Alassiel was honestly not surprised to hear that the Alkidikes had gotten rid of a child they thought too weak or did not resemble them as much. It was sad, Alassiel had a half sister and her mother would never think to have gotten rid of her. “At least now she is stronger and that’s what counts.”
“Most of them yes, though I am sure they’ve all done quite a bit of growing in my absence. I’ll also have new family; I figure I’ll be an aunt of a few new additions to the household.” Her sister had been pregnant when she’d left and her brother’s wife too. “Do you have a lot of family?”

"Yes she is stronger, and loved. That's what counts."
When Alassiel spoke about having new additions she smiled. She knew that feeling. "No, though in my absence my younger sister has had a daughter. I've yet to meet her though. However if she is anything like my sister she's bound to be... Fun." Briella chuckled. "I have another that's like a sister, though we don't share moms. We've lived together most of our lives." well technically they did have the same mother, and every Alkidike was her sister, but she considered Dyakida a sister like earthlings considered those of their blood. Like she considered Kaa her sister.

“That’s good.”
They were coming up on the fork in the road that Alassiel had to take to make her way to her family. It had been actually quite pleasant to speak with the Alkidike, which was probably a rare thing now a day but still none the less pleasant.
“Well I think this is it for me.” Alassiel paused at the fork once they reached it. She wondered briefly if the girl would return to the beach to watch for others who might head this way. She doubted there would be anyone else, her family would surely move out from their home.
“It was nice speaking with you.”

She stopped, looking around before returning her eyes towards Alassiel. It should be safe from there on so she wasn't worried about the other women. Plus the sooner she got back to the beach the smaller the possibilities that her sisters would attack any Earthlings.
"It was nice speaking to you as well. I hope that your family reunion is wonderful, and I hope that should we met again it would be under better circumstances." she said with a nod.

Hopefully, Alassiel thought, they would not meet on the battlefield. Dipping her head to the other girl, Alassiel tugged Raysh on and took her fork in the road. Here she picked up the pace. The faster she got home the better, she didn`t know if she`d be running into any other Alkidikes and she didn`t want to be stranded alone. She also wanted to see her family dearly, it had been quite a while since she`d seen them after all.

She walked back to the beach and resumed her post. She had helped one Earthling cross the beach without a problem, maybe she could do so for other earthlings. Plus it wasn't like she had anything to do for the rest of the day. With a sigh she hoped that she wouldn't have to do this for long, not that she didn't enjoy talking to the Earthlings that passed by she just wished that her sisters calmed down and that this wouldn't be needed any longer.
