He couldn't help rolling his eyes. "As if I'd be so lazy as to hire a maid," Magiore muttered, and gave a sigh. "Kodi always did have some strange ideals, I really should talk to her about personal space and keeping things to herself."
His fingers wrapped securely around hers, and he gave a little sigh. Magiore's eyes flickered towards Durumi's, her words soft in his ears, her lips gentle on his fingers as she lifted them to her mouth and kissed them. It reassured him, a little, and Magiore's expression softened somewhat.
"She's impulsive," he said. "I don't want her to get involved. I didn't want you to get involved either, if you recall," Magiore added, with a significant look at Durumi. "What I do, it's...it's not easy, it's dangerous, and sometimes there are things that cause pain, but..."
He exhaled a breath. "You're right, though, I can't always push her away. She's my little sister, after all, and I owe it to her to make her feel that she is one."

She made a small pbfft sound at his thoughts of a maid. She didn't think he ever would either, but the idea of it made her laugh regardless. "She's a very energetic person. She dropped off some fruit tea's that I have packed away, perhaps I'll whip up us some to celebrate this move in on the hot day?"
She nodded, seeing the worry on the man's eyes and heart was troubling as is but...
"We will never be free, but I am with you." She held his hand tighter, "I will always be with you. No matter what you do, or what pain stems from it." She breathed in. "But she is your sister, and she'll feel the same. She has too..."
She had to believe that even though they were the 'bad guys', they were actually good people.

"She's...something else," said Magiore dryly, but he did appreciate the fruit tea all the same. Kodi knew what he liked, and so the gesture was appreciated, even with her insistent, quirky personality that accompanied it. "And I think I'd like that, tea always makes me feel more at ease."
Not that he felt bad about moving in with Durumi, because there was nothing that was making his life happier than being able to be with her.
Magiore dipped his head to knock their foreheads together, eyes fluttering shut briefly. "I will always be with you as well," he told her softly, opening them again so that he could squeeze their hands together. "I only hope that Kodi won't ever be involved with things."

There was a deep sinking in her pit that told her that usually...
Usually bloodlines continued powered lives.
She had met so many siblings of siblings in powered life, she wondered...
"If she is, we'll find her." Mintaka sighed, "No matter which side she would choose, We'll find her." She would help Magiore protect his family.
"Come on you, let's get some more home stuff out of there." She flicked his nose. "I'm ready for a nap too." She teased.Kuuropii I think we are close to wrapping this /neatly

Magiore's expression turned tender as he looked down at her.
"You are right, of course," he said with a sigh and bent to n** playfully at the finger that flicked his nose. He took her hand and kissed it, and then kissed her nose and her cheek and finally her lips, a smile curving his own up as he gathered her against his chest.
"A nap sounds delightful after all of this," said Magiore, and then he led her back outside.
