Nyx

Yes, of course he was stuck with the Team they hardly knew. With a sigh, Nyx continued down the hall, tails flicking irritably as he refrained from biting too hard into the delicate handle of the basket he carried. It smelled delightfully of freshly-baked bread and warm cinnamon, but the Vulpix’s face showed no sign of deriving any pleasure from that fact. He knew very well that the loaf of cinnamon bread tucked into the fabric was surrounded with an assortment of berries and other more exotic fruits, and that it had been one of the many projects that had left his kitchen a mess and the rest of his Team giddy with sugary holiday surprises that Neo had poured his heart into making. My family always had a huge winter celebration, and since I can’t share it with them this year, it seems like I should share it with my Guild family--don’t you think Nyx? Of course he’d allowed it, it wasn’t like he could protest something so harmless, but all this fuss about the holidays made him more than a little irritated at the excess of excitement that permeated the air at all times.

When he reached Team Venari’s Room, the Vulpix set his basket down and pulled the card from inside it, adjusting it as Neo had showed him so the text was readily clear for its recipients.

Happy holidays from our Team to yours!
-Team Essence

Well, he’d done his part. Hopefully the gift was well-received—despite the brevity of their interaction with Venari’s leader Neo had been adamant about getting something for her and her teammates as well. Whatever the case, Nyx didn’t plan to stick around to see for himself. With a quick knock on the door he would turn and briskly walk down the hall, leaving the holiday treats to be discovered on their own.
