she will want her sweater back and the bottle in it so just dont break it XD
Her smile was feral when she heard his grunt. Antares' strike hand landed perfectly, a few more like it and he would have to leave her alone. She was cocky and already turning her mind to her second attack when she tried to duck out of his range only to find herself being dragged back by her sweatshirt.
A string of expletives flashed across her conscious as she tried to rip the material from his grasp. She knew that if he got a hand on her and she couldn't get away he could easily overpower her, her worst nightmare actually. She twisted violently to the left right as he brought his knee up right into her side. She gasped in pain and nearly fell as her own knees gave out, only the negas grip on her sweater kept her upright. But through the pain she got an idea. Still in pain she let all her weight drop, but a quick shift and in a move a squirmy two year old avoiding getting dressed would be proud of, Antares was free of the sweatshirt and the grasp of the negaverser.
She scrambled away as fast as she could with her arm held over her side in a vain attempt to quell some of the pain, if she was lucky it would only be a wicked bruise and sore muscles. It didn't even occur to her that her uniform was now visible until a cool breeze trailed across her bare shoulder blades, the gold jewelry winking in the low light. She really wanted her sweatshirt back and her glare made it clear that the guy was on her s**t list, along with who ever came up with her outfit.

Congratulations Antares and Leucite! You have found 2 potions! They sparkle and give off a soft glow and while powered up you feel nothing sinister or alarming about them. Still you better not drink them....just yet.
Remember to post in the thread to claim them! [Link]
Leucite had to commend the girl on her spunk and vigor. She was a slippery little snake and he was having a hell of a time getting her pinned down. Once she slid out of the sweater, he balled it up and let it drop to the ground from about waist height, he didn't know what was in the bottle she'd stuffed in it - but he didn't have any desire to see it crack open on the off chance it was caustic or toxic.
Looking her up and down for a moment, he laughed a little.
"That's what you were hiding? Really, really sweetheart, I've seen worse. There are outfits out there that hide - nothing - you're actually pretty lucky. I'm actually a little disappointed, you made it out as if you were naked."
Not that he really had any desire to see her bare flesh but... STILL.
"Now you gonna come at me, sweetie or are you just gonna prance around like a ******** girl all night?"

rolleyes sneaky little girl... just not terribly original
Antares kept quiet. No point in trying to provoke him, it didn't seem he cared. Besides, she might not know what other senshi wore but there were few street walkers who wore less, and in her getup marks her for potential attack so it seemed the guy had no idea why she wore the sweater. Good. Her eyes were cold and her mind calculating. He had good reflexes and she wouldn't have the escape possibilities that she had last time but he too didn't seem like he wanted to rush her. And no one would be stupid enough to repeat the same attack... And no one would be expecting it.
Repeating her move from earlier she rushed him. Antares came in low and fast and when she was close enough she fainted to the right and dodged to the left and ducked up behind him, punching out with a hard right hoping to strike within the same general area as last time, just on the other side. With luck he wouldn't be able to reach her and catch her like last time.
The girl had potential, Leucite had to admit, albeit grudgingly. She'd make good fodder for the Negaverse if someone could get her pinned long enough to convert. He could almost taste her aggression in her movements. She'd be a good little pet senshi for someone to raise.
As she rushed him, the adage of time slowing down in a fight seemed to be very true to Leucite. But he knew how that worked. The adrenaline was flowing in his veins and his reflexes where firing in the manner of which they were trained.
One thing though - was obvious from this fight so far. While the girl had talent, she had absolutely no real training in combat. She must be self taught - or at the very least, learned by seeing. Her thought process wasn't too bad - had it been an actual street fight against another non-traditionally trained fighter.
But one of the big things that happened in fights between trained fighters was when they found an opening - they harry the crap out of it until it closes or the opponent goes down. A fight was as much defense as it was offense, you had to see the whole fight in an instant and try to stay two steps ahead of the foe.
Leucite saw her coming, and he grinned. She rushed him again, going the opposite side - he'd give her that. She was fast, but it wouldn't help much if he knew it was coming. Stepping into the blow, he threw himself bodily into her, arms wrapping her up as he put his whole weight into the tackle.
"Time to go down, sweetie."

