zinnia called. She pulled out Zebo's pokeball and withdrew him. "Let's do this again sometime!" With that, she hurried out of the stadium to the pokemon center.

Merope pipped agreement before flying back to her trainer. She landed roughly on Genesis' stomach to wake the human from her slumber.
