Zar's instinct was to lash his tail around Calder as they crashed into one another, and he could not stop it from doing so. He made no move to get up. "If your kind deals well in both then why, pray tell, are you so shy about this shape?"

The tail went, quick as it reacted and wrapped about her body. Usually, it was a welcome friend; a extension of Zar that seemed happy to be around him when the main host appeared not to want him around. While she was glad to not hit Zar and cause them both pain (and possibly upset Zar's currently rare, happy mood), the tail also had other memories tied to it.

While the tail kept her from a hard crash, she was still unbalanced and tried to get her bearings and to place her hooves right again to get back up and away. Tag didn't seem all that fun anymore.

"I'm not shy." She grumbled, her heart racing as she avoiding looking at Zar. The tail was still tight about her, over a body that rarely received that kind of contact. It made her stomach tight.

"You can let go." She said, able to smell him this close and not wanting to. If Calder smelled delightful to Zar, Zar smelled hot and musky to her, and it made her uncomfortable.

Zar smirked and shifted to rub one cheek then the other against Calder possessively. "You are though." he said in a low hiss.

But as he was requested to let go, for once he actually did, relinquishing the grip he had, withdrawing his tail slowly and lingeringly. "Sssorry." he said.

She tended to love the contact of a cheek against her. It was a familiar, comforting gesture, but it was also one of interest. She had rubbed her cheek against Barth plenty of times, eager for his attention and limited energy, and she had wanted it from Zar. However, right at this moment, she did not. Any other time, any other form, she could follow up that feeling and affection with the shell that she was familiar with inside and out. This form had never passed on to anything in the realm of intimate before, and because of that, she stared right at the boundary and was digging her hooves when she got in sight of the unknown past it.

The contact sent a quick shiver through her body, their bodies conducting feelings between them in a circuit. While Zar showed more than just a nuzzling interest in her, it in no way caused her to be as giddy and willing as if he had been a stallion. Any other time, he would tango with him, be cocky and challenge back, but that was because she knew what could and might happen, the feelings and textures and urges with it. The parts involved and how they were used and with that came comfort, confidence, and safety.

The other form had none of that, and she was terrified at what might happen if Zar tried to engage her in the same ways he did when she was a boil. Her stomach was twisted in knots, nerves strained, and ears went back, embarrassed that Zar could be so at ease when she was nothing but. The tail left, but not without moving over her stomach, chest, and around her back and neck, nearing its end. She jerked away from it, stepping back, flustered and looking about, and not knowing what was best to do right now.

"I'm gonna walk now." She squeaked, and then turned about, walking away. Calder didn't even have the brain power to make up some excuse of why she had to go. Instead, just GOING was the most important part.

Zar wasn't sure what to make of the emotions he felt or the way Calder reacted, even with the aid of the link. He wasn't used to being lost with the kelpie, he was so often confident and straightforward, seeing him upset and ...embarrassed? afraid? he could not make head nor tail of what to do, nor did he trust his own instincts in making the correct choice.

He gathered himself up to stand, watching Calder.

"Don't go." he said, quietly.

It was a good thing that his animal hearing, which kept both the prey and predator side of him listening for threats and meals, also managed to make him hear Zar.

Calder stopped, but her heart was still pounding in her chest, and everything about her felt - uncomfortable. Zar didn't see her as a threat or a challenger as a mare, and Calder had done nothing to disprove that. Here she wanted to be a leader stallion, to be a better seducer, but she couldn't even keep herself from her mind frizzing out when his tail touched her. She should have liked all touches and attention from Zar, she wanted to, but she just couldn't.

Here Zar had said so much would go unnoticed to most, but not to him. How she wished he hadn't.

Even though she stopped, she had to remedy her feelings somehow, and a mist of white fog came around her before the slender form of Calder returned, two hooves, black hair, but back to Zar. "I probably shouldn't have eaten before suggesting tag. It makes my stomach upset. Sorry." He said, not turning around to look at Zar.

"We can play next time. I'm much faster as a stallion." He said, forcing a little laugh.

Zar watched Calder with a relaxed, calm expression, tail settling on the ground behind him in slow sinuous coils. His ears lowered a fraction in disappointment as the boil shifted out, back to his pinned form.

