Kaori hummed as she and Nova followed behind Kaz, but only by a step or two. The two of them continued to look around the Jagged Scar. This was so similar, and yet so much more dangerous, than the average desert around and in Suna. They didn't let their guard down, but they weren't at the highest state of readiness either. "So, you;ve been working on your ninjutsu, what else have you been working on?" Kaori, asked, curious. She loved learning about how her shinobi improved themselves, but like she'd thought earlier in the day, Kaz had a special place in her heart.

Ash Spitter
The sweet teacher student moment was cut short as a blood curdling roar echoed through the desert and causing the ground to shake slightly. A large two headed canine like creature strolled in with burning eyes. The two had woken it up from its nap and caused it to become enraged to unimaginable heights. The ash spitter would open its maws and swallow its own fiery breath making the air shimmer in heat. Its gaze went to the young male before running at amazing speeds to tackle him and open its maws at either side of his body. One would take a bite into his left arm while the other was charging a fireball and was ready to fire.

His conversation with Kaori was interrupted by a extremely loud roar. Swinging around to face whatever it was that made the noise he had to prepare. Knowing how deadly this place was and his experiences here in the past he was faced with a creature he had not yet seen. Focusing his eyes on it he noticed it had already begun its charge. He had never seen an animal move so fast in his life. In desperation he dropped the spear and made a handseal fast enough for a shadow clone to appear in front of him. The clone had just appeared fast enough to get completely tackled by the beast quickly being dispersed back into thin air. It wasn't much of a tactic but it was better than himself taking the hit. Crouching down and grasping his spear he leaped back forming another spear in his free hand and chucking it at the beast with all his arms strength. Upon landing on the ground he started to remove his gloves with his teeth quickly tucking them to the side of his hip. Now that his hands were bear he had a fighting chance against whatever this monster was. Motioning over to Kaori and Nova with his open free hand he wanted them to stay back or at least behind him so that he could handle this beast. It might have been a bit bold but he said he would protect her and he kept his promises.
(OOC: He would request being able to take the beast on himself, of course if Kaori or Nova would not allow this from anything they have seen so far that's fine too. And all jutsu info are in the spoiler below.)
Kage Bunshin no Jutsu [Shadow Clone Technique] Rank: B Description: Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin.
Kenjutsu Javelin Launch Simple :: D-Rank The user grabs a javelin and hurtles it at the enemy. The technique extends ten additional feet in range for any strength the user has. If the user's strength is 0, the range would be ten feet. If their strength is 1, the range would be twenty feet. This continues to climb so on and so forth until the maximum strength which is ten.
Kenjutsu Shadow Javelin Training :: A-Rank The user can create javelin without actually having to purchase them. In fact, the user can even conjure javelin at [5] Chakra a piece without needing a javelin in the first place to imitate. Each javelin created consumes [5] chakra but is just as durable as a regular javelin. These javelin can even snap and be used in combat. They only vanish when the user dismisses them. A maximum of ten can be summoned at any one time. If you wish to summon more, than you must first dismiss the ten before. They serve all the purposes of a regular javelin

Kaori and Nova's ears twitched when Kaz motioned hem back. If it weren't for his asking to handle things before entering the Scar, Kaori would have taken offense to that. But as it was, she knew it was his pride in keeping his promises that he was dealing with, not a lack in faith in hers or Nova's abilities. She just nodded and stepped back, but she and her so far silent partner were ready to intervene if needed. "" .

