Incanthis looked down at Kalli when she said that Istanell had a ribbon in his hair, something that made his eyes got for a moment wide, before he smiled, "Did he now? That sound cute." The idea of his oldest brother wearing a ribbon in his hair was one that made Incanthis smile due to it just something like a cute mental image. Giving a nod he then said, "We will look at the ribbons that they have at the stall and you can tell me if any of them look like the one that Istanell was wearing. If so we will get it for you." Incanthis didn't mind spending a bit of his own pocket money to get a ribbon for Kalli, not when she was being so kind as to tell him alll about Istanell, allowing him to be closer to Istanell, at least in spirit, then he had been for ages.

As they arrived at the stall he said, "Here we are, let's look around." He said, moving forward to look things over. If nothing else at least this booth didn't have as many people crowded around it as some booths did. Those, like the one that sold jewelry for instance, would be far more crowded, meaning that this was sort of a warm up. Upon getting to the booth itself, only having to scoot the two of them around a few people, he set to picking up the items that he'd come for. Once they were all found he looked over to Kalli, to see if she'd found a ribbon that she'd wanted.

Her head bobbed with a nod and she tagged along beside him as they made it to the booth with the ribbons. Since Incanthis would need his hands she let go but quickly took hold of his pant leg so that she wouldn't get separated from him while they looked. While he did what he needed she was busy staring at the ribbons. So many types that she wasn't sure what would look best. Finally she saw one. It was simple, not very flashy, but it was yellow. Turning her head to look up at him she'd point at the ribbon she wanted. "Can I have that one?"

incanthis gave a nod as he looked the yellow ribbon over, "That is a nice one, we can see about getting you a nice length of that one, enough that you will be able to tie your hair up with it nicely." He said, asking for a longer piece of the yellow ribbon so that Kalli would be able to make use of it in various styles. Once that was added to the other things he had his order was wrapped up and handed over to him. He gave a smile, paying the woman behind the booth, and then handed over the yellow ribbon to Kalli, "There you are, Kalli." He said before tucking the rest of things into his pack where they would be safe.

"Shall we move on then?" He offered, offering his hand to her. It seemed almost as though he was her escort and bodyguard at the moment, the former of which he was used to being. Accompanying others on errands when he wasn't doing them himself. The trip between the booth where the sewing supplies and accessories and the booth with the jewelry wasn't too long a distance, though it was quite a bit more busy there. He tilted his head to one side before he said, "We might need to try to wiggle our way through if we want to get a look at things." He told Kalli.

The group gathered were younger women who were hovering, examining the jewelry, looking as though they were quite envious of whoever might get some of it. The others there were men that made him think of those buying presents for their lady friends. At least that was what they looked like to Incanthis as he held onto Kalli's hand, trying to weave through the crowd to get them close enough that she would be able to get a look at the things that were for sale.

Kalli held onto the ribbon tightly. Not only had her friend just gotten it for her, but it was also like the one Istanell had in his hair. The little Oban girl would treasure it. With Inca leading the way she made sure to stay close and when he mentioned having to wiggle their way in she giggled and gave a small wiggle to her body. "Like this?" It was silly of her to do but she couldn't help it. Her mood was so elated from the kindness Inca was showing and the fact that she now had something to put in her hair just like her friend. As they made their way closer to the jewelry she searched for something that would look good on Istanell. "Oh, I like that one." She pointed up at a not so shiny necklace that had two red stones on either side of a darker stone. Of course she couldn't tell if they were rocks or gems.

Incanthis gave a bit of a laugh when Kalli showed that she could in fact wiggle, which would help with getting through the crowd, "Good job." He praised her, quite amused by the girl's antics. It wasn't long before the two of them were purusing the wares that the jeweler was selling. There were a lot of things to be had, a lot of them quite lovely, but Incanthis couldn't say he was too interested in jewelry save for the ear clip with the feathers that he wore, the same sort that his brothers had also wore once upon a time ago. It, along with their hair, was something that they had shared, habits given to them by their mother.