"I prefer you as a mare." he said. "Though both shapes are enticing, I simply feel safer with the form that is not out to dominate me and bring me to his heel and his herd." And this in itself was curious, it had to be some instinct in Zar, built into his hard-wired animal traits, because all the ghouls he had ever known had been far superior in the threat they posed and the power they wielded.

"It is unfortunate your stomach is upset." he added. "I was not concerned with my stomach."

Still, he did not change and he did not look back.

"Yeah........my stomach..." He muttered, staring at the ground.

"Do....you like ghouls......more than boils?" His stomach really was starting to hurt now.

"Hmmm." he said. "I should say so, yes. I have a certain aesthetic preference for the feminine anatomy."

"I am not a succubus."

PostPosted: Mon Mar 02, 2015 8:50 pm

"Would..........you like me better than a ghoul?" He said, voice still quiet. Back still to him.

"Do you........not like me as a boil? As a stallion?"

"Your sexual organs have no bearing on whether I like you or not. That as a factor is entirely separate - I think you will find - from everything. Liking you is based on your personality, your interactions with me and respect for my welfare be that emotional or physical. It is about respect, politeness and cordiality." he grinned. "Wether you are a ghoul or not simply has bearing on the degree of my arousal, wether I would like to ******** you or fight you, not the degree of my good feelings towards you."

PostPosted: Mon Mar 02, 2015 9:03 pm

He glanced for just a second, hair falling over his face, and he looked back away again, reaching up to tug at his hair, pulling at it before starting to come it to calm down.

Arousal. ********. Usually that didn't bother him, but it brought a panic with it now. Zar liked ghouls more, and as a mare, Zar liked him more, but Calder didn't feel safe that way to be as free as he was when he was a stallion or a boil. There was just too many - complicated things he had to think about and feel.

This was the worst. He'd think he was some newborn foal acting the way he was, when he wanted to be at Zar's level. How could he argue back with Zar that he could seduce better than he could when he failed so hard with his other half?

Face pink and ears back, he continued pulling on his hair. "Can you....not get like that when I'm a mare. It's.........it's weird."

He wanted to find a deep well and live in it. Maybe he could spend the remainder of his time at the Mudd estate in some muddy pit.

"I can't help it." Zar said matter of factly. "It is involuntary interest, built into my very nature." And it was.

"What are you so ...afraid?.. of." he said uncertainly. "I wouldn't do anything to you, you know that."

He sat down on the lawn, dropping his hands to then pull at the grass before him, frowning. It was hard to look Zar in the eye and instead he just continued not to look at him at all.

"Cause....." He said, debating if he should leave the explanation like that, but then considered it was unfair and made him look ever more like a scarling for it.

".....you gettin like that....all interested, I like you, and I like when you're like that when I'm me as a boil and we can have fun together like that cause I know how boils work......but when I'm not, it's weird...." He paused, before deciding to correct the word he was using as an escape. "weird like........scary.'

Scary because he never had a ghoulfriend. Scary because he didn't know what those parts meant aside from when he was a colt with his mother wanting milk. Scary in that he knew the lecture, read romance novels, but never placed himself into those roles as a mare, but only as a stallion and never into reality.

"...........those....bits.......I'm supposed to know em and don't and you like em and I wish you didn't."

He wished they could have just played tag without bringing attention to it so he coudl continue just being conformable in pretending they didnt exist in far as they were there but didn't function. That their presence would never be tested with use or attention.

He continued pulling out grass. "Can you feel better and safer if I was a stallion instead?"

Zar didn't take his eyes off of Calder, fascinated by this apparent weakness in someone who had always seemed determinedly and often pig-headedly confident. Faltering and uncertainty held his attention in a way only prey really could. "How will you ever understand how the rest of you works if you run from it all the time?" he asked, slowly. "I am just about the most equipped creature there is to demonstrate what your female parts can do." It was hard-wired into him since long before he had developed his own advanced sexual characteristics.

"I do not think I would ever feel better or safer with you as a stallion. It is simply the way things are. I have my tastes and preferences, you have yours."
