As he held his hand out for her to take after he had stood up she blinked. The action, though it wasn't an intimate one, caused the blush in her cheeks to remain. Still, Syqvara took it so that she could get to her feet. Once on them she avoided eye contact as she mumbled a stuttered thanks and did her best to look around. As if expecting the book to be in plain sight she looked around her feet and his, making sure she hadn't over looked it. It was quite possible since she had been stunned by the sudden meeting the two had had.

Dezani looked around as well, hoping the book would be close by and she wouldn't have to worry much longer. It couldn't have gotten far right? They had collided pretty hard, but he was sure it hadn't been hard enough to send it too far. Maybe it had blended in with the grass or something. With Tale it was possible. There was enough flora around to loose anything they had. -Maybe it is in the grass? Or in the forest?- he wrote to her, showing once he was done. There was plenty of grass and trees around it could have blended into. Or maybe it was right in front of them and they didn't realize it.

She heard him scribbling in his journal and turned her head to face him in time to see the book turned toward her. Syqvara read the words then quickly glanced at the trees around them. Thanks to his suggestion she spotted it by a tree trunk and half jogged over to it. Scooping it up she'd hold it close to her chest and give a sigh of relief. Slowly walking back to Dezani she'd offer a meek smile before she held her hand out for his journal. She wanted to write down her thanks. Sy was under the assumption that the boy couldn't speak, due to something with his vocals, so she felt replying in the same way he did was only polite.

"Dezani," he forced out, blushing as he said something to her. He hated speaking more than anything, but he wanted her to know his name at least. Even if he never saw her again. His blush darkened as he reached for his journal, scribbling out a more involved response to her than just uttering his name. -My name is Dezani. What is yours?- he questioned, hands gripping his journal a little tightly as he held it up to her. He was nervous enough as it was, but what if she thought his name was silly or something worse? Perhaps he should have just kept his name secret or not said anything about names so they wouldn't have to introduce themselves.

Hearing him actually say something made her blink in astonishment. So his voice did work. When she saw him blush she then understood. Sy smiled at him as she read the words he wrote down next. "Syqvara." The intense blush she had been sporting seemed to have finally died down now, but there was a constant pink in her cheeks. "T-thank you. I-I don't k-know what I'd h-have done i-if I lost the b-b-ook." The object was still being held tightly.

Dezani nodded, patting his own journal. If he had lost it he would have felt the same way. He didn't know exactly how much the book meant to her, but it was obvious it was at least somewhat important. Things like that were irreplaceable, and he would have felt terrible if either of them had lost their precious objects. Smiling slightly, the blush in his cheeks continued to stick around as he wrote more. It was nice to finally meet someone who understood how hard it was to be around people and actually communicate with them. -I was happy to assist in your search. No one should lose something precious to them.-

Now seeing that Dezani chose to communicate through writing rather than speaking, she leaned in as he scribbled. Upon seeing his words she nodded her head. "O-oh yes. I-it belongs t-to a f-fr-friend." She was only borrowing it. So it was precious to her as well as someone else. Taking a deep breath she would release it slowly, unable to express her thanks in the help he'd given. Without his idea she might have been searching for a while. Syqvara hadn't even considered that it could have moved that far away. "D-do you l-live near here?" At the moment she couldn't recall seeing him, but if he was as nervous as she thought then he might have avoided being seen by others to save himself from the embarrassment of interaction.

Oh he wished he did. Yera was far larger than Isd, and much more welcoming to him than the home he shared with his father. At least no one knew him in Yera. Except for this girl now. Shaking his head, he pulled out a small map his father had drawn out and pointed to the little point where Isd was. "There," he spoke softly, barely loud enough for her to hear him. How he managed to speak without passing out was beyond him by this point, but he was trying his best to at least say small things to the girl. It was all he could do at the moment.

