Harmonia had missed Dennis's advance on her. She'd been far too busy meeting the dirt and grumbling to herself about her lack of abilities. She chuckled. "Hopefully it's sometime soon, otherwise I better stick to always having partners." With a smile she patted her skirt one more time and watched a bit of dirt fall off before glancing over at Sinistra who seemed content to sit and watch, but Harmonia wasn't about to let her do that. "Your turn Sinistra." She hurried over to the other girl and reached out a hand to help her up. "I am not the only one who gets to be beaten up tonight." She gave her a wink and grinned.

Sinistra shook her head quickly.
"Oh, no thank you! I think I've had quite enough of that for one night! My hand still stings from slapping him! Uh. I am very sorry about that, Mister Dennis. I really... I just reacted and... oh, Harmonia, you did much better than I did! You looked like a real fighter for a moment there! You even hit him!"
Sinistra bounced up as Harmonia came over to her, looking very excited and taking hold of the other senshi's arm, though this time it was not from fear but rather from her delight.
"I think you might be really good at this! Oh, I'll help as much as I can, of course, but I think you're much more suited to this than I am! I would never be much of a fighter, I was never good at PE or anything in school, but ah, maybe I can find some other way to help! Or I'll just keep practicing. When... my hand doesn't hurt so much."
She looked at Merlinite, who did not seem to be buying her excuse, but didn't push the matter. If she didn't want to fight him, he wouldn't push her.

"You hit him too." She laughed. "And I am not that good. I hope to get there, but not without a lot of practice." "I think you should try again! It'll only help you, and if you're caught in a fight by yourself you'll be better off if you've trained." She paused for a moment before her face fell a bit, getting a bit more serious with the other girl. "I know from experience what it's like to be caught up in a fight you can't win. It's terribly scarey, painful, and could cost you everything." Harmonia knew she was maybe putting a damper on the other girls enthusiasm but she felt the need to really try and be honest with her. Harmonia had learned the hard way and if she could help someone from experiencing that then all the better. "Go on." She smiled again in an attempt to bring back the happy-go-lucky mood. "He's not going to really hurt you." She laughed. "Right Dennis?" She looked back over her shoulder at the the half-youma with a grin.

Sinistra watched Harmonia, feeling embarrassed and looking down at the ground after a moment. If she were a puppy, her ears would have been drooping sadly because of the scolding she was receiving.
Not that she would hold it against Harmonia. So far, it was the same kind of story she had heard from many of the other senshi she met, and while she was still new, she understood the common themes. Even if she had not experienced any of them herself yet, it did not make the danger any less real.
They were all probably trying to warn her of all this because of their own experiences. After all, here was a youma that had been corrupted by one of those terrible Negaverse people she kept hearing so much about. Or... something like that.
She was a little confused about it all, and how it worked, but still.
Dennis nodded his head and Sinistra moved forward to engage the youma in their faux fight. It did not last too long, but she did manage to dodge his first fist swing, and he managed to not use his claws. He used his tail again, this time ducking low and getting close to her before whipping it forward, right to her midsection.
Remembering that he just said he would not really hurt her, though, he pulled his tail to a stop as she wailed and fell backwards anyway, in a futile effort to try and dodge that went wrong as her ankles betrayed her.

Harmonia watched as the girl grudgingly went to face off with Dennis. She felt somewhat bad that she probably guilt tripped Sinistra, but at the same time she'd feel even worse if she hadn't prodded the girl into training more and found out she had gotten severely hurt. Training was a good thing. Watching intently Harmonia followed the two fighters. Curious to see what would happen. As Dennis attacked her Harmonia inwardly cheered as Sinistra dodged the first attack. Yay for not getting beat up, that was an accomplishment, but the senshi of Harmony certainly cringed at the ungraceful attempt of avoiding the next attack. Well, it seemed hitting the dirt was a common theme tonight. For the senshi anyway. "Are you alright?" She called over from where she was standing, not wanting to hop into their fighting space in case they decided to keep at it. Though Harmonia doubted that Sinistra would bounce back up and into the fray. "That wasn't bad! You dodged his first attack!" Positive reinforcement! Woo!