As the shadow clone disappeared in the grasp of the ash spitter a low growl of annoyance emerged from its throat and caused its already hot skin to ignite revealing its annoyance. The ash spitter did not like to be fooled nor have its quarry treat it like a common animal to be toyed with. The head that contained the fireball would launch it to at the oncoming spears to give it some protection while the other would glare at the young man as if it was planning on removing the mans bones through some unpleasant means.
Trying to see what this beast would do next he took a stance built for speed seeing the incoming fireball that quickly burnt his spear into a crispy toothpick. Attaching the spear to his back again quickly he held both of his hands out to catch the fireball. The blast hit his palms and then quickly dispersed into his palms. The rear diamond tattoo on the back of his hands lit up bright red. His hands stinging slightly he had to disperse this chakra due to his foreign nature to his body. Gripping his forearm while keeping his one hand open he disperse 30 dark chakra needles at and around the beast about the size of 4 inch long senbon. Not having enough faith in the attack he had just launched he focused an immense amount of chakra into his legs after seeing how fast this beast really was. The energy given from the dragon gate felt more than he needed for such a battle. He had to pull out all the stops and give this his all. Taking a stance awaiting the beasts next move.

Kaori watched as Kaz fired off some dark needles, similar to senbon. She wanted to jump in and end this fight quickly, but she had promised Kaz she'd let him handle the small fry, and this should just barely be a challenge for her jounin. The Kazekage crossed her arms over her chest and looked down at Nova, "Wanna take bets on how fast he ends this?" She asked, curious as to her partner's thoughts on this particular bought. Nova rumbled something that would have been a laugh in a human, "I'm giving him thirty minutes." The tiger commented casually. Kaori laughed at her partner, but nodded.

Ash Spitter
The senbon didn't seem to pose much of a threat to the ash spitter as it leaped into the air nearly over the odd needles. Out of the thirty, ten either grazed or struck the ash spitter causing both heads to growl in anger. The beast wanted nothing more than to devour this man then move on to the woman and her tiger or to return to its den and sleep. The ash spitter charged again upon landing and began to charge two fireballs but with a slightly different feel.

Kaz was about to show the fruits of his training he has never yet combined until now. His lady was watching his performance and he also had to deal with this creature. He wanted to make sure his body could handle this new type of speed he was about to achieve. He didn't like going barehanded but this time he had no choice. Attaching his spear to his back he drew his hands to his side focusing more chakra through his body gaining an additional burst of speed flowing through him. Almost seeming like the effort it would take to jump would take him to the clouds. Focusing his eyes onto the beast he burst off he ground kicking up a tremendous amount of sand in his wake leaving a large trail of it through his sprint. Closing in on the beast he leaped into the air gaining about 20 yards into the air while leaping another 10 yards while in the air for additional height. He wanted to be high enough to align the sun behind him during his descent. He was unsure of how the creatures eyes worked or if the sunlight even bothered it, but it was better to do than nothing when approaching from the air. Reaching for one of his mini shurikens so he could have at least something small to gain its attention during the decent. Throwing it full speed towards its face. His movement speed on top of his throw made it moving at a decent speed. He remained ready focusing on it as he fell towards the beast. If he needed to jump again in the air he was ready to.
Shijin [ Leg Speed ] Description: After being trained in both defense and attack the user legs have become use to moving at a fast pace so you are able to run faster than you normally would. +2 to speed when chakra activated. Lasts for 2 posts. - 5 chakra
Hyper Jump Training :: C-Rank The user is now capable of performing a triple jump while in mid-air. They will be able to jump several times using their boost jump if they so choose. Each jump costs a total of [5] Chakra when used. When they land back on the ground, they suffer no recoil damage. -5 chakra

Kaori raised an eyebrow at Kaz's thought process. It could prove to be very effective though, given the circumstances. She shared a look with Nova and smirked. She was slowly starting to be more and more impressed with Kaz and what he was doing as a mere Chunnin. "I don't know about you, but I'm starting to be impressed." Nova huffed and and waved a paw around as Kaori used her control over wind to create a small dome of air around them to protect them from the dirt and sand being kicked up and thrown around, "You can be impressed. He got sand in my fur, do you know how hard that is to get out?!" Kaori just laughed at her partner.