Antares flinched as she felt him grab her arms, she tried to twist away but wasn't expecting him to wrap her up in a virtual bear hug and drop them both to the rooftop. For a critical moment she lost all mental reasoning and started to thrash about; scratching, kicking, punching, and even biting. For her it was one of her worst nightmares, being held down by someone stronger and bigger than her.
It wasn't until, in her struggle to get him off, she smacked the back of her head into the rooftop that she regained some of her composure. She needed to get him off of her NOW! Growling she hissed out her attack; Scorpion Sting. If he wanted to play dirty then he had best get ready to get mud shoved in his face.
In order to keep him occupied she started to aim her attacks, unlike before. She tried to head but him, a broken nose hurt like hell and the pain would help distract him. In tandem with the head butt she brought her knee up in a quick and vicious strike, aiming for the family jewels. There were no guarantees that her scorpions would land a strike or even if the strike would be useful but she would do just about anything right then to get out of his grasp.
-Scorpion Sting
When the attack is called out a ghostly scorpion around the size of a rat or a hamster appears and advances upon the attended target. The scorpion can be touched, swatted, hit, and stepped on but it is not recommended since it is able to sting through clothes and armor alike. When it stings, it's target gets severe pins and needles sensation in the limb that was stung... as if their limb had fallen asleep and was just then waking up, this effect lasts 30 seconds. Any residual affects are up to the target if there is any at all.
The scorpion can be dodged and after 7 feet it disappears and it can only manifest for 30 seconds at a time. It does not travel in a straight line, rather it will head to anything moving so it could be tricked. The length of the scorpion and the length of the effects of the attack are separate, if you are stung in the beginning you have just as long as someone stung right before the scorpion disappears.
This attack can be used up to a maximum of three times in a battle. When the three scorpions have been used no more can manifest until later.
Leucite did not expect to tackle her and then suddenly be mauled by her. She must have panicked on him - that was the only explanation for the amount of thrashing, kicking and biting that was going on as he tried to exert all of his weight on her smaller frame and pin her to the rooftop.
The headbutt and the knee were expected - but what was not was a face full of scorpion. With a startled yelp, Leucite stumbled back off her, tangling her leg even as he got himself a face full of venom.
His face was suddenly aflame with that sensation that a face should not feel because when did a face fall asleep!
But of course, this only served to piss him off more, so he rolled away from her and the stinging thing, making noises that would probably be ear burning curses if he had the ability to actually form words.

Antares hissed in pain when the nega agent scrambled off her and stumbled over her feet. He landed squarely on her ankle and she felt her bones grind against the rooftop. Her satisfaction on his obvious pain was short lived as she scrambled to get further away, distance is key for her.
As she got to her feet, Antares nearly collapsed as her abused leg almost collapsed. She gritted her teeth and stood, clearly favoring her left side. By sheer luck the ankle he stepped on was the left one, the same side he had damaged when kneed her in the side. Her mind scrambled to come up with her next attack since the magic wouldn't last much longer. She had lost the element of surprise even though she had two more chances at the attack.
She eyed him from the safety of nearly the whole rooftop between them and couldn't help but chuckle mirthlessly. Who would have thought that that was what an 'asleep' face would look like, the murmured 'words' were pretty damn funny too. Go figure.
Grumbling, Leucite began to slowly circle his prey again, his face stung like nobody' business and it was making his eyes water - so he had to focus on her colors than her actual shape.
Oh this little witch was going to die.
If she didn't get forcibly converted first.
He stumbled next, having to stop moving as he tried to keep his eyes on the target. Damn this was hard.
He shouted something unintelligible at her - if she was going to escape, now would be the time.

Antares took a few steps forward, more than willing to continue the fight but when her leg collapsed under her she knew it was time to call it a draw. She pushed of the roof where she had ended up in a kneeling position, her teeth gritted against the pain. She kept a wide berth between her and the nega as she made her way closer to escape.... And her sweater.
With a bracing breath she dodged towards her sweater, scooped it up, and headed for the roof edge... Limping clearly as she pushed her sore body to the breaking point.
She hoped the edge of the roof and landed on the rickety fire escape, once more landing on her knees as her ankle refused to hold up under the force. She scrambled to her feet and made her way quickly down the metal scaffold, her sweater balled up in her hand. Once clear of the building she would put it on and sink deeper into the darkness of the city before becoming just another night crawler civilian. She had to get away first.
She was hurt - he could tell by the way she started and stopped in her motions. She was still a blur though, and it was hard to make out exactly where she was going. He started to stumble after her, but once she got a hold of her sweater and went over the edge of the roof and onto the fire escape he stopped, letting her go for now.
There would be another night. Another chance - another time.
Though next time, he thought, he would make an attempt to communicate instead of attack on sight.
