However, the torrent of water had completely missed Demon. The Sandslash may have been a bit clueless about some things, but he was no idiot - when his opponent had started readying something that was obviously going to be big, he didn't stay still long enough to let it hit him - that would just be stupid. Instead, he darted to the Dragon-type's side and aimed for the legs, once again attempting to force him onto his back; this time, however, he had his second set of claws ready to stop him once he was in the position Demon wanted, the Ground-type intending to keep him from repeating that trick he'd done last time.
"Perhaps, but I'm not going to bet against my own team member, so that would make betting a little difficult, wouldn't it?" Nightmare noted cheerfully, watching with interest as the Dragon-type charged up an attack. When the torrent of water came, he used Phantom Force to evade any splash damage (pun fully intended), once again thankful for his Ghost-type heritage.

Nuna was not tall. Nuna was not quick. Nuna was not. Happy. She was covered in water, standing in water, and was coughing up water. Apparently she had moved in the wrong direction. She barely heard the comment of the fire type as she instead whipped her head over to the fight. Her eyes burned intensely with rage as she watched Demon successfully flip over and hold down the dragon.
"Let me go you fool!" Kennick was hissing and cursing, legs flailing awkwardly in the air. Any normal Pokémon would have submitted already, but the reptile was proving stubborn. In fact, he seemed to be going into a rage as he flailed wildly under the Sandlash's grasp.
Nuna took this opportunity. She activated the TM and felt herself gaining a new power.
"I just polished!" Nuna screeched as she threw the now useless device to the ground and lunged for the dragon, footsteps splashing though the inch of water on the floor. The little rock and steel type leaped up and jumped onto the overturned Pokémon's stomach, causing him to jolt to a halt in his fit.
"Nuna!? What are you-?" He was cut short as the Aron let lose an inwardly pulsating blast that brought the water around them crashing in, drenching the Pokémon underneath and not caring whether or not Demon got out of the way in time.
"Payback." She simply coughed out as she finished her attack, not being used to the attack and having inhaled a bit of water. Kennick had stopped moving so drastically, and had in fact become confused as a result of the attack. So instead of trying to figure things out, he just lay there in his befuddled state. Nuna looked over with a dangerous glare to the other Pokémon.
After a moment, her face split into a grin, "That was neat." With her revenge had, she pretty much forgot about why she had attacked in the first place.
((Well, Nuna now knows Water Pulse. I have no idea how TMs work in this universe, so I just made it like a magical thing that gives Pokémon powers, hehe.))

Demon blinked bemusedly from the corner he'd dodged to, tilting his head curiously as he examined the now-docile Shelgon and beaming Nuna; the Sandslash would probably have been more mad if that had happened earlier, but as it was, he'd already won anyway, and that display was quite impressive... "...Nuna-thing want join Team Savage?"
"Demon, I don't think we're allowed to poach members from other teams," Nightmare interjected, even more amused than usual at the preceding events.
The Shiny ground-type blinked in befuddlement. "Why no?"
"...Excellent point. Carry on." After all, the eternally grinning Ponyta mused, it wasn't like the Aron would actually accept the offer, and even if she did, he could just claim (genuine) innocence and watch the resulting chaos.

"....What? Really!?" Nuna exclaimed, looking between the two members of the other Team, not hearing Nightmare as she had been looking down triumphantly at Kennick. She hadn't really thought about leaving her current Team at all. If she could, maybe they would let her do what she wants! Unlike Cimm, these two seemed like pretty carefree Pokemon. But... "Wait.... What guild group are you in?"
Kennick, in the meanwhile, was still wrought with confusion from the pulse, though he could clearly hear the conversation. Even still, his brain couldn't quite process what the words being said meant and just tried to regain his focus and composure. Which was pretty much impossible considering his shameful position on his back with Nuna still standing on him. He could feel her weight through his shell, and that was saying something considering how sturdy he was. He let out a puff of air as his befuddled brain tried to cope with its imparted thoughts.
"You're so.... Fat!" was all he managed to let out. Not being able to think straight was making it hard to prioritize what he should be saying. Nuna only grunted when she heard this and gave a firm stomp to his plated stomach, causing the dragon to gasp as he felt the hit knock some air out of him.

