Zebo was happy to. With the pidgeot paralyzed, he didn't have to worry. He scratched Algol again.

As Algol felt the paralysis lessen, he twitched his wings. Any moment now he would be able to take to the air and retaliate against the Liepard.

Oblivious to his impending peril, Zebo continued to scratch at the pidgeot. Zinnia, from her place on the podium and blocked by Zebo, could not tell if their opponent was close to breaking free yet. So she watched, hoping that they would be able to end the battle sooner than expected.

After Zebo managed to get his attack in, Algol rose and flapped himself back up into the air. Unfortunately, that onslaught of attacks had taken much out of him. He probably wouldn't win this. Whipping up another tornado, he went for a Gust in attack.

"Careful!" Zin warned, too late. Zebo leaped out of the way of the worst of the gust attack, but he was blown a little off-course mid-leap and landed hard.
"Scratch!"
Zebo wouldn't let up now. He raked his claws toward the bird pokemon again.

The Scratch, coinciding with his other wounds, made the attack hurt tenfold. Algol had to swoop away again to let the searing pain settle. From afar, though his wings were growing weak, he tried another Gust to even out the playing field.

With no more fight in him, Algol dropped to the stadium field with a thud. A red beam erupted from his Pokeball as Cetus withdrew him and, without another word, she departed.
