Day 1Melody Isaac furtive glances, smiling sleepily at him once he ate with gusto. Jill looked between the two guests, chewing on bacon with her mouth not entirely closed. "Melody's a real chef," she said, beaming with pride, "and y'all are by yourselves. Normally you'd be split on duties across the shifts, but since it's just a few days, it ain't a real big deal. We've got a radio for y'all to take with you." She began to take food off of almost everyone else's plate, because hers was empty. "The perimeter is marked real clear for us; an X on the bark of trees, all a dozen or so meters apart. It ain't humans we're concerned about, no one comes out this far. Not even excitable hipsters who want to explore a foreign country. Hah!" Leslie shrunk down further, shoulders coming up around his ears. He kicked Isaac beneath the table, just because he could.

Day 1The only outward sign that Isaac gave at the kick was a low grunt and a slow, pleased smile. "Sounds simple enough," he murmured thoughtfully, shoving his plate towards Jill so she could eat what she wanted.

Day 1And it was. The weather was warm, the sun was shining down between the trees, and they were, save for their radio connection, alone. There was only the wilderness. "So," Leslie said, carving an X into a tree with a runic dagger, "Was I just ******** unlucky enough to get you at random, or did you have a ******** hand in this?"

Day 1
"Why do you think that I care enough to arrange a thing such as this?"
Isaac had just finished carving an X into his tree. He tucked the dagger back into the sheath he'd slid onto his belt and gave Leslie a look.
"So I guess you are simply lucky. And now we are all alone, you and I."

Day 1He stabbed the dagger into the tree, embedding it nearly to the hilt. "I just," he said, sighing and closing his eyes, " really can't ******** stand you. You know that?" Leslie didn't wait for an answer. Instead, he charged.

Day 1
Isaac took the contact in stride; knotting his fingers in Leslie's shirt he tosses the smaller hunter to the ground, teeth bared.
“Come on then,” he widened his stance, eyes hard and narrowed.

Day 1The back of his neck still ached in the best-worst way, same for the rest of him. Leslie felt boneless and carefree, not wracked by guilt or regret, too at ease. He still had his normal b***h-face, but what else was new? He'd gotten laid, not changed into a different person entirely. "Jesus," he murmured, the light of the bunker finally visible on the horizon. "I'm ******** starving."

Day 1"Mm," Isaac replied by way of agreement, loose-limbed and looking entirely too satisfied. It was all he said, because their relationship was nowhere near friendly or amicable. Things hadn't changed, not really. The regret was not too far off, and Isaac knew it, but there would be time for that later. "Food, a shower, and sleep," he added. "In that order, I think."

Day 1They weren't friends and likely never would be; they were ******** minus the friendship, minus the respect, minus anything but the ever-present lust lurking in the backs of minds. Leslie opted for a shower first, considering the state of him, and so he could gingerly touch the raw wound on his neck. His cheeks burned, knowing that it would scar, that Isaac had given him something permanent, a reminder of his place. The dirt washed away, but the knowledge would remain. He ate absentmindedly, even smiling a few times at George and Melody, settling in for sleep easily, tired down to his ******** bones.

Day 2The smell of coffee woke Isaac, and it took him a few moments to realize where he was and what had transpired up to that point - the instant it hit him, the Sun let out a low, sated noise as he shifted upright. The room was small, and Isaac's eyes sought out Leslie's shape in the bed next to his. He remained quiet, a smile of satisfaction curling his lips.

Day 2He was sore from top to bottom, exhausted and shapeless in his bed. He groaned as he woke up, reluctant to stir, sitting up with all the candour of a child rising from his nap, including a sleepy eye-rub. "Ugh," Leslie muttered, entirely to himself, reaching down to grab a shirt out of his duffel bag, changing under the covers because in front of anyone-- even Isaac or maybe especially Isaac-- just didn't sit right with him. "Anything before ten am can go to ******** hell."
