"Student form?"
Mimi started to imagine private school uniforms, a really prestigious school, sakura blossoms drifting in through an open window during a cool spring breeze...
The daydream drifted away when Ace mentioned being caught.
"Caught? You mean... we kidnap them?!"
Mimi was horrified. Oh no! Had Dae been caught too? What if she didn't want to be a weapon anymore? That... that was terrible!
"Can... can they never go back to being their student form? Are they stuck as weapons forever?!"
She totally forgot about the concept of weapon golems.
Sorry Ace, Mimi was just a bundle of emotions. Pure, uncontained emotions.
"They are! They're um, really spooky! Not like normal witches that ride brooms and have cats. One of them ate... ate one of the magical girls..."
Mimi remembered bawling over Mami's death. Mami had been her favourite, next to Sayaka.
But then they stopped talking about sad stuff and Mimi beamed at Ace.
"Of course!"
She didn't know who wouldn't appreciate Ace-san's taste because Ace-san was really cool, but then again, protagonists were often misunderstood. At least they always had some friends that understood, and Mimi would be one of them!
She might have forgotten they were supposed to be taking this fight seriously until Ace mentioned a charge attack, and Mimi blinked.
It probably should be a little troubling that this thought didn't worry Dae, but Mimi was glad Ace was giving her pointers.
"O-ok!"
She raised her sword, trying to fend the attack, but ended up being pushed back regardless, falling.
"Oof!"
Well, that wouldn't deter her. She won't give up! She would take the opportunity and... trip over her sword.

"Not bad actually, you didn't fly away." Ace said a word of comfort, true and gentle. Mimi's imagination might be right, except no uniforms and the sun was a pumpkin. "Sadly it seems to be that way. Once became a weapon, they can never return to their previous shape and it was a new form of life for them." He shrugged, they couldn't remember so Ace can't ask Catherine about it. "They can't remember their past lives anyway, so not a big deal." "Wow, that doesn't sound like normal magical girl show." He commented, one of the characters being eaten should be inappropriate for kids. "If we have time, show me that later, I'm interested." Maybe he was interested in the scene how the magical girl being eaten, maybe it was Mimi's interpretation that kinda enticing. Damage: 2 HP: 31/ 40 Charge: 1/3

Mimi giggled.
"I can't fly. I don't have wings! But thank you~"
She wished she had wings though. That would be SO COOL.
It was sad that the weapons could never go back to the way they were again. And they couldn't remember their past lives too? That was... that was horrible! Mimi was sure she would be really sad if she suddenly forgot Mama and Papa.
Is it true that you can't remember, Dae-sama?
It didn't seem like her weapon was keen on sharing about her past life regardless.
"Ok! We can watch it together!!"
Nevermind the fact that she had probably re-watched it at least 5 times. It was just that good, dark stories and all. Maybe Mimi just secretly had a fascination with dark things.
Her enthusiasm helped with her offense, at least, as she got a decent attack in.

"Nice hit." Ace winked. "Nah, I didn't mean fly with wings but more like flung off the ground." He laughed and then shrugged. "Hey don't make that face, I like girls smiling." He drew a curve on his face with fingers in gloves. He raised up a thumb, "deal~" but he forgot the scythe was in his hand, it dropped. Before it touched the ground, he grabbed it again. < Ace, don't scratch my beautiful body~♡> Sorry sweetie. He stuck his tongue out. "Oops." As long as she won't ask him to eat sweet things, he could be fine marathoning with the sun trainee. He had do some movie marathon with his girlfriend in the past. Damage: miss HP: 28/ 40 Charge: 1/3

B-but he is! He said 'nice hit!' And that I didn't fly off the ground!
B-but..
Dae-sama, so mean...
Well, at least someone appreciated her smiling face, even if it wasn't her grumpy weapon.
"O-oh! Um, t-thank you. I like smiles too!"
Mimi blushed, and then smiled again. Smiling faces were much better than frowns. She also remembered mama telling her it took more muscles to frown than to smile, so that meant smiling was easier and more natural, right?
When he dropped his scythe, Dae decided this was the perfect time to strike.
But-
Her weapon flashed, and Mimi squeaked. It... it wasn't polite to attack someone when they weren't on guard!
The clashing emotions between the hunter and weapon caused the charge to backfire, blasting Mimi back instead.

He nearly bit his tongue when Mimi struck but then the backfire got her badly. "Are you okay?" He asked, didn't drop his defense this time. And when braced up again, he ended the fight without breaking her shield. The thrust of the scythe, if the backfire didn't deprived her from all the energy, ended the fight. "Let's end here, shall we?" The scythe's curve that was on her neck was dropped and the tall guy smiled. "It wasn't my first spar so don't mind the loss." "I like your smile, it tastes like sweet honey, feels like warm sunlight." He sat on the grass, it was a nice day, the best weather to take a nap. Shortly, he couldn't withstand the amazing atmosphere and he threw himself onto the softness and laid there, eyes squinting like a big lazy feline. Damage: 3 HP: 28/ 40 Charge: 2/3

But Daeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I'm tired, and-
She should have been on guard, but she wasn't. She registered Ace's voice, and was about to respond, but turned to stare at a scythe mere inches from her neck.
"Eek!"
Thank goodness it wasn't.
She let out a sigh of relief when the scythe was lowered, and Mimi nodded, heart still beating rapidly.
"I-I'm ok. Yes..."
Perhaps she just needed more practice. Ace-san seemed like he was already pretty good at fighting.
His compliment made her blush, and she wasn't sure if maybe the weather was starting to get warmer, but she felt her face heat up.
"T-thank you..."
She turned to see Ace lying down on the grass, and couldn't help giggling.
"Are you sleepy?"

