Actually Jera gave another look to the two over her shoulder, she had taken up the front of the boat and was paddling to keep her busy. "Well my loyalty was questioned because Rishima and I brought a shifter to the island. He had claimed that there was something he desperately needed there to prevent an illness from spreading." Right she had forgotten that Animah hadn't been aware of this..nor Rishima even if he had been with her at the time. Only she had been punished and tested and it made her a bit bitter.
"I think landing on shore and walking would be the best method." Jera stated as she didn't want to have to face the gaurdians of the Aisha if they just suddenly appeared near her. Best to let them adjust to their presence. besides they would need to meet with the elder first...

Aminah nodded her head slowly at Jerarda's words. It wasn't much information to go on, and it made Aminah even more confused about the going-ons within the Alkidike, but if that was all Jerarda was willing to say, she wouldn't pry. She couldn't say she understood why Jerarda would be punished for trying to prevent an illness outbreak, but at the same time she could see why they would protect their Aisha with everything they've got she guessed.
She could see the two islands come closer into view. It was almost time for them to reach land... and Aminah could feel her palms sweating as she held them in her lap. She rubbed them against her shorts and looked up toward Jerarda. "We're almost there." Her eyes were wide. She felt like it was forbidden territory, and she was right to feel that way. Normally she would never be allowed on the islands belonging to the Alkidike only.

Rishima's antennae twitched once more, though it was a slightly more surprised and maybe slightly irritated motion. So she'd been tested because of the Shifter Takoda? Why was it that only she had gotten in trouble for that when he had been there as well? Shouldn't he haven taken on half the blame for bringing him across? The reasoning behind him wanting to go had been a good one, he wanted to prevent illness from spreading, but maybe they had gone about it the wrong way despite that? Hard to say in this case even even hinsight, it was hard to say how the elders might have reacted if he and Jerarda had gone to them with such a request before hand after all. "I do apologize, sister, some of the weight of that punishment should have fallen equally onto my shoulders." He said to her, hoping that she would forgive him for that. He should have been there for the punishment as well as the crime. Shaking his head he tried to clear the cloud of depression about him. Today was a good day, he wanted to keep his spirits up and send only good vibes to his sister and her mate! They were going to do something of great importance after all. At Aminah's comment he gave a nod of his head, "Yes, just about there." He said, giving her a smile, before he continued with the rowing. It was as Aminah said too, it wasn't too much longer before their boat was reaching the shores of Amara, something that was aided by Jerarda's help. The moment the boat touch the shore Rishima was hopping out, moving to tie the boat to the dock before giving a pair a smile, "Alright, we walk from here. It shouldn't take too terribly long." Provided of course that they didn't get too much attention on their way. After a glance around the area he saw that there was a small gathering and some interesting, those who wanted to see the one that Jerarda was bringing here. It was something that caught Rishima's attention before he looked to Jerarda and Aminah, "Seems you've stirred up a bit of curiosity. Come on, we can let them know you have arrived then we will head on toward Aisha."

Seeing the small figures on the shore, all ranging in ages from youngling to elder. Some had been just going about their daily life and now were watching with curiosity. There were the few who were brandishing weapons although non look hostile..yet. Swallowing Jerarda tried to take a deep breath, she half looked over her shoulder as Rishima stated that he should of taken part of the blame for bringing the shifter to the island. Perhaps that was true, but she shook her head.
"No. Don't say such things Rishima." She managed quietly as they neared the shore line. Being that she was in front she carefully positioned herself to bring themselves into the shore. There were murmurs, she could hear them, as focus moved from her and Rishima to Animah. The murmuring intensified and she couldn't help but bristle wanting to protect Animah. Still she had to get them to shore first. Hoping out of the boat she went about guiding the craft to the shore line. The water had come up to her waist when she had jumped in and now she shivered slightly as she exited the water and helped to drag the boat to the shore. Once done she offered her hand to Animah to help her onto the beach.

The boat touched land and she could see the crowd gathering around her and the other two with her. Some bore weapons, most had some sort of grimace on their face, though they looked to be curious all the same. The eyes on her had her wholly uncomfortable.
Aminah took Jerarda's outstretched hand and climbed out of the boat and onto the shore, sinking farther behind Jerarda, hoping to hide herself from the line of sight of most of those watching.
She was an outsider here. She could feel her heart beating faster in her chest, and her face starting to turn red. She didn't know what to do here, so she just let the other two who belonged here lead the way. If they were to travel through the Alkidike's village and onto the next island she would probably have to get used to the idea of being stared at.