The ash spitter would look up to the man as he flew into the air but would feel one of its heads squint as it rarely ventured from its cave. As the shuriken flew the ash spitter didn't notice untill it imbedded itself firmly in its left heads right eye. The pain came as a shock as it just howled and ran to where Kaz would land and fired a fired a fire ball to the shinobi and a smaller one behind it that would pack a punch.
Still rapidly falling towards the beast he smiled some when he saw it discharge a large fireball. Making a few handseals while Charging raiton chakra into his right hand it began to spark violently. He took his hand and held it high above his head as he fell rapidly towards the beast. He could only see the large fireball so his first thought was to absorb this one as well. Holding his left hand out as the fire touched it he felt some slight burns in his hand as it sucked into his tattoo. Once that was pulled in he trusted his hand forward to launch his chadori spear while discharging the katon chakra stored in his tattoo into the air. Not being able to contain that chakra proved annoying but something he would just have to deal with. To his supprise the beast had fired off a smaller fireball behind the last. He was unable to absorbe this one so he would just have to sacrifice some of the strength of the attack against the beast. The chadori spear went flying towards the beast and fireball. This would pierce through it like a knife through butter. It would still be traveling just as fast towards the beast.

Chidori Eisou (Thousand Birds Sharp Spear) Rank: A Requires Chidori Description: Chidori Eisou is a Lightning Element technique developed by Uchiha Sasuke. Sasuke is able to shape the Lightning Element to form an extending spear of lightning. Though unstated, this spear probably takes on Chidori's characteristics, including it's ability to cut through anything which stands in its path, allowing the sword to strike its target with ease. This attack may also be similar to Chidori Nagashi, causing the target to go numb from the electrical charge.

Kaori watched as Kaz jumped high into the air, then as the ash spitter fired off a massive fireball at her Chunnin. Kaz merely absorbed it, however, but that was when she saw the second fireball and she frowned, concerned. She knew that Kaz couldn't absorb twice in a row like that. Nova looked over at Kaori, then back at Kaz and the ash spitter. She was more than ready to jump in, she just wanted to get out of the Jagged Scar, her fur was a mess.

Ash Spitter
The second fireball would glow and expand as the lightning spear hit it. The spear would go through but as it met contact the explosion would be triggered and blast at a twenty yard radius in a raging firestorm that would consume all that was in or close but at reduced damage from the spear. As the ash spitter saw its prey had taken the bait it would turn and walk away before feeling the spear shred half its tail and right leg. Howling in pain it would attempt limp away knowing it might die.

Kaz's eyes opened wide as the smaller fireball was in fact the stronger of the two. Having his absorption technique still recovering he was left to face this explosion in his face. Thinking fast he angled his body away from the blast kicking off with his feet as hard as he could off of the wind. Forming another spear out of the air he began twirling them extremely fast on both sides of his body as he raced towards the exit of the firestorm. The spinning of the spears kept some of the flames at bay but he had to just endure the heat and burns he was gaining on his hands and legs. Emerging from the storm, the bottom of his pantlegs were still on fire as well as a trail of smoke followed him as he fell from the sky. Letting go of the shadow spear to gain control in the air he fliped his body in a manor that let his flaming legs land first near Kaori. Patting the fire out on his legs he looked up at her with a few coughs. "I told you, I'd keep your hands clean." Letting out a few more coughs before falling to one knee. All of the exposure to the fire techniques in the already burning hot desert was taking its toll on him. Reaching to his canteen he took a few swigs of it before looking up to her. Letting off a subtle smirk.
Boost Jump Training :: E-Rank This technique allows the user to jump a minimum of twenty feet into the air. Each time the user does this, they must spend a minimum of [5] Chakra. This technique is useful for avoiding attacks since the user would be able to jump quite high into the air.
Shadow Javelin Training :: A-Rank The user can create javelin without actually having to purchase them. In fact, the user can even conjure javelin at [5] Chakra a piece without needing a javelin in the first place to imitate. Propeller Simple :: B-Rank The user spins their spear as though it is a helicopter propeller above their head, tilted downwards in front of them though. Once they do this, they pointed portion of the spear and slice at bits and pieces of the enemy's body causing small lacerations all over them. This technique also serves as a defense against Rank-D and below ninjutsu. The spear does no necessarily need to be spun above the head though. It can also be spun in front of the body, although it would not be able to cut the enemy if spun as so.
