Bushi thought about that for a moment, then gave a chuckle, "It would take one impressive bird to carry me about, I will keep it in mind though. I somehow think that them getting that big will only make them that much more popular amongst certain crowds." Only the richest people with the space to keep them would be able to have a kinfa in Oba if they actually grew that big. Yes, those things sounded perfect! He would need to get his hands on some of them for certain he thought to himself, quite delighted by the idea of trading Kinfa and their feathers.
"That's alright, you can leave the more urban areas to a city guy like me." He said, giving a grin, not minding that in the least bit, "If you do start to look into the cities I am gonna say he first and foremost thing you will want to watch out for is those who might find themselves too interested in the cute face of yours." He said, only half joking, "You have to keep in mind that while slavery was abolished in Oba after the war there are still those who try to get away with that, and various other things, under the guard's noses." He'd hate for one of his best friends to get scooped up, it would be quite the shame. He thought on it for a moment more then he said, "Passed that you will need to be aware of those who will look down upon you as an outsider or those who would take advantage of it. Now, putting people aside completely the first thing you will want to do upon arriving is to get a feel for the place. The way our cities are built it can be easy to get lost as a newcomer, then you end up in a dark alley somewhere, and poof, trouble is brewing."

Talin chuckled, his eyes glinting cruelly for a bit before the cheerful mask came back; "They would find me... a bit too prickly. The ahhhh... first group I was in had some like that.... they learned quickly enough not to mess with me." Talin had not been an innocent naive boy like Ingwe; he'd been ready to kill and far harder to seduce! "Though I bet it'd be hard to get away with theft standing out as I do!" he looked around the inn, all dark skins, red eyes, dark hair to his pale skin, pale hair, and blue eyes. "Be a mite hard to pick pockets when everyone's eyeing you!" he murmured in amusement.
And he'd be working those places alone... Best I hold off on trying oban crime for now! Stick to my banditry till I get to know the obans, their fighting styles, culture and rules.... That way I will know how to blend in.. or at least where to hide should things go wrong!
"But I like dark alleys!" He said with a wide innocent grin. "All sorts of fun happens there!"

Bushi gave a smile, "Good to hear that you're good taking care of yourself, self relience it a useful skill to have in our line of work." A network was well and good, as were all the clients and suppliers you could put together, but when it came down to it one had to be able to take of themselves he thought for an idle moment, then gave a smile, "You do stick out, it will cause you some issues to be sure, but at the same time it might very well bring you some attention as well of the good sort. There will very likely be those who come to deal with you because you 'new and different', those who weren't a part of the war and therefore not bitter about the way it ended." Those like Bushi himself.
As Talin pointed out his enjoyment of dark alleys due to the fun that could happen there Bushi couldn't help but to chuckle a bit, "Well, I suppose that is true, but that is also where people tend to pull knives and pick fights. Just be sure you know what you're getting into when you venture into such places. I'd hate to lose a valuable contact like you before we are even able to get anything established between us."

Talin chuckled at the mention of knives and fights... yes that was why he loved dark alleys! Odds were he'd be the one robbing any idiot who tried to knife him in an alley! he thought confidently as he lifted up his mug.
"To a profitable relationship?" He smirked; he'd found someone useful! Someone who could probably price the goods they took as well as fence them.
And perhaps he could find others willing to trade information as well... like routes and caravan information! It was always best to have several sources and not rely upon one.

Settling comfortably in his seat Bushi nodded, filling up their mugs once more with the strong alcohol that he'd been sharing with Talin to this point. Once his mug was full he lifted it, giving a big grin, "To a profitable relationship." He echoed, all for this working out in a manner that would benefit them both. After tapping his mug against that of his new friend he lifted it to his lips, drink deeply. He would enjoy his last drink of Oban alcohol as he was heading north after this meeting to see about opening up that area for business, something he was more then eager to do.