"Team Savage fighting-group," Demon explained; he vaguely recalled that there was a name for it, but he couldn't remember it off the top of his head. "Good group - get paid to fight. Fun." Well, if his battle-lust hadn't been evident before, it certainly was now, if the glee in his voice when he mentioned fighting was any indication. "Nuna-thing seem like fit in well."
Nightmare just listened to the conversation with amusement, particularly enjoying the Shelgon's faux pas and resulting punishment. "Don't take offense to him calling you a thing - he does that to everyone," he supplied helpfully. "And Demon, I think the word you're looking for is 'mercenary'."
Demon brightened and nodded. "Right. Team Savage merk-en-aries," he confirmed, pleased that he knew the word now - really, why couldn't they communicate through fighting? It would be so much simpler - Demon liked simple.

Nuna huffed. Just her luck. "Well, no-can-do, then. Sounds like fun, but I like shiny things." she said simply, only realizing in passing that Demon had been calling her 'thing' when Nightmare mentioned it. She gave nicknames to others and called them weird things all the time, so she was used to it. "I'm a Treasure Hunter! If you guys were, too, I'd join ya fer sure!" With that she jumped off of the overturned Shelgon and landed with a slight splash in the water. Her words were true, too. Because if she could leave her Team then, well, why not? She'd probably have a lot more fun with another Treasure Hunting team, and they might actually let her keep the glittery objects she found, unlike her current Captain. But unfortunately Demon was in a team that didn't specialize in the precious items she was so interested in. Though she really couldn't understand why. For her, it only made sense to want gold, silver, jewels, and other pretty things. Weren't those the things that made life good?
Without her knowing, Nuna's jump off of Kennick had force behind it, and thus had given the dragon just enough momentum to roll himself over as a moment of clarity just happened to pass over him. As he felt his feet actually touch the wet ground, he staggered into a stand and tried not to go cross eyed with how dizzy he felt. Naseau overwhelmed him and he closed his eyes tightly shut in order to focus on not throwing up inside his shell. He would so get Nuna back for this. "....urp..." As soon as the world stopped spinning, that is.

"Oh... okay." Demon accepted her declination easily enough, understanding that not everyone loved fighting as much as he did. Why other Pokémon didn't like fighting as much as he did, on the other hand, was something he would never be able to get. "If change mind, can find us. Friends, though?" The Nuna-thing seemed nice enough, and Treasure Hunter or not, she seemed like someone who'd be good to know.
Nightmare, meanwhile, was taking amusement in Kennick's plight, casually moving his hoof around in circles in front of the Shelgon's face in an attempt to make it even more dizzy. Granted, that probably made him a sadist of some sort... but honestly, he couldn't bring himself to care - he found the situation far too funny.

Nuna didn't freeze or lock up physically, but somehwere in her mind she hesitated to answer. 'Friends' had never been her.... Thing. She just didn't like how complicated things got when others started expecting things from their friends. Friendship was something that took work, and she was far too uninterested in thinking about others feelings and her own feelings to deal with that. But... Demon seemed like a pretty easy fellow to get along with. He liked violent stuff. She could understand that. As long as she didn't have to worry about much else, then... "Sure, why not? Friends it is! she beamed behind her shiny metal mask, the only thigng to reveal said smile was her squinting eyes as she stood in front of Demon and nodded. "You tell me if there's a shiny thing, and I tell you if there's anyone I want you to beat up or fight. Deal?"
"F-friends...?" Kennick had muttered, cracking open his eyes as he managed to make sense of Demon's question. He would have given the Sandslash an incredulous look if her were capable. After all, why the heck would anyone want to be friends with such a simple brute? But he wasnt able to give such a look on account of the hoof circling in front of his face. The motion almost immediately made the dragon stumble backwards in an unbalanced manner. When was this confusion going to wear off!? "Stop it.... Ugh!" he grouched out angrily as he prepared to blast the Ponyta with another burst of water once he saw what the menacing looking Pokemon was doing. His double vision and the way the ground seemed to suddenly tilt to the right kept him from doing so, though.

Demon nodded, accepting the suggested arrangement; he had no use for shiny objects, and from the look of things Nuna-thing didn't seem to like fighting so much as she liked watching it - he could accept that, even if he still didn't understand why.
"No thank you; I find your current state too amusing," Nightmare answered simply, continuing to wave his hoof around in front of him - he was curious to see whether he could make the Shelgon puke.

