Rishima gave a little smile as Jerarda gave a little tug on his dreadlocks. It was a sad and very scary story but it brought the two of them together in the end. It was just a shame that the woman had to lose so much order for it to happen. Now that they had a place of their own though they were probably working on rebuilding though and more then things having one another was probably what was really important. One of those overly romantic thoughts that he shoved aside quickly since even thinking it was embarrassing for a warrior of his rank.

"I am sure you will do fine. You helped to bring me out of my shell and into the world after all." He said, sounding as though he had all the faith in the world in Jerarda, probably because he did. She always seemed so strong and larger then life to him. As she mentioned that there was the chance that Aisha might not grant the request he lifted a hand to rest it on her arm, "You are a wonderful person, Jerarda, and my dear sister. I know things will go well for you, I feel it, if your mate is even half as wonderful as you I can see no reason why Aisha would deny you. Especially when you have been so loyal and have worked so hard in the past." He might protest if Jerarda's request was denied in fact... though he wasn't sure if that would help or not.

"Eh?" Rishima glanced away, down at his own hands for a moment, "I... he does have a tendency to stare a lot... and he sort of goes off into his own world at times making me wonder what he's thinking about." His cheeks colored a bit as he thought about her words, about Gerraden being 'devoted' and he glanced over at her, "It's... probably why he is, was, building that house, huh?" He'd been so caught up in other things, so many other things, that he hadn't really focused enough on Gerraden and seemed to miss what Jerarda seemed to catch so easily.

Jerarda felt his reassuring grip on her arm, she wondered how she was so doutbful of this situation when she had someone like Rishima telling her not to worry. Giving another small laugh she discarded her empty fruit stick and then nodded her head, he was right. She could worry all she wanted but that wasn't like her was it? Jerarda would always come out on top, she knew that she had pride as a alkidike and that even if she found love outside of her sisters she would still put her life on the line to protect her family. Giving another hmmm as she tried to organize her thoughts she looked over to Rishima noticing that he was blushing.

Grinning she gave him an elbow to the ribs in a teasing fashion, "That death trap? Try and convince him to do a normal home like alkidikes are suppose to have. Or at least getting someone who knows what they are doing to build it. His heart is in the right place...but I don't need you breaking limbs just because of his foolish pride." She stated firmly, "As much as I tease him about his rather..single mindedness I am ...perhaps more interested in your...obliviousness about the situation." Jerarda pressed as she wrapped an arm around his middle and pulled him closer to herself. "So...you havn't tried to do anything to him? I am sure he'd molest you in a heartbeat if he knew you had feelings for him."

She was of course just assuming, but she had met Gerraden enough times to notice his rather adoring looks in Rishima's direction. You'd have to be utterly blind not to notice...although that seems to have been the case for Rishima.

"It sounded like a good idea before, having a home that would allow us to see across the forest... but I suppose at the time there was also the Oban threat to worry about. I wanted to be able to keep an eye out even if I were there at the time. It was something I worried about, them marching in and attacking even though I knew Jauhar itself could be quite the enemy to the Obans itself." He admitted, having felt at the time that out of the ordinary housing scheme would be useful from a tactical stand point. Now that the war was over it wasn't something he had to worry about as much he supposed.

Lifting a hand he scratched it against the back of his head, looking a bit embarrassed, as he admitted, "To be honest I didn't know he wasn't good at such things. He sounded so determined and confident that I just assumed he'd build it without any sort of issue. I hope he didn't hurt himself while he was trying to get things built." He hoped that it didn't turn out he was injured trying to build the house and that was why he hadn't seen him for a while, he'd feel awful then.

"I... don't know. I mean he was, is, really friendly, kinda clingy, and always right underfoot but I guess I just took it as him being kind of like a puppy." He said, his antennae twitching as he was pulled closer to Jerarda, leaning against her, with a thoughtful look on his face. As she asked him about if Rishima himself had tried anything with Gerraden he shook his head rapidly, "Oh! I couldn't have done that! I mean... I am so much older then he is, doesn't it seem like taking advantage? Especially since he started to follow me around when he was still a prentice. I couldn't have! Even have that dream... I... no, never mind." He shook his head rapidly, cheeks darkening.