(( Did we want to skim over the meeting with the elder that Jay had mentioned, just see them and get a nod as they go by, or did someone want to play as said elder? )) Rishima looked from side to side, taking in the looks of those around them, before glancing back toward his sister. He was glad to see that, while there were some disapproving faces, that not everyone was complete hostile toward them being here. The last thing that he wanted was for anyone to out right challenge the proceedings, instead wanting the day to be as happy as possible for his sister and her chosen mate. As such he would keep a close eye out for anyone that might cause problems. As it stood though it didn't seem as though it were going to be an issue. At least not one that was going to come to blows at least. "Things are going well I think." He said, giving the pair he was escorting a smile, his antennae twitching a bit as they went. This was good, so long as things continued to go so smoothly then they should be able to reach Aisha in no time. From there everything was going to be up to the happy couple though as Rishima would excuse himself to give them their privacy when it came to such matters.

(Spoke with kaname and she suggested just skipping over a few things)
Jerarda nodded her head, they had made it to the island and now they would make their way to the elders. Taking Animah's hand she tugged her forward and then began leading them towards the elders homes. She knew where they were well and it didn't take them long to get there. The elders having known about their arrival had come out to great them, talking in low voices as Jerarda explained their presence and desire to make a plea to Aisha. There had been some hesitation but finally granted their blessing they were ushered to where the great mother tree was.
Standing before two pairs of amazon guards who scoweled at first with their presence demanding to know why an outsider was being brought here. It was hard not to get angry, extremely hard not to snap at them but Jera at least knew that she had to bite her tongue here.
"The elders have granted us passage to allow us pray to Aisha for the privilege of lotus's." She explained looking to Animah and squeezing her hand before glancing at Rishima who had come all this way with them.

Aminah gave a small unsure smile to Rishima at his announcement of things going well. It was funny to think that this was what it was like for things to be going in their favor; she could feel the tension in the air. "Oh good..." She said meekly.
After their brief meeting with the elders, the three of them were rushed from their meeting to the great tree where all Alkidike were born. Aminah looked up in awe at the towering giant before them and felt overwhelmed at the sheer size of it.
The guards stared down the their group, Aminah in particular it seemed, while demanding to know their reason for being there. It was a good thing Jerarda was more than ready to take charge and get them to where they needed to be because Aminah was nearly completely frozen, gripping her mate's hand with white knuckles. She looked up toward's Jerarda's face, waiting for someone to speak and grant them passage.

(( Cool, thank you! )) The two that met them, a pair women who seemed taller then normal likely due to the severe looks on their faces, caused Rishima to give momentary pause. At least until Jerarda spoke up, saying that the elders had already allowed them access to Aisha. Giving a little shake of his head to clear that momentary feeling of being frozen in place he said, "I am acting as their escort, to make sure that nothing untoward happens. It will be alright." He reassured them, wanting them to know that he wasn't going to let them run amok... not that he thought that either Jerarda or her mate would. His antennae gave a little twitch before he turned to look over at the pair he was escorting to give them a smile, hoping to keep things calm, then to the sisters that were standing there between them. Once he looked back to them he continue speaking, "You can be assured that they have come only for peaceful reasons, Aminah even came unarmed to prove that." The pair seemed to discuss that quietly between themselves before finally parting, allowing the three of them through, something that had Rishima sighing in relief. He didn't want to admit it but a part of him had been a little worried that they might not be allowed through. Having the two powerful sisters part and allow them pass, it was something that left him almost dizzy with relief. "Shall we get going, Jerarda, Aminah? We are almost there." He said, starting forward once again, still able to feel the stares of the two amazons on them as they went.