As suddenly as the dizzy, confused spell had come, it disappeared from Kennick in the next moment. He stopped staggering about randomly and managed to ground himself. His double vision solidified and he was quite content knowing he could actually glare at Nightmare without wondering which image was the right one. He scoffed as he made sense of the Ponyta's words and let out a deep growl.
"Sorry that I couldnt 'amuse' you for longer." he grumbled angrily, all the while his eyes narrowing further and further as his smoldering gaze continued to keep ahold of the target. As much as he wanted to just lose it and force these no good hooligans out of his sight, he knew he was outnumbered. Even Nuna was on their side! So instead of continuing the pointless randomness, he tore his eyes away from Nightmare and head for the door. "I don't have the patience to spare for such disrespectful trash. Nuna, you'd better watch your back. Have fun explaining this to Cimmerian."
"I'll blame it on you if your not here!" Nuna laughed after the dragon, watching him leave and not give her a second glance. She huffed and shook her head. "All talk and no bite. But he has a point.... If Cimm catches the mess we made... she trailed off slightly, wondering just exactly the Luxio would do. He certainly wouldn't be happy. And with all the water in here he could probably pull some trick with his electricity or something sly like that. Though that wouldn't be a bother to she and Demon, Nightmare might now appreciate getting shocked. Nuna grunted involuntarily. This is why she didn't like thinking about others. There was just way to much to think about when it came to them.
So she turned to her fail safe; Thinking about herself. And what she knew, was that she didn't feel like getting into a big argument with the Luxio after stealing his TM. So... "Wanna go follow him and mess with him?"

"That sounds amusing, yes," Nightmare agreed, grinning as per usual. Of course, he wasn't exactly blind to the Aron's real reasons, but he could understand self-preservation. Still, he was only co-leader, so he glanced over at Demon to see what he thought.
Demon considered the suggestion a moment, then nodded. 'Why no?" After all, if they messed with the Dragon-thing some more, maybe they'd be able to provoke him into another fight?

"Then away we go!" She announced as she splashed through the lessening water. It seemed to be creeping through the cracks in the floorboards. She could only be glad that they lived on the first floor. If they were up on the second, who knows if someone would catch her mess and call to complain. The last thing she wanted was to be kicked out of the guild for something silly like water damage or something of that sort. Not that it was her fault. After all, Kennick was the one who blew up in the first place.
So without further ado, the Aron skipped towards the door that had been left wide open for quite some time now and turned to the left where the dragon had gone. "I wonder if this would be called dragon hunting?" She mumbled absently to herself.

Demon and Nightmare locked alongside her, the latter idly wondering why he had a sudden urge to cackle maniacally. "That is a distinct possibility, yes," Nightmare agreed amicably. "After all, with Demon involved this is almost certain to end in some sort of fight." Sure enough, the Sandslash was already getting a little twitchy with anticipation.

Air Stop number two. He’d decided to go for the difficult present over the exceedingly difficult present first, simply because he was partly dreading the risk associated with the last Team he was to visit. Air held a pie tin in his Meowstic paws, tail flicking nervously as he approached Team Moonlighters’s Room. He didn’t know any of Mana’s teammates, but he’d wanted to get something for the Ghost all the same; when Neo had heard that though, he’d insisted on doing something for the spirit’s whole Team because The more cheer we spread the better, silly! So Air had an unplanned apple pie which he set before the door nervously, quietly hoping that no one would find him out. He placed Neo’s card on top with its warm message facing the door.

It might have been strange if it were anyone else, but fortunately Neo had gotten something for everyone they’d ever met, which amounted to most of the Teams in the Guild. Even the ones they hadn’t were invited to take from the jar of candies Neo had put outside the door with a cheerful Season’s Greetings! Please take one! on its front, so it wouldn’t seem that odd if they looked into it, right? With a sigh, Air plucked a letter out of the air beside him and held it in his paws. It was the card he’d written to Mana but…there wasn’t really any way for him to get it to the Ghost without likely encountering one of the Gastley’s Teammates. Frowning, Air lifted the card with his Psychic and tucked it behind a light fixture on the wall. He made sure to allow the energy to linger for a moment before releasing it, so it would leave a trace that Mana would be able to find if the Ghost was feeling for any unusual signals in his surroundings, which Air was certain his friend made a habit of. Satisfied, the Ditto-Meowstic transferred his last gift to his paws and departed, knocking on the door and then hurrying off as quickly as he could. Hopefully Mana found his actual gift alright. The note Air had left was short and sweet.

Hope all’s going well with you, and I hope you and your Team enjoy the pie—my Leader really worked hard on it, he's trying his best to spread some holiday cheer around the Guild. Just wanted to say happy holidays to you too, and I hope we can chat again soon. Take care!