Jerarda wondered possibly if she was making things worse...after all she was now pretty much telling Rishima that Gerraden was a terrible house builder and was completely awful at trying to be a mate. Well perhaps she didn't go that far, but it was enough to probably be a bit of a deterant. Which wasn't her intended goal. Hugging onto the man even tighter as he became flustered she gave a wicked grin.

"Dream? OHO you must devulge to me this dream." The elder snickered as she wresteled with him slightly, "And you shouldn't worry too much about age...I mean he is younger right? Just means he will have more vigor for...your nightly acitivities. Besides like you said the war is over, though there is still a threat to the forests you can't be on gaurd twenty-four seven. You should take some personal time and go get yourself a piece of him." Jerarda snickered as she couldn't help herself. It was so nice to be able to have this time with Rishima, to just..talk about each others worries and plans. She was thrilled he agree'd to escort Animah and herself to the islands.

"As for escorting us, perhaps sooner...now that I know where you are I can get Animah and we can travel in the next couple of days. After all I don't want to keep you away from your stalker. He seems to really miss you. At least...he did when I saw him last...tied..to a tre...I am pretty sure I let him go.."

"I... well, it was just a nice dream, the two of us curled up together, sleeping in the same hammock in the house that he was building." Though in his dream the house had been rather nice, what little he recalled, mostly he was focused on Gerraden, how warm he'd been and how much he'd been enjoying just laying with him there, doing nothing. Just the two of them lazing around even though that wasn't really something that Rishima did that often, especially these days.

"W-Wait... what? N-Nightly activities?" His cheeks seemed to burn that much brighter and he lifted his hands to hide his face behind them, wondering if it was actually possible for a person to blush themselves to death. He sure hoped now as that would be the most embarrassing way to die in the history of ever. After all that he'd been through, and lived through, only to die of embarrassment, "I-I can assure you that I we aren't quite that close yet... so I d-don't know about getting a... a piece of him." He said, barely able to get the words out. He had a feeling though that Gerraden would like the idea... that or he would get so excited that he fainted from excitement, one or the other.

When she changed the subject he couldn't help but to sigh in relief, "I can meet the two of you at the beach that is across the Chibale Isles in two days time if you like?" He said, resting his hands against his cheeks in an attempt to cool them off.

Pouting slightly as she had hoped for perhaps something a bit more...vivid in the retelling of the dream still it was good to hear that Rishima wasn't completely out of touch with his feelings. They werejust buried really well under all those layers of worry. Still it was adorable to see how his face went from blushing to bright red. Just how flustered he was about the entire thing which only confirmed that perhaps she needed to push Rishima into the right direction.
"I...see. Well why don't you confirm his feelings? I mean you don't seem overly concerned that he may be lusting after you. Why not confirm it first? Then decide from there if you want to accept his feelings? After all its rather unfair for Gerraden to be chasing after someone who doesn't want the same thing as him. Right?" She tried to say it in a very off handed way. Like this should of been common sense.
Poking his cheek as he tried to cover up his embaressment she smiled and then hugged him even tighter. "Rishima...lets not every let so much time pass before we speak again. If we manage to be granted a lotus...I would be honoured if you would be one of the first to meet the child when she is born." Of couse she would assume it would be a she for it was just custom for lotus's to be born female.
"I know Animah is ready for kids, I have to wonder if I will be. In two days time should be plenty to ready ourselves. We won't need much and I have already sent word ahead as I want the elders to be prepared."

Rishima gave a nod of his head, "You're probably right, I should talk to him." He murmured, to figure everything out, to see what the two of them felt for each other, if it was real, and if it still was present within Gerr despite all the time that had passed. He would need to find him first, but Jerarda and her mate came first, bringing them to Aisha so that she could speak with her, to see if the great mother would grant them the lotus they were dreaming of, "Once I bring you and Animah safely to Aisha I will seek him out."