Turning his attention to the necklace that Kalli pointed out he gave a smile, "That is a pretty one." He agreed, lifting it up so that he could look it over. He didn't know a lot about jewelry or stones, he just knew what was pretty and what wasn't. He looked the price over, then nodded, "The price isn't bad either." The gems, while pretty, must not be really rare ones given that it wasn't nearly as expensive as some of the pieces that it was sitting with. The metal was likely a more simple and easily produced one as well, and instead of a chain it was on a piece of leather cord. A nice, simple, and affordable piece he thought to himself.

"It's a good choice, Kalli." He told the girl, giving her a smile and a nod.

Kalli bounced with excitement and held her hand out for it. "I want to get it for Istanell." The little girl was suddenly very bubbly. She was thinking back to what her friend had said before and she tried to picture the necklace in his hair rather than around his neck. After all he had scars and they hurt sometimes. It wasn't a girly piece so it should be fine. Kalliope nodded her head. "Yes, that is for Istanell." Almost instantly she was fishing through her things to pull out the silver she'd need for it. "Is this enough, Inca?"

Incanthis looked down at the silver that she fished out of her pocket, counting it, before he nodded, "It should be enough." He said, taking the necklace, handing it over to Kalli, "Keep this safe until you are able to find your friend so that you can give it to him, alright?" He turned to the jeweler, handing over the coins to one selling it, as well as carefully slipping him the rest of what was needed. He wanted Kalli to feel that the present was fully from her, didn't want her to think that she owed him anything where the neckace was involved.

Giving a smile he turned back to Kalli and asked, "Do we want to find something to wrap it up in next? Maybe some nice, fancy paper or a nice piece of cloth? Or would you rather just hand it over to him like this?"

When he took the silver from her and gave her the necklace she grinned and held it close along with the bag that held the necklace for Azure and the yellow ribbon for her hair. Kalli would have to get something to put Istanell's necklace in. And just like that it seemed that Incanthis had read her mind. "Yes! Maybe a pretty cloth." Since Azure's was in a nice bag she wanted something equally nice for her other friend. It wouldn't be fair otherwise. As she thought about it she was also trying to think up ways to give her gifts. Wandering around with valuables on her person wasn't a good idea so she had to think hard. Maybe if she got someone to go with her? It sounded like a good idea. Though who would want to travel around with her?

"That sounds like a nice way to wrap it up and keep it safe until you're able to find him." He said, giving him a smile, before he moved away from the jeweler's stand with Kalli. He gave a smile as he walked along with her, "There is a nice shop near by, one that sells all manner of beautiful cloth. I go there a lot so I am sure that we should be able to get you a section of cloth for you easily enough. They tend to have a box that is full of scrap cloth, pieces that are left over from a full bolt of it. We can look through there for one that you like the looks of."

He lead the way to the shop, looking it over, before looking down at Kalli, "After this I will need to be going home, before my... ahh, friends, think I am missing. I can escort you home though, I don't wnat you to get lost or for anyone to try to take the presents that you have gathered for your friends." He couldn't just leave her alone, even if that meant getting home late and upsetting those who were likely waiting for him.

Giving her a smile and a nod he pushed the door open, "The box of scraps is just inside the door. You look through there and I will look for Mistress Lamya's cloth." He said, stepping inside before he set to looking through the shelf dedicated to cloth that had just come into the shop, knowing that if something new was here that Lamya would want it.

The little girl went along with Incanthis. After all he was her friend and wouldn't do anything to hurt her. Once they came upon the shop he had been speaking of she tilted her head back so that she could look at it all. It was a shop she didn't remember seeing and she guessed that it was on a side of town that she hadn't gone to or even on a street her family didn't take. All things were possible. With the door being opened and Inca telling her where to look for scraps she went inside and started to dig around in the box. She tried to think of what color would be best to put with the gift and settled on a yellow that would be close in color to her ribbon. As Kalli found the perfect piece she went to Incanthis' side to show him. "I want this one. It matches my ribbon." The color was slightly darker than her ribbon but it was close enough for her.

