Like who and who are dating, who and who are on bad terms, etc." Shu sighed, "I wanted to be a kitten too and play with other kittens!" The pouty face reflected how desired she really wanted that to happen. "Someone took some pictures of the hunter kittens, they are ALL SO CUTE!"

Magic, it really existed, and they were experiencing it.

Shu beamed, "Of course I will, it's easy, you just need to think of a name to use. Like mine, I use cuddly little bud as my username. You don't need to be on it all the time, sometimes people use it for venting anger and emotions, so it might make you unhappy. Anyway, it's a good place to ask for spar, finding someone to help or simply ask for answer for your question." It's more like, let the others to know your existence and leave an impression.

The petite huntress took the hands of another girl and started hopping mildly. 'We can't lose our hope, right Mimi?" Her honey colored eyes were bright and warm, face a bit blushed for the thought. "Bunnies would be cute, kittens aren't bad too! As long as it's something fluffy and cute!" The question halted her step, "I think Mr. Thomspon keeps those pictures, he was the only one not changing to kitten at that time, so he managed to take photo. He's an experimented Moon hunter, he's nice and specialized in helping newbies. The newbie package was his idea and he was in charge of it." Talking about another hunter she liked or admired was a thing she enjoyed.

Little kitties with coats and scarfs, sadly it wasn't the story, clothing items too loose to hold onto their small bodies were left behind. When they changed back, oh, a pile of naked bodies.

Magic, it was. But there was only a few times it ended well.

"Of course you can!" Shu didn't understand why she asked, she would be anyone's friend. "Besides me, you will follow and being followed by a bunch of people! So that you know what they say, like celebrity's twitter but better." She tilted up her head and pushed up the bridge of her pink glasses, as if she was a cool celebrity wearing shades.

Shu wasn't much of a senpai role model, but she was informative in some aspects, she also loved talking and making friends. If you asked, she answered. "On twitter! But if you want to find him in person, he's a Moon hunter. I-am-not sure if he still lived in the basement, you have to ask him by yourself. He loves cat, so don't worry, people love cats won't be bad people, right?" She winked with confidence.

They all hoped the peaceful days would last forever and they never get the chance to see the dark sides of what being a hunter meant. The cruel world said no, Shu had already gone through some suffering and soon it would be Mimi's turn. She hoped the girl would stay strong and keep her cheerfulness no matter what.

Deus was indeed full of beautiful people, that was what Shu thought when she left the pod to join others. "Hmm, give me a second." She picked out her phone and slid on the screen, "That's his full name. I don't know how to pronoun it, sorry." She pointed at Taym's profile with his full name after she figured out Mimi might not know his name.

"I live in the basement as well, if you have time, you can knock on my door and come in to play. I have a lot of cute plushies in my room!" Shu suggested. "Even the basement isn't well equipped, my best friend was there and I don't want to move up floor. Ah, when you get promoted, you can choose to leave the basement room and get a better room upstairs." She pointed a finger upward, as if they were in the basement. "The biggest problem of the basement floor is the lighting, but I know some nice guys are working on it to set up runic lanterns."

After she talked about the basement, her mind jumped onto another thing. "Ah Mimi, you know you have leaves right?"

"YES! Plushie!" She imitated Mimi's excited voice. "I've a collection of arpakasso, a line making cute alpaca plushies." In her little basement room, rows of plushies were stuffed onto her tiny bed. Shu had to give spaces for them, luckily she had a habit of curling up in sleep, protecting herself from nightmares that visited. It was her little defending castle since she was alone.

Probably guessed what Mimi thought, she giggled. "They'll be done by guys, so don't expect too much." She did feel it would be great if the basement was lit properly, at least less creepy she hoped. She never forgot she scared Otto when she sleep-walk on the corridor of the basement.

She nodded at her puzzled tone, wondered why she looked so confused. "Yup leaves, we have some leaves every month that we don't need to do anything but the things we want to do only. You can go to Disneyland, a nice date, Aquarium, camping and such." She listed a few of examples. "Like before Christmas, we'll have one day leave to buy Christmas present."

She nodded as excited as Mimi's voice, "Yes alpaca, I started my collection again in my room. If I don't bring them with me, they're gonna be thrown away." She made a bitter smile, feeling hard to talk about her past. "They're so fluffy and cute, can't resist not to cuddle with them. I wish to see the real thing one day, maybe feeding them." She didn't have a home anymore, Deus was her home. She bet all the stuff she left behind was disposed, they didn't want any single clues of her in the room. They disowned her on that day.

"As hunters, I think they learned that durability is much more important than aesthetics." Shu seemed to read what another girl was thinking.

She smiled, "Uh huh. Where do you want to go in your leaves?" and cracked up. "Nope, they're kind enough to give us a full free day to do the shopping. We use our own money for the presents. My list was so long that the following weeks I only eat breads for meals." It sounded so stupid but she felt so worthwhile as long as they are happy.

"Want to do some cheap stuff hunting together when you've money?"

The hug was almost suffocating but also warm, Shu loved hugs and body contacts. If she was allowed, she would cling to people when she talked. Feeling the warmth made her smile bigger. Using the hands hugged the huntress back, she patted gently for a few times on Mimi's back. "Shhhh it's okay, I rescued them and took them with me, they're now occupying my bed happily."

When there were two cheerful souls, one had to calm down or the world will explode. Thus, Shu, as a senior took the role. "Of course you can! We can! Making functional paper lanterns gonna spend longer than plain lanterns, so be lenient~"

She nodded and smiled at the same time, "Disneyland's great, I went there at Halloween, I took so many photos, especially the pumpkins with different expressions. They're so cute! Aquarium......I haven't been to there for a long time. I remembered the peacefulness I feel looking at the marine world behind the big wide glasses and the calming blueness. I wonder if the aquarium in Europe would be different. A petting zoo? Is it a different thing from normal zoo?"

There was at least one place she went, so it wasn't a surprise list for Shu. She wasn't sure the reason she suggested eating bread together, her guess was Mimi loves breads. "I'd love to, I love breads that are soft and resilient, like it bounces back when you press a finger on it. What kind of breads you like most?"

Shu gently patted Mimi on her head, "If you wanna try, I can find some guides and all the needed ingredients." She smiled, paper lanterns, they used to make it during the Mid-Autumn Festival where the full moon can be seen at the night, bright and beautiful. Making them was similar to making paper snowflakes, you cut holes on the paper so that candle lights can strike through, but paper is flammable thus they would use colorful glass papers instead. It was some happy memories.......

"In exchange, you teach me how to carve a pumpkin?" She never do it, because Chinese traditions didn't include that but it always seemed fun when she saw one, lit under warm candle lights, smiling.

The eyes brightened with sparkles, "Do they have BUNNIES?" Bunnies were not farm animals but they were soft and docile. She didn't need to be afraid they would run away from her. "So it feels like feeding minipets?" As she would expect, small animals and minipets were similar, even though the material they are made of were utterly difficult. Shu didn't know Mimi is thinking bears and tigers, who knew she was the type who waved in front of the cages all excited.

"Pineapple buns?" She blinked, "The one with real pineapple or the one looks like one?" Her confusion faded away as Mimi mentioned about chocolate croissants. "Like Molten Chocolate Pudding?! It must taste great!" She then leaned back and mused. "Hmm, I like sweet stuff so I don't have a preference, but Donuts if it counts as breads, also cranberry bread, small and round. I love pancakes and toasts and crepe too, my friend can make awesome pancakes!" Her face blushed with bliss, when she recalled the taste of the amazing pancake.
