The stammering hadn't gone away even after the scorra had given up its affectionate attack, and so it must just be the way the girl spoke. It reminded her of Finnley who, come to think of it, she should go find and visit as well some time. It was terrible to think, but the war had kept all of her friends together. Now they had all returned home and gone on with their lives. Sauti had seemed so big all of a sudden. Now, though? Now it was getting smaller. Now she was seeing the world.
"Oh? I don't have any siblings, unfortunately. It's just my mother and I," Ime offered with a nod, "Is he younger or older?"

Sy wondered for a second how her life would be if it were just her and her mother. The red head wasn't sure she could picture life without her twin. So when Ime asked about the age of her sibling she'd give a grin. "He's m-my twin." The way she beamed about the information said she was proud of that fact. Syqvara gave a small giggle. "I-If you want to b-borrow him, y-you can." She wasn't opposed to sharing her brother. He was the best brother there was, at least to her.

"Oh, that's neat!" Ime chimed. Imagine life with a built-in friend! Well, no, that wasn't always true. She had friends who were twins and were not always so fond of their nearest siblings. That was just how it was, though. You got in fights with your family sometimes, but they were the most important fixture in your life. Hers just happened to not have many members.
"Maybe I will! I can call him my brother and confuse people. I don't think I look Leaf-y at all, do you?" She fluttered her eyelashes and turned her head a few times, all in good humor. Ime giggled and shook her head. A hybrid, sure, but she didn't have the right hair of gems to pass for any part Leaf! Then again, siblings didn't necessarily mean shared blood.

Sy chuckled and nodded her head. "It is. I l-love my brother." He was also the person she was most at ease with most of the time. Her stutter was almost non-existent when she was with her twin. As Ime mentioned calling Cyn her brother and confusing people Syqvara couldn't help the bout of laughter that left her. She was amused by this. "Oh I d-don't know. Y-you could p-pull it off." A grin spread across her face and she tried to picture the scenario in her mind.

Ime laughed with the girl, just as amused by the sentiment. So wondered if Syqvara's twin looked anything like her, being of the opposite gender. She could just see it, a more masculine version of the young woman strutting around town. As it turned out, she appeared to find Leaf men rather attractive, or at the very least she did with one of them. Did this girl know Thorn, perhaps? She was too embarrassed to ask!
"That's good, though! Family's important." Friends came and went, but family was always family.

"Mhm" In fact she wasn't sure what she would do without her family. As they continued to walk she took a moment to think to herself before she looked at Ime. "W-would you like t-to meet my b-brother?" Sy would love to introduce someone to her brother. Not only as proof she was being more sociable but also so that they shared a friend. "We're n-not far from m-my house." The charming blush in her cheeks seemed to become more prominent.

For Ime, the offer seemed completely unbidden but was also rater charming. So Syqvara liked her enough to want to introduce her to family? They had been talking about her brother but that rarely meant much in the greater scheme of things. She gave a surprised raise of the eyebrows and then smiled.
"Sure! I'd love to."

She lit up when Ime said she'd love to meet her brother. That meant a lot to her. Ime would be the first person she introduced to her sibling. Excitedly, Sy reached out and took the girl's hand so that she could lead her in the right direction. She wasn't running, but her pace had certainly picked up.
