Leto tensed slightly at the mention of Persephone's corruption. She'd done it a few times before, so it wasn't necessarily that she was unsure of how to do it... But she knew from personal experience the pain that came with it. The pain that she would inevitably have to inflict upon her precious Persephone. And quite frankly, they really didn't know what to expect from a White Mooner turned Negaverse turned White Mooner turned Dark Mirror Senshi.

But she was right- it needed to be done.

And the sooner it was done, the sooner they could begin the rest of their lives together, working towards the beautiful things that Persephone dreamed of for her planet.

Clambering to her feet, Leto held a hand out to Persephone to help her up. Once standing, her kept their fingers entwined and offered her a dopey half-smile.

"Let's go do this."

With the press of a button, the two Senshi reappeared exactly where they had left off- hand in hand in Leto's apartment. Leto squeezed back, looking directly into Persephone's eyes. If she was ready, then it was time. It was as simple as that.

She took a breath. Then another. Just power up and get it over with, she demanded in her head.

"Okay," Leto said quietly. "Okay," she repeated once more before she finally pushed her power to it's maximum capacity. She flinched when her large, black feathered wings burst from her back. There was no time to waste on being comfortable or taking her time- being a full powered Princess and doing a corruption in your own apartment was probably not the safest of things to do. But alas. If they were to do this anywhere else, they risked not only being caught, but they would have to have a third person involved to get them home.

This was stupid, but it was best.

And it was time.

First, Leto summoned her crystal to the palm of her free hand.

Second, she summoned a large, beautifully decorated mirror that now floated behind Persephone.

Third, she reluctantly released Persephone's hand from her own, swallowed hard, and whispered, "I love you."

All of Leto's energy was focused upon the crystal in her hands, pushing every bit of it into the mirror who held Persephone's fate. It took a whole lot of mental convincing, but eventually Leto finally stepped forward. Without another word, she put the Super Senshi through the mirror's surface-- and with that, the glass shattered and engulfed her.

It tore away everything that Persephone had just gained and filled her with Chaos for a second time.

When it was all said and done, Leto dropped to the ground, with her crystal disappearing and her wings following suit. The mirror spat a green-haired Dark Mirror Senshi to the floor and it disappeared as well.

Leto closed her eyes and slumped, because if this didn't work... If something had gone wrong, she couldn't face any of it.

It wasn't until she heard the other girl's voice that she opened her eyes. She stared at Persephone for a moment, taking her in- the dark fuku like she once wore, but this time there were no holes in her forehead or chest. Her green hair, its normal length. Corrupt, like she used to be, but yet entirely different. She was a part of the Dark Mirror family now, where she truly belonged. Where Leto remembered telling her she belonged when they first met.

With a choked sob, Leto crawled to close the small space between them and pulled Persephone tightly to herself. She clung to her with a desperation she had never felt, and finally now that she knew she was safe and home, she powered down.

"I'm so sorry, I wish it didn't hurt so much. I love you, I'm so happy you're alive. It worked and you're okay and everything is okay again." She was blubbering through tears and sniffles and leaving wet kisses all over Persephone's face.
