Staring at the whiskey, Marosa smiled for the first time since she was in his company.

"Y'know, I think I kin grow tae like ye." Taking the bottle, she took a good swig of it, grimaced, and swallowed. "Ahhh, aye, that burns the throat real good." The redhead took another good swallow and handed it back, breathing out happily. "Aaahhhhhhhh."

Micheal decided right then and there that there was nothing to Not like about this one. She clearly knew where the good in life was at. "Doesn't it though? Hey, if you are that tired, I'll carry you for a while. So you are at full fighting strength when the going gets tough."

"Really? Ye'd do that?" Marosa stood up and grinned at him, happiness etched all across her face. But only for a moment.

She glanced back and sighed, her shoulders slumping. "Yeah... th' fight." It was nice, being in a moment's company where one didn't have to worry about anything, or anyone. Just enjoying another's company... and alcohol.

"Yer not bad, ye know that?" The redhead patted him on the shoulder gently, then brushed her own backside off. "But... don't go tellin' people oi'm not a boy, now. Appearances and all." She shook a finger at him, only mock teasing.

"Sure sure" Micheal grinned. He had won something in this. Was that affection? He sure missed that. Micheal was the type... He couldn't remember, but for some reason he felt he needed people a lot more people around him. Perhaps she was a replacement for a family member, after all they did share the same red hair.

He stood and offered her his back. "I can keep a secret for you. As long as you don't go around telling people I'm not all bad. Ok?" he grinned where she couldn't see it. There was no since in stopping people from fearing him.

He didn't even think people might feel less afraid to see him carrying around another knight. That was just a show of strength after all. Strength trained. Really.

She was rather proud of that cape.

"Onward, my faithful steed!" And she pointed.