"I may have bruised my bum," Sinistra said woefully, "but probably not as badly as I did my pride." She moved to stand, though Merlinite offered her his hand and she hesitated a moment, caught half way between rising on her own and accepting the help of his clawed, scary looking hand. She told herself it was fine and reached her hand to his carefully.
He was very gentle as he helped her up, nodding his head.
"You did pretty good. Might want to try to cut down on the screaming and knocking yourself over, though. Do you want to try again?"
Sinistra shook her head furiously.
"No, I think that was quite enough for one night. But uhm. Thank you for working with me." She scooted over to Harmonia's side, where she felt much more comfortable and safe despite her efforts not to judge the half youma.
"I think we could call that a match, right? We did pretty well? Uhm." She wasn't above begging if she had to. But falling into the dirt once was more than enough for her.

"Yea, mine might be a bit bruised as well." She chuckled. "A bruise isn't all that bad though. Though we might feel it in the morning." As Merlinite offered for Sinistra to attempt again Harmonia had hoped the senshi of brooms would agree but didn't show her slight dissappointment when she bowed out. It wasn't surprising considering that Sinistra didn't have any real experience yet with how important all of this way. Harmonia herself probably would have scoffed at the idea the first month of being a senshi. She just hoped that Sinistra wouldn't have to learn a hard lesson. Harmonia sighed softly to herself when Sinistra brought up calling it a night. She'd be thinking it herself since it was getting rather late or early depending on how you looked at it. She needed to get home well before her parents awoke too so that they didn't notice her missing. She wondered for a second if anyone else had the same issue with their parents before deciding that surely there were others who dealt with strict curfews and worried parentals. "Yea, as much as I wish we could keep going it's getting late. I think we did rather well." She looked from Sinistra to Dennis. "Thanks for helping us tonight. It was a big help and really interesting! I'll make sure to let Camelot know you're a great teacher." She winked. "I am sure it's not the most exciting thing for you to do but I definitely wouldn't mind meeting up again sometime if you'd be willing for more I mean."

"No problem," Merlinite said, looking proud of himself. He had done a little bit of good, and managed to help a couple of white moon senshi. It was a pretty great feeling, and he wanted to keep doing more, and see if that... helped... somehow.
Who knew? Maybe if whatever made senshi and knights noticed he was helping them a bunch... he would magically not be a youma any more. That was a silly thought, and he did not really buy into it, but he figured collecting some good karma would not hurt his cause.
"I'm up for helping you guys whenever you want. Gives me something to do, at the very least. Alright, I'll head back to the library."
Sinistra nodded her head and smiled, watching as Merlinite moved off. She had still been tense, but he ended up being a pretty nice guy, for... being half monster. She was still not really clear on how that could happen, but maybe she would worry about that another time.
"I really had a lot of fun hanging out with you and Dennis! Maybe not the falling down parts, but still. I'll keep practicing, and hopefully do a little better next time."

Harmonia smiled and gave a little wave as Dennis headed off. Super pleased that he seemed to enjoy himself and was willing to continue training them. "Night!" She watched as he disappeared before turning to Sinistra. "Yea I really enjoyed myself tonight. You did fine for your first night training too. Don't be so hard on yourself. Don't forget, I think I fell down as much if not more than you did." She chuckled. "Well I better get going too. I need to get in before my parents get up." She jogged a few steps away before turning back around. "Want to meet up here again the same day next week? Even if Dennis can't come we can patrol together? It's always nice to have company."

Sinistra nodded her head, though she was not sure she wanted to be left alone to walk home. She supposed she would have to get used to it. And anyway, she had come out on patrol alone, with the intention of completing it that way. It just so happened that she ended up meeting two very nice people to train with.
Or at least one and a half. But the monster half wasn't so bad, either.
"I think it would be fun to try again! Maybe by next week I'll have learned something interesting to try. I hope Dennis does join us, but if not we can figure out something to do together. Oh, I'm excited! It was very nice to meet you, Harmonia, and thank you for joining me tonight!"
She moved to give her a hug, paused as she wondered if that was too forward or if it was too soon in the friendship for that, then hugged her very quickly anyway.
"See you next week!" She laughed and hurried away, waving as she went.

Harmonia was surprised by the hug but not at all put off by it. As the other girl hurried off Harmonia waved and smiled brightly. "Yes! I'll see you next week!" With that the senshi hurried off in the opposite direction to head back home smiling the entire time as she thought about her new friend Sinistra and the growing friendship with Dennis. It had turned into a good night!
