Not yet anyway, he thought stubbornly. Part of Jack wished he hadn't bothered remembering her at all; it wasn't a useful piece of information anyway, not unless her own memory decided to help out and make her more pliable.
"No s**t," he groused. "I have another option once we're out." Because like hell was he going to believe they would die down here; he'd dislocate his limbs if it meant sliding between the bars if he had to. "An option that is becoming more palatable than these ******** ingrates. Doing all that work for the Great Knights only to get tossed in here like a ******** criminal?" His grip tightened on the bars.

Chel shrugged. She didn't really have animosity towards the knights (they were really just another shitty employer to her), but she certainly didn't hold them in kindness.
Plus she always liked hearing her options. "What's that?" She covered her mouth with a hand to hide her smile. "I don't think yer pretty enough t'sleep yer way out."

"Now you're interested?" he asked, giving her a look. "I thought you had your own plan all figured out with your cousin already."

"Rule number one is t'never have a plan," she shot back cheekily, neither answering his question nor avoiding it. "That way it never goes wrong."
She looked at him with something more conniving in her eyes. "Just wonderin' where you're headed. Need to know if I'm headed there too."
