"That is very kind of her to open up her heart to the others like that." He said, impressed by her, though he disliked the fact that she had those who would be against her due to her looks alone. One would think that what was inside a person should matter the most, but that was not the case when it came to their more extreme sisters.
"Aselia?" He asked, his eyes going a bit wide, "Surely that can't be right..." He murmured to himself, finding his mind whirling and he felt a bit faint in fact, "I spoke with her... I thought..." He had thought that their chat might have helped, that maybe he'd gotten through to her, to think about their hybrid sisters and brothers kindly. He had hoped that she'd listened to him, but it appears that maybe she hadn't? He shook his head, "I... don't know if I can believe it, I should try to speak with her again, get it all cleared up." She seemed like a good girl when he'd spoke with her, he didn't want to think the worst due to rumor alone.
Giving Maya a smile he said, "I thank you, Maya, it's very kind of you to offer me a place like that. I am tempted to take you up on the offer but I don't want to leave just yet, not until I know more of what is going on." He gave a soft sigh, "I understand that you need to go, you have to do what is best for you and what is the best for your family. Once you settle down, where ever it is that you are going, can you let me know? I might end up taking you up on your offer if things become more tense in the area."
