As Mirai introduced herself, Aki's smile grew wider.
"Mirai eh? that's a pretty name."
And that was it. Akio kept walking next to her. No questions about the hope family. of the DMWA since wether she liked it or not. Mirai had some fame behind her. Either from her good deeds or her mistakes. Yet, Akio didn't seem to be either caring or aware at all of who Mirai was known for. To him, it appeared she was nothing more than a young girl he met by chance while walking on the street.
Akio observed the market tho.
"Oh, we do have some of those in my land. But they are more... farm looking. We don't do fancy apparels that much. Say Mirai, are you cooking something?"
the brown haired male asked. It appeared he couldn't spend much time without talking.

Mirai kept walking, feeling a bit relieved that the guy only noted her name but didn't ask fifty questions about her. She was known in a light sense. She was a hybrid and the daughter of the DMA head so her name got around. Almost every time she introduced herself, it was like she was a celebrity or something... Something she didn't want. Usually those that didn't ask her things or treat her like a celebrity of sorts were worth being around.
Once they made it to the market, Mirai sighed. It didn't seem super busy. Good. She could find the things she needed much quicker. Mirai glanced back at Akio then for a moment as he spoke before walking again "What gave it away?" she asked in response to the cooking question.

Akio smiled proudly, perhaps not noticing the sarcasm in the question, yet he kept going with his procedures so far.
"Well to be honest you look within the range of age in which I can't tell if you're cooking by yourself or you're buying groceries for your parents to cook for you. It's nice to see you're independent"
Akio grinned afterwards.
"That way you could cook something for me one day~<3"
The snickers after his comment leave it up as an open statement unable to tell joke from serious.
Akio quickly set his eyes around Mirai. Her posture, even the gesture in her eyes which made the male smile.
"So, what am I looking for? You're already stuck with me so might as well let me help you get some stuff."
Akio commented. Sure Mirai could pick everything with her powers, but either Akio didn't fully acknowledged them or believed they weren't necessary. Where would the fun in that be?

Mirai continued looking around for the right stand "Actually, I'm making multiple things... One is testing out a new set of recipe ideas I have had... the other is for an anniversary dinner for my boyfriend and me."
Mirai finally made it to the stand she wanted. It was full of freshly grown vegetables "I want to be a chef one day so technically then I can cook something for you. As for what I need, I need some fresh garlic, ribeye, chicken, mushrooms, carrots, bok choy, and sea salt."

"Oh I see"
Akio nodded, the mention of a boyfriend only made him laugh, but just a little. Not like it made him a little more distant, or make him lose interest in Mirai. So it was safe to assume he wasn't after Mirai's heart.
"Ohohohoho ~<3"
Akio smiled with an awkwardly funny flair. pointing at Mirai with both indexes.
"I'm taking your word on that Mirai. Remember, when you become a chef, your cook is mine to have."
Back with the ingredients, he reached for the garlic, carrots, and bok choy given they were within the same section.
"Alright then. Are you having a bulk shopping session or just enough for the dishes you plan to try out right now?"

Hearing Akio, Mirai wasn't sure what to think. She was relieved he wasn't one of those pickup artists that Texas's romance novels had mentioned. On the other though... he was just naturally a flirty guy.
She paid for the mushrooms that she found as well as the other vegetables that Akip picked up. "I'm planning one making some test recipes... nothing in bulk yet," she said before moving onto a stand that sold chicken. She glanced around, obviously knowing what she was looking before before picking a wrapped chicken and paying the owner of the stand. A small portal appeared near her and she placed the chicken in it before holding her hand out to Akio, meaning she wanted the vegetables. A couple of people glanced over at the portal in awe, some older people looked at it in slight anger and disgust. It was clear demons and witches were still seen as a threat as well as a pest in Death City... though Mirai didn't seem to mind.

"Of course, tho if you're just as good at cooking as me you need to buy in bulk... science says I need lots and lots of practice until it actually tastes like food."
People began awing, and Akio saw them first before looknig at Mirai.
"Ah, isn't that convenient?"
Akio said as soon as he noticed the portals.
"so, what other tricks do you have under your sleeve Mirai?"

Mirai glanced over at Akio then paused for a moment. "I haven't experimented like this before... so maybe buying in bulk would be a good idea..." she reached for her wallet and looked through it before sighing. "Didn't want any stuff for me anyway..." She took the vegetables Akio had and put them away in the portal before closing it. She looked at Akio again and smiled slightly "That's a secret."

