"Right, stay away from ranged classes. Or anything that would try to take me out, which is basically just about anyone who doesn't like me." He said with a sigh, though a smile still curled around his words. "So my first order is to get flexible, so that I can slip out of anyones hold." He held up a finger as he spoke, "Next is to work on endurance? It would be pretty pathetic if I tried to out run someone and only managed to make it to the next block right?"
He held up a third finger, "And thirdly, I have to train Tweet so that he won't try to peck off his riding gear." He raked his hand through his bangs, "Or rather, I need to get riding gear first and then get him used to it. Maybe some rope tied into a harness would be better.... I don't think I'd like flying up as high as I've seen some kinfa and their riders." He looked a little ill at the thought of being so high up.
"He was a gift from my Masters. Well, he was a gift for their son but he...passed away before they could give it to him. Instead of reselling him they just gave him to me." He shrugged, "I was very little at the time so the details are foggy."

"Yeeesh lad, your going to make me want a kinfa." Isolder smiled. "Flexibility is easy enough, you have to stretch everything out should probably do it before you exercise as well as in the morning and at night, keep practicing and your tendons will loosen up nicely. Don't get too muscular though because they will get in the way, indurance is earned by doing what you want to be good at so if you want endurance running then run. Same with swimming." "As for Tweet, little bits at a time over time and he should be okay with it, once your up in the air you might find you like it, I would be nervous to begin with too but I still would love to try." He had originally been leary about something flying but it would be really cool to fly. Or to run faster. He should get a familiar. "Kinfa come from Tale don't they? Lots of the birds seem to come from Tale."

"Practice and more practice." He muttered to himself, wondering if the things he'd been taught about the body would help him with stretching. It wouldn't be too hard to figure out things that would work for him after all. Pain would be a good teacher, assuming he didn't over do it. "I don't think my frame could support large muscles, I'm too slender." He said, fingers circling one wrist. It was true, he looked fairly fragile next to Isolder.
He blanched at the thought of going up so high, but had to concede that yes, he wouldn't know unless he tried it out first. "I'll try. Nothing ever gets done without trying first." He sounded a little grudging, as if he really didn't want to, but would anyway. "I'm not sure? I haven't been to Tale. I did see lots of Kinfa and their eggs in the Oban markets, so you could probably buy one if you can't tame one."

"I'll definitely have to look in on it, I think finding an egg would be so awesome! That way the bond is from the very beginning, of course I wouldn't pass up a chick if I couldn't find an egg, I wonder if they breed them there? Or if they raid nests, both sound very fun." Isolder was getting excited a kinfa meant he could fly all over, it would be fantastic for brother hunting. He would find them in no time, he could even reach Zena and Matori with relatively little problem.. "How soon do they grow do you know?" If he got one from an egg it might take a great deal of time to grow it to an appropriate size, especially if he put on more muscle than he already had. "Where is Tweet?" He asked curiously.

"Probably a bit of both. If you breed them too much there's a higher chance of inbreeding happening and the results turning out a malformed hatchling." He commented in an off-handed manner. He'd heard people muttering about it before, about familiars and about slaves. Or rather, 'former' slaves. The ones who chose to stay with their masters rather than roam free.
"I don't know about the nest raiding parts. I'd be afraid of the parents coming back and finding me." He could just see it now, pocketing the eggs and all of a sudden getting attacked by angry adult kinfa. Tweet did some damage, mainly from how sharp his claws and beak were, and he was still little. "Oh, um. I've had him since I was little and he's only half grown now." He did some mental math, "But I've been told that he's hit that age where he'll start to grow rapidly. I'm not sure how much longer it'll be before he's considered an adult."
Virain made a vague gesture with one hand. "Around. He usually finds me more than I find him. But you can't really miss him. He's a bright yellow and green."

"I think I would have been careful with my breeding but you have a point. I wouldn't want the parents finding me either, that would be terrifying." He shivered. "Oh, so that would be him over there then?" Isolder asked, watching a colorful Kinfa flying not too far away. "He's handsome, I can't wait to see what he looks like full grown." A magnificent bird indeed, still growing though, they must get really huge if that was half grown. "Yup I want one." Isolder grinned. "They are so unlike the Jauhar creatures, that its pretty cool." "That means I'll have to go to Oba eventually, maybe my brothers are down there, can't help to look right?" He eyed the bird wondering at what size the rider became the ridee.

Virain followed Isolder's gaze and grinned, "Yeah that's him." He said, pride coloring his words, "He's very sweet. I don't think I've seen him get angry at anything yet." He thought about calling out to him, but decided to let him be. The place where they were wasn't really ideal for the young kinfa to land. At least, not without knocking things over first.
"Nothing is ever not worth checking out." He replied, turning his gaze back onto Isolder, "A lead is a lead even if it turns out to be false. I wish you luck in getting a Kinfa and finding your siblings." His look turned curious, "How many do you have? I'm an only child so it's hard to imagine having to look for anyone."
