Senstren "Oh, no you are not intruding at all. I was actually on my way to bring you the lenses." He held his arm out, pointing down the path to his house. "Would you like to see what they can do? I have my own set ready at my house." (( Sorry, I dissapeared again. @__@ Bad roleplayer. )) She nodded. "Deffiantly!" They headed back down the path to his house, earglry awaiting the demonstration.

He smiles and leads her back towards his house. They get to the door and step inside. He shows her the way up to the roof of the building to the lenses. He stands in the center ring and prepares a spell to use the lenses. "You may wish to join me here."

She takes note of the perfect circle stepping into it, heading his warning still waiting to see what powers these lenses provided.

He begins to speak an incantation, and liquid fire drips from his mouth and spreads across the circles moving out until the last circle is illuminated. He raises his arms and continues the spell. He pauses for a moment and turns to Alanna. "Just always remember not to move your feet. These lenses will show you the river safely, but if you move, they might throw you into the waters of death."

She watched carefully making sure not to move. The waters of death? If she did happen to move and fall into them, the outcome could be heads or tails. It wouldn't have been the first time she fell into a body of water containing damned souls and demons. She shivered at the memorys still watching. " Can they see anything else besides the river?"

He paused at the question and pulled back his energy. "What do you mean? Is there something you want to see in particular?"

"Ah. To answer you, they can show you many things." He turned back to his spell and finished the main spell. Then he stretched the image from the lense to show two people. The alteration of the vision fixed, the two figures seemed to be floating ten feet above the moving surface of black water. The water did not seem to have an end in any direction one looked. There were creatures moving under the surface of the water.

"Interesting. Are those.. two people us?" she asked. Her eyes stayed locked onto the creatures moving below the surface. This was no cheap parlor trick, like most people like to fool others that they see into the realm of the dead.

He stood there watching the shapes swim under the water. They moved around so gracefully...He felt like jumping down and joining them. He was about to take a swan dive down when he snapped out of the trance and remembered his surroundings. Cursing his attention span he waited to answer any of Alanna's questions.

"Us? No, this river would not cause any reflections of us." He muttered another spell and the water around the figures became clear, showing horrendously mutilated beings under the surface.

"Oh. Haha. You sure? I swear I've looked like that getting up in the morning sometimes." It was a lame joke, but she didn't think before saying it. "Can they see us?" she hoped she was killing him with stupid questions, but this was something she never saw before.

He laughed lightly. "No, they cannot see us. There are many spells that can be used with the lenses, so for the sake of safety I made it so they cannot sense us, but we cannot interact with them either."

A mighty shake of the ground came as a tall and mighty dragonewt decended from the sky.
"I am looked for the nercomancer named Senstren," he called out as he approached the house.
"May he present himself before me."

A noise reached through the vision area. "I think something has happened in life. I'm sorry, but we'll have to end here." He casts the spell to end the sight and picks up the box containing the lenses. He turns to Alanna. "Here is your set of lenses. There is a copy of the spells you'll need to know inside." He walks to the edge of the roof and sees a large creature on his front lawn. "Who calls me?"
