Silver Gryphon I do believe I remember your mother making a surprise appearance in the G CORP Fanthread, Shok. XD She lurks there a lot, actually. =0 She thinks we're all hilarious. Well the account she entered in was Animanic, but she has another. xD I just can't remember what the name is!

Me too. xDD I'm pretty sure she thinks you're nifty, I mean, she's met worse people. =0 The rule in our house is, and has always been 'Don't kill yourself'. And that was like, the only rule. xD You gotta imagine what effect that'd have on a 7 year old right? ...I remember climbing on the top of our shed to pick mulberries... |D

I mean, things like banning sports day, because their little darlings might fall over on the grass, or get mildly upset because someone beat them. xp My parents walked barefoot on the street, rode bikes all day without a mobile phone to let their parents call them at any time, jumped off cliffs in lakes, swam in ponds, and so did all their freinds. Probably less people that generation died than this generation, because of being able to assess risks for themselves when they needed to, rather than not being able to at all.

I was watching TV with my grandmom over spring break, and there was something on the news about "the DANGERS of socializing online!" I was very happy to hear Grandmom agree with me that if anything bad happens to you because you were talking to strangers online, or agreeing to meet them in real life, it's because you're stupid and don't think, and not because of any inherent danger of THE INTERNET. In fact, she was happy to hear that it's easy for me to find safe places to chat with other people my age, or with similar interests, online. Shok, I'd get your mom a present but the only item she has on her wishlist is unreleased. "Don't kill yourself?" That's a pretty good rule. My sister has an account on Gaia, but we mostly keep to ourselves, except for PMing each other or sending gifts. She's into Minishops; she's come into the G CORP Fanthread once or twice just to say hello. Over Christmas break, we would PM each other from our rooms (we have a wireless connection at home now), despite being within less than shouting distance of each other. Hee!

If my mom even GLANCED at GD, she'd have a heart attack. oo; I'm so glad she knows next to nothing about Gaia...I'd be banned from the computer for the rest of my life. If she sees ANYTHING even HINTING at sex, she's all "OMFG SEX, MUST SHIELD MY SIXTEEN YEAR OLD FROM THIS EVIL EVIL PRACTICE" And yet I have to listen to her and her boyfriend go at it every night. Ugh. ><;
My sister has an account on Gaia. Can't remember what it is, and I have no idea if she still uses it. If she doesn't, I want her Kikiii. But I can't ask her; I'm not talking to her.

O__O ...I think I knew this already, didn't I? >__> But, yes, big brother. xD Most of the time I look and act like a guy, so when little people meet me, they don't know better. =0 For instance, I was wearing when a bunch of her friends came over, and the ones that didn't know me thought I was a guy. xD My mom's posted everywhere from the ED to the chatterbox; so I'm pretty sure she's used to the Gaianess here. =0