Giving a smile he said, "I bet you will know when you see your daughter. At least that was what my mother said to me, that she was scared because her lover was a Shifter, and that it all made sense when she saw me." He turned so that he could look at his taller sister then nodded, "As for coming to meet your daughter, I look forward to it. I especially want to see if she's going to take on the world barehanded like you did when we first met." He couldn't help but to chuckle at that, imagining a little miny Jerarda running around.

it was somewhat embaressing the way Rishima referred to her, yes back when she was younger more arrogant and read to convince the world they were the superior race. But so much had changed, the wars....it made her realize how her opinion would only lead to bloodshed. If her sisters kept thinking that the world was better left in their protection they wouldnt need a world to protect. There would be nothing left after all the blood shed.
"I am slightly afriad she would be too much like me. I have changed a lot since we first met, I use to think very differently and now...if my younger self met me now I am sure she would ridicule me and lecture me for falling in love with an earthling. But now that I have I understand that love isn't bound by race. I wish to keep our world safe and provide it with the means to let love bloom. " She managed with a nod of her head, her attention moving to the fire she had started and listening to it crackle in warmth.
"I would like to take you to the part of the dying forest...I think there is a secret there to why the forest is like that...why I found the dretch there...I think we may uncover a means to protect everyone but it will have to wait until after our trip."

"Well, she can be strong and kind like you without the more... zealous parts?" He said, giving a little chuckle, "After all if she has both you and an Earthling mother to raise her I am sure she will be more open to things? I am guessing at least." He supposed it all depended on how she was raised and given the way that Jerarda was talking it sounded as though it would be in a more open and loving manner, the sort of manner that would cause her daughter to be more open to love. Giving a bit of a smile he said, "Now, to get more of our sisters to be so open and caring." A difficult task indeed with some of the more hardheaded ones.

"Dying forest?" He asked, his antennae lifting upright, a curious look on his face, especially at the mention of a 'secret' that was there, one that was tied to the Dretch. He gave a nod of his head, "Of course, just let me know when and I will go with you." He said, not wanting for his sister to go there alone if it was as dangerous as she made it sound as though it might be.

Nodding his head he said, "I will of course be at your side, we will protect everyone together." Jerarda, her mate, their new child, and Gerraden amongst the number he thought to himself, though he had to admit he was a little intimidated by the idea that the Dretch might be behind a section of dead forest.

Jerarda flinched slightly at his description but he was correct she had been overly zealous when she was younger. To the point of being ridiculous. Giving a nod of her head she released Rishima after he agreed to go find Gerraden after he had taken them to the isles. Now that she had gotten this confirmation though she felt more at ease. There were going to be many trials and stressful things to worry about in the future. But at least she had Rishima and Animah to help her along the way.
Going to poke a stick into the fire she grinned as she looked back to Rishima. "You know...if you two do end up together...you could have a family as well. I will return the favor and escort you both." She chuckeled unable to stop herself with one last tease before tossing the stick in.
"Lets stay up and chat, I feel we need to spend at least one night before we part and then I will go tell Animah the good news."

Rishima's mismatched eyes went quite wide, his cheeks getting hot, as Jerarda mentioned him going to plea with Aisha for a lotus with Gerraden. His antennae set to twitching rapidly for a moment before he shook his head, "Ahh... yeah... maybe." He said, his words once more becoming difficult to find, "I-If such a thing were to happen I would ask you to be our escort, of course, sister." His cheeks only brightened that much more as though just saying that out loud was admitting his interest in children with Gerraden. No, no, that was way to fast! He hadn't even talk to Gerraden yet, he couldn't even be considering that yet he scolded himself.

Shaking his head to clear his embarrassment he said, "That sounds nice, it's been a while since we have sat up chatting, and it's a night that I look forward to. So long as you don't think that your mate will be jealous? I don't want to keep you away from her too long." He said, giving her a little smile and a chuckle. A calm night before what sounded like it would be quite a busy time afterwards between all the things that they had planned, visits with Gerraden, as well as his normal work and patrols. It would all be worth it though if you asked Rishima.