"Nope, more like energy saving." The man squinted comfortably like a big lazy feline. "You know, saving the energy for the fun time. I can't be as energetic as you do all the time." Ace explained, patted the area next to him. "It would be a waste not to take a nap with such nice weather though." said the man who took a side glance at Mimi. She seemed like she didn't need to visit the infirmary, so he invited her to sit down and rest with him. After getting some sweats, the gentle wind felt the greatest. He unraveled his braid to free his hair, it was a bit long and he didn't mind it would be a mess to care after he got up. "Don't stand there, you have duty later?" He grabbed on her wrist and applied a gentle pull-down force. [A.V.] Such a cute girl! I love the pink and the heart under her eyes <3333

Hmm, this was a concept Mimi had never thought of before, though she supposed lying down was like, having a nap, with your eyes open!
"Heehee, ok!!"
She was about to sit down, but suddenly Ace pulled her down, and she plopped down beside him, watching as he undid his braid. She was tempted to play with his hair, but wasn't sure if he would like it. Girls often liked playing with other girl's hair, but did guys like it when girls played with their hair?
It was hard to resist the temptation, and she settled for fiddling with her own hair instead. She wished she had brushed and braided it before coming out.
"Oh, no! I don't think so..."Meegane Awww, thanks ; u ; Zoo did an amazing job with her ahhhhhh

"Great!" He grinned happily. "It's so peaceful today. No mission, no duties......" Ace yawned and stretched relaxed, pulling up his tank. His abs wasn't as eye-catching as the Sun division staff but it was good looking. He turned aside to support his head and looking at Mimi lazily, "Let's chat a bit before I fall asleep. What species is your sword?" His hair freely fell on his shoulder, "Do all the girls love ribbons? What color do you like most?" He reached out the free hand to touch the dangling end of the hair ribbon. [A.V.] /pats her little cute head

Mimi totally hadn't been staring when Ace pulled up his shirt, nope.
She turned away out of respect, blushing slightly.
However, mention of Dae made her whip her head back, eyes sparkling at the hunter.
"She's a demon! Well, um, I guess technically a dark elf."
Mimi wasn't too sure about all the categories, and thought elves would be monsters, but Dae-sama had vehemently argued that she wasn't a "lowly monster".
Oh! Mimi hadn't realized she had left a ribbon in her hair. Maybe she had tried to do her hair but had given up.
"Well, I can't say for ALL girls, but I love ribbons! Pink is my most favorite colour! But I also like blue, and gold, and white, and... well, I like ALL the colours!"
She threw her hands up as if to emphasize her great love for colours, and nearly hit Ace in the face.
"O-oh! Gomen!"
She quickly pulled her hands to herself, face turning red. Papa had often told her she needed to control her enthusiasm sometimes.

"Uh-huh." Ace made a lazy reply not even open his mouth because a yawn followed. "Oh dark elf. The dark elf in games are hot, I bet she's hot then." The cozy big feline, maybe a black panther said with a playful tone. "Remember to poke me when you put her in a golem, I'd love to compare that with the image in my mind now." He gently raised a hand and pointed to his head with a smirk. The tall man didn't mind but laughed in light chuckles, "You just almost hit me. Catherine, my weapon, loves ribbons too, the most often image she gave me was two big ribbons on her curly hair of pastel rainbow. She loves pastel colors, I guess. Haha she just said that she approved of your good taste." He reached out to touch her cheek with the back of his un-gloved hand, feeling the heat. "Girls blush a lot, Mimi, do you have a fever frequently?" They surely blushed often that he doubted if that would cause a small fever. [A.V.] <333333 finally back to tagging

Dae was not familiar with how these "dark elves" were portrayed in trivial fleshling entertainment, but she did approve of being called hot. Despite losing to this human, perhaps he was not so bad.
Mimi couldn't help giggling.
"Dae-sama says she'll make sure she reminds me."
She was excited to see as well.
"S-sorry!"
Oh, she was so ashamed of herself. But still, she couldn't help but be giddy being praised by Ace's weapon. Ribbons were the best!
She did jump slightly when Ace touched her cheek, blushing once more.
"Oh, no! At least not a lot."
There was that one time she had caught the flu and was bed-ridden for two weeks, and another time when the whole school had caught some sort of bug, but other than that... nope, nothing else.
"Mama says blushing is a sign of healthiness."
Well, it WAS something frowned upon in her culture, but Mama had told her blushing meant you had healthy blood in your body and that was good.

Ace was amused with Mimi's mom theory of blushing, he laughed lightly. "Is that so? Then I'm probably not so healthy since I seldom blush." He paused to take a glance at the huntress. "But you're surely a healthy girl." The arm lazily raised up again and its target was Mimi, he dragged the girl closer, eyes closed comfortably. "Can I borrow your laps?" The neon eyes opened, smiling.

Mimi laughed.
"Aww, that's not true~ You're really tall, and strong! I think boys blush less because they don't like blushing. At least, that's what mama told me."
She remembered how some girls at school teased a boy when he blushed, and he got really grumpy, and denied that he was blushing. She wondered why though, because blushing was good... right?
She let out a squeak when Ace pulled her toward him, giving him a surprised look. Had she known just how much she had been blushing, she would have questioned it too. She didn't normally blush this much.
"U-um, ok!"