Akio smirked, leaning forward to place his hand over hers, preventing her from picking the extra money.
"My advice, my money."
Added Akio before paying for the extra ingredients. Grinning as he mentally checked another item from the list. After all he would feel like being rude just talking and not cooperating.
"So where are we going next?"
Asked before observing Mirai's first smile of the day as she answered his question. Cocking an eyebrow Akio stared at her with devious charm before replying.
"Mirai, you know this will only make me more curious about it, right?"
Warned the entrepeneurish male. Waiting for her next answer, either to his last question or regarding their new location.

Mirai frowned slightly "Mmmm.... but then I have to owe you... or feel the need to owe you at least..." she pouted. "Next I'm going to my session," she told him, trying to emphasize that only she was going to the next location and not him.
She didn't reply to his next statement and kept walking while mentally thinking over what else she needed to go shopping for.

As Mirai replied, Akio's hand would gently pet the top of her silver hair.
"Nope, I put that idea on your head. it's just fair that I take responsibility for it. So, you owe me nothing... except the food when you become chef. That you can't get away from. I'll hunt you until the end of the world if I need to."
Winking back at Mirai, he snickered as she emphasized her lonely intentions.
"Really? I guess I'm going to mine as well."
Akio didn't said anything. but kept following Mirai anyways.

Mirai side stepped as Akio pet her on the head. "Don't do that ever again, please," she told him before she went back to walking. "My session is a girl's only one... just thought I would let you know..." she told him.
After about ten minutes, they made it to a rather large REC building in the down town area right outside the shopping district. Mirai stepped in and showed her card that showed she was a member before smirking back at Akio as if to say "Good luck getting in without a card."
She suddenly whirled over to the girl's locker room and disappeared inside.
Mirai let out a long sigh and scratched her head "Yeesh that guy won't quit..." she muttered as she walked over to a locker and unlocked it. The REC center allowed members to leave their belongings that they used for exercising in the building as long as the members bought their own locks. She paused for a moment as she thought about how Texas would react to this guy before muffling a small laugh. "I have no idea if Texas is even the jealous type..." She began changing clothes then before pulling out her tank top, yoga pants, and shoes.

Leaving Akio behind, the male merely raised an eyebrow as he eyed Mirai leave towards the Lockers. Sighing he was about to leave when he felt someone pull over his sleeve.
"Ehh?"
Minutes later, while Mirai and her classmates were in position at the yoga room, one of the receptionist walked by and made a quick apology.
"We are terribly sorry, our Yoga instructor, Rachel had an accident this weekend and can't make it to this session. Fortunatelly we've come by a substitute teacher for this week's session."
As she spoke, another figure would enter the room.
"Please give a warm welcome to mr. Akio Katashi, he's quite knowledgeable about many martial arts and also one of Rachel's closest friends so we know he'll be capable to help us out through this session"
Akio stepped forward as he was introduced, giving up a warm smile but nothing like the usual cheerfulness Mirai was used to see. Akio inspected everyone in the room, even passed by Mirai but didn't wave, said hi or anything. with professional approach the male cleared his throat.
"Alright girls, we'll start today's session with warm ups. We don't want any strained muscles here. Remember this is supposed to be a relaxation class not an infirmary."
A small and sort of funny joke made to break the ice. Just a while ago he was so flirty and friendly and now he looked like someone by the books.
Still his smile didn't took much to reappear. It wasn't flirty tho, it was as if he was enjoying the exercises along with the class.
"Alright, now let's switch into our routine's first position..."
And so, the class had started.

Mirai eventually made it to the class and grabbed a yoga matt. She sat down and waited until the receptionist made an apology about their teacher not being there. No way...
Mirai watched as Akio came in and was apparently their sub instructor. Without even blinking, she got up, rolled the matt up, and walked out. "Not worth the money..." she muttered with a grossed out expression on her face as she decided to make her way towards the gym instead to excersise.

With class starting Akio would spot Mirai Leaving, he merely rolled his eyes as he saw her grossed expression.
"So she's that king of girl..."
Thought mostly to himself, but right now he had a job to do. And so he continued with the class.
"Alright now move onto the next position."
Of course, he was in front of the class, setting the example of how the motion should be done. Eventually joining a few students who had struggles with the motions. After all he had to make sure everyone could follow up at their phase.
