Rain Yupa Also, to get it in writing at Plainsfox's behest: Origami paper will be 1 bu for a dozen sheets. These are meant mainly for the art, and are of quality befitting a samurai. Peasants with a passing interest in origami as a hobby probably get by with just parchment.

Srs. It's winter court. Those with high social skills are gonna wind up ruling here. Doubly so for those with the ability to parlay those skills into advanced techniques.

PupSage Permission to spend my extra 1 exp on a rank of Courtier? Granted. I'm generally flexible about things like this. You aren't in the middle of an instance where you need to use it, and you haven't used it at it's current level (0) yet, so IMHO it's easily justifiable that you had it all along. On that note, for everyone: You will not be permitted to spend XP for a skill if that day's event will feature that skill, ONCE IT HAS BEEN PICKED AS A POSSIBILITY (via RNG). So you can't find out that the day might have Tea Ceremony or Iaijutsu, and spend XP on either even before we decide. So you'll have to be prompt at it's expenditure!

Fair enough. Not like it'd be my first time doing an event with no ranks, then use it as an excuse to obtain said skill afterwards.

Paidi tou Selini Curiosity was a funny thing indeed... "Mother..." the young heiress sighed, a quiet singsong prayer that only Naohiko and Gendo would be able to hear, "You warned me that this would be a trial, but you neglected to mention that you were sending the trial with me."Meanwhile, at that moment, in nearby Kyuden Otomo... Himura Haruka botches a much-needed Tea Ceremony roll, inexplicably cackling menacingly in the middle of it, much to the chagrin of her hosts.

Quick addendum: There's enough empty rooms where everyone may get one.
I won't stop Naohiko and Gendo from doing the bunkbeds thing though if they want. You two can figure out who gets the top bunk.
Quick Edit Addendum 2: The rooms are empty, not 'bare'. They are furnished identically to what you would expect out of a fairly upscale inn, at least as far as Kraken standards are set.