Curiously she watched as he pulled out a map. It was interesting to see. Syqvara could only imagine what other places were like. So far the farthest she had been outside of Yera was about two hundred feet and even that made her anxious. When Dezani spoke again Sy smiled at him. "D-do you n-not like to t-talk?" Her question was innocent but she quickly added to her words so that he wouldn't think she was being rude. "I-I mean, y-you don't have t-to if you d-don't wanna. I-I can r-read what you wr-write." Oh great. She stumbled all over that. Syqvara's cheeks seemed to blaze to life all over again and she cleared her throat so that she could look away from the boy. Focusing instead on the map he had. "I w-would love to t-travel." If she could get the courage to do such a thing, that is.

-It makes me nervous and I get panic attacks. Better to just not speak than go through that every single time I encounter someone.- he wrote, trying to explain it to her. -What about you? It seems like you dislike talking as well.- He didn't know why he was willing to explain this to her, but he was at least slightly relaxed around her to the point of being able to freely write things to her. Progress in his book, though most would still think nothing of it. He had filled several pages writing to Syqvara, something he hadn't done with anyone in a good while, and he found it quite nice to see someone else's handwriting in his precious journal for once.

When he gave his response she brought her light green eyes up to meet his as a soft smile took place. Syqvara understood that completely. "S-same.. I-I just never t-thought about wr-writing." Though she supposed it would have been an interesting thing to do. How would her twin react to that, she wondered. With a soft laugh she'd shake her head. "I-I don't d-d-do too bad after I-I know the p-person." Though that took a long time, usually. The exception had been... Her gaze fell to the book in her hand. Why had she been so comfortable with her new friend? Was it because she had tried to help him when she thought he was hurt? It was best left to another time to figure out. Knowing now that Dezani wasn't from this area she'd look around quickly before bringing her eyes back to settle on him. "A-are you h-here to visit s-s-someone?" Maybe he had family near by? Or a friend?

"No," he replied softly, hands nervously clutching his journal tightly in one hand. He knew if his father found out he had taken a detour he would be extremely unhappy with him, but he had just wanted to see Yera. His father never let him do anything he didn't approve of. This was the first time he had gone against his father's wishes and it felt wonderful. He began to write again, holding it out to the girl once he was done. -I'm not visiting anyone. I just wanted to visit Yera. I've never been here before.-

Sy waited until he was done writing. What she read made her smile at him again. "O-oh! It's nice here." Turning her head to look back the way she had come before rudely walking into him, she couldn't help but give a small chuckle. "My mother m-moved us here years ago." Now that she had gotten used to Dezani, and knew that he was just as nervous as she, if not more so, her stutter going away. Syqvara was comfortable now, but that didn't mean her cheeks would lose their pink color. "You a-are welcome to visit anytime. I c-could show you around." She brought her eyes back to him.

Dezani smiled brightly at the mention of being shown around. He wanted to see everything he could, and if she knew where everything was he would gladly follow her around to see all that he could. Wandering around an unfamiliar place was never a good thing when one didn't know where they were going, and he definitely wouldn't. He would be completely lost, especially with how large Yera really was compared to Isd. He would hate to bother the girl, but if she was offering he would take her up on the offer without a doubt. It was much safer traveling with a companion of some sort. -I would like that. If it was okay with you?- It always made him nervous to ask for assistance when doing something, even if the person had offered. He absolutely hated being a bother to anyone, and his father always wanted him to do things on his own. Whether it was because that was best or if it was simply his father being the way he was, he never really knew.

Seeing him write that he liked the idea made her smile widen. It made her feel good that she had offered, even if she was embarrassed. "O-of course." Syqvara gave a nod of her head. Reaching up, the girl would push her hair behind her ear, moving the bangs away from her eyes. "W-what are friends f-or?" It was here she gave a small chuckle, though it seemed more to cover her shyness about calling the boy a friend. In truth Sy wasn't even sure he wanted to call her such a thing. Clearing her throat she'd look away from him and study the book in her hands. "J-ust let me know when you'd l-like to look around." Did he want a tour now or maybe when he came back? If he came back. Since he didn't live in the area she was unsure of whether or not he'd want to travel all the way back to Yera.