Incanthis turned as Kalli called out to him, it seemed as though she had found the scrap of cloth that she wanted, one that matched her ribbon in fact. Turning to look in her direction he gave a smile, "Aww, that's a cute idea, to have your ribbon match the cloth you're going to wrap his present in." It was a very simple connection, but it was still cute if you asked Incanthis as he turned back to inspecting a new bolt of cloth that he'd found. It was quite flashy, a golden base with red patterns, it was the sort of thing that Lamya would eat up he thought to himself as he picked it up.

"Alright, I just need to pay for this then I can see about escorting you home." He told her, not wanting to her to get lost on his watch. He was quick to pay for the cloth, putting it into his pack though it hung half way out since his pack wasn't that big. With that all done he turned to Kalli, giving her a smile, "Alright, are you ready? Unless there was anything else you needed first?" He'd offer, even if it did mean him getting later then what Muata would really approve of. He didn't want to rush her and seem rude after all. He could deal with Muata if it meant helping Kalli along the way.

She stood still as she waited for Incanthis to pay for the things he had found. Kalliope couldn't figure out why he was buying such flashy cloth but she also didn't ask. When he turned to her she gave a small giggle and nodded her head. "Yep! I'm all done shopping." Instantly she went to his side and took hold of his hand. Her other hand kept the gifts close to her chest. Kalli would guard them like that until she was home and able to put them in her room. She didn't want to lose them or have them get taken from her.

Incanthis gave her a smile when she came to take his hand, "Alright, we should be off then." He said, thanking the worker behind the counter again, saying that he'd likely be back soon, before heading out. The number of times that Incanthis had ended up in the shop was enough that he couldn't guess, meaning that him saying he'd be back soon was more of a promise then anything. He knew he'd be back the next time that Lamya needed something or had heard a new shipment of cloth had arrived, whichever came first.

Once they were outside, and Incanthis gave a glance back and forth, he allowed the girl holding his hand to lead the way. He would make sure to get her home safely and once that was done, if he ran, he might not actually be all that late, and he could use Lamya's new cloth as an excuse for why he was late. It would all work out he told himself in a hopeful manner before he continued onward, glancing down at Kalli from time to time to make sure she wasn't getting too tired.

With Inca telling the worker goodbye she would also turn to look at them and give a wave as best as she could with a handful of things. Once that was done she'd smile up at the boy as they made their way outside. Kalliope paused for a moment to look around then gently pulled him in the direction they had come from. She would retrace their steps then continue home from there. "It's this way Inca."

Incanthis nodded, following along after Kalli, "I thank you, Kalli, for accompanying me on my shopping trip. It's not too often that I have company when I'm out, so this was really nice." He told her, glad that he had run into her, feeling as though the Gods of this lands or perhaps Serin back home, that allowed him to meet with Kalli. Through the kind young Oban girl he was able to learn about Istanell, to know that he was doing well and making friends with others. He hoped that his brother continued to do so, he wanted him to be happy. The same went for his other brothers as well, he'd pray to Serin, as well as Oba's Gods and Goddesses, for all of their happiness.

"I hope you are able to catch up with your friends and get their presents to them soon, I am sure that they will love them." He said, hoping that she was able to find them. There was a part of him that was a litte worried that she might mention him to Istanell, but he wasn't sure if she would. Even if she did what might Istanell think or say? He couldn't even begin to guess really. He could only hope that his brother wouldn't hate him so much that he told Kalli not to go near him he thought to himself for a moment, a thought he pushed aside. His brothers had all the reasons in the world to dislike him after all he thought to himself, falling into silence for a moment.
