When Starru shocked Hematite this time, she shuddered again, then her movements became stiff and jerky.
Lyle recognized the signs of paralysis and decided to do something about it. "Hematite, Haze!"
Hematite tried to release smoke into the air around her, but shuddered again before she could get out more than a wisp or two.

Baleno made a fist pump, " Yeah, good going Starru, this is your chance, keep up your shockwave!"
Starru nodded, doing as told and using another shockwave.

Lyle figured it wasn't worth trying Haze again. "Just go back to Ice Punch."
Hematite tried to make a fist and swing it again at the annoying squirrel.

Baleno wasn't sure how many times he could watch his pokemon suffer, he'd been ready to call it quits, but Starru still seemed rearing to battle.
He sighed out then smiled, " Okay then... Another Shockwave then!"

After Hematite was chocked again, she actually seemed to be moving better. She flexed her now-steady hands, then swung another punch.

Baleno watched as his poor pokemon was thrown to the ground once again. He sighed, figuring the poor pokemon had taken enough of a beating for one day.
" Alright!" he called out, stepping out into the ring, holding out his hands, " That's enough, let's call it quits, okay?" he gave the other a sheepish smile.
Starru's ears fell, looking towards his trainer sadly. He knew how excited his master had been for this battle, and felt like he'd let the other down.
Baleno moved over to his pokemon, picking him up, " Hey, you did just fine, these two are on a completely different level then us." he assured his pokemon, petting his head. " They're amazing." he looked back towards his opponent, smile still on his face.

Lyle smiled back and scratched the back of his head awkwardly. Yeah, that was probably true now, weird as it seemed. He looked over at the other trainer and said, "Thanks. Keep trainign and I'm sure you'll improve quickly."
With the battle done, he recalled Hematite then went off to get her healed.