Jerarda gave Rishima a warm smile as he bolstered their peaceful nature, though Jerarda was at a point where she would punch someone if they refused. They had come all this way and if these two blockheads wouldn't allow them through to the great mother. She knew they were only doing their appointed tasks, and she was sure if she had been the one on the other end she would of done the same. But it was had to accept such truths when she was on the receiving end of such criticism.
Thankful that Rishima was speaking up for them she didn't need to force the issue as they were finally allowed past. As they walked Jerarda squeezed Animah's hand and then put a hand on Rishima's shoulder. She was right to bring him here, she felt at ease with the hybrid with them and very thankful.
"thank you Rishima..Animah I am sure I could of lost my cool back there."

The guards quickly stepped down and Aminah felt herself sigh with relief when Jerarda gave her hand a squeeze. They were getting closer to their goal and would soon be pleading for children. Aminah finally let herself feel something other than nerves and felt her heart flutter at the thought of holding a baby in her arms.
Once they had passed the guards and alone, she felt comfortable enough to speak up. "Is this it then? Are we finally meeting Aisha?" She looked up to the tree they approached with every step and couldn't see why there would be something else in their way. Now that all the steps were behind her... or at least she thought they were all behind her, they could finish what they set out to do.

(( Next round I will have Rishi drop them off then you two can post back and forth to finish it up if you like while he stands guard nearby. ^_^ )) Rishima gave a little laugh, "It's not a problem sister." He didn't really mind speaking up for her, only too happy to do so... even if he felt a bit exhausted afterwards. It wasn't as though he'd done anything strenuous and yet it was somehow tiring to stand up to his bigger sisters at times. Giving a smile he looked over at the pair and said, "I am glad you didn't have to lose your cool, I wouldn't want you to have to knock anyone out on what is to be a joyous days." Giving Aminah his attention next he said, "Yes, just a short walk now. Once we arrive I will give the two of you your space but I will be near by in case you need anything. You need only to call out to me." With that he started forward once more, closing the distance between the three of them and Aisha. As they walked she would come into view in the distance, showing that they were getting close. Every time he came to visit he always felt his heart skip a beat, ever in awe of the mother tree, "It won't be long now, already we can see her." Soon he'd be dropping the two off, something that made him feel for a moment more like a proud father then someone younger then Jerarda. A thought that put a little smile on his face.

With each step forward they were getting closer and closer to their intended goal. The great mother tree loomed ahead of them and she was feeling more and more insignificant as they neared. Aisha was immense, her branches reaching up into the sky like many arms trying to protect her children. Awe swept over her as they got closer an when Rishima spoke she nearly jumped startled.
"Ah..yes..thank you Rishima for everything." She managed to say as she released Animah's hand for a moment to turn to the hybrid. Looking him over she felt like perhaps she had become the one being guided rather than the other way around. Enveloping Rishima in a hug and gave him a tight squeeze, it had been such a rush of feelings. She was so proud of him, how he had grown and respected his fellow sisters, not usually the one to cry she felt herself choke a bit on her words.
"Never stop being you Rishima." She managed a whisper as she then cleared her throat and returned to Animah's side. Her lover and the one she would cherish for the remainder of her life. "shall we ...go pay our respects?" She managed to Animah.

Aminah watched the emotional embrace between her mate and her best friend and nodded with a now serene smile on her face. It was time. She grabbed Jera's hand and began the final leg of the walk to Aisha. "Are you sure you're ready for this?" She asked one more time. They had made it this far, but her nerves had been frayed to the point of uncertainty at this point.
They reached the base of Aisha and waited for Jerarda's lead. She thought that Jerarda would probably have never done this before, but she would have a much better idea of what came next. Did they pray to her out loud? Beg for a child, ask politely? Did they just silently ask her for the belssing? Aminah... was at quite a loss, still holding onto Jerarda's hand.

Rishima lifted his gaze, looking up at his sister for a moment, before giving her a smile as she told him to never stop being him. It was something that caused him to give a soft laugh, "Of course, now you two go on, let Aisha hear your plea and I will pray for the best of luck for you." He told her, giving her a hug before he stepped back, glancing over at Aminah and smiled, "I wish you both the best of luck with Aisha hearing your words."
He gave them both a nod of his head before moving off, giving them space so that he was still nearby, doing his duty as their escort but wouldn't be underfoot or eavesdropping. This was their time together, not something he wanted to intrude upon. Once reaching a spot he felt was a good distance he rested the butt of his weapon against the ground, standing watch over the pair as they spoke with Aisha.
