RC lands in this interesting mix of an area. Time to try and find something!

RC calls out his Electivire and has it drop the annoying, flittering fire bird with one mighty Thunder Punch.

Yet another Thunder Punch and another weak pokemon was put to the wayside.

The first thing Darts runs into is a Litleo, its bushy mane waving in the cool mountain breeze. It cuts a path through the snow with ease, its natural body heat acting like a small furnace in order to melt its way forwards. As soon as it sees the gambler it lets out a small yipping growl, and Darts takes pity on the little Pokemon, sending his Pokeball out to meet it with a twirl. "Go, Deino!"

The little Dragon shakes its head back and forth for a second before turning and walking in the opposite direction of its opponent, plowing into a snowbank with a surprised squeak of agitation. Darts slaps a hand to his face with a groan. "Blind, I forgot..."

The Litleo wastes little time in taking advantage of its opponent's self-inflicted misdirection, leaping onto the back of the shaggy-maned figure buried in the snow and burying its fangs into the back of its foe with a wicked Crunch attack. The dragon squeals in surprise and pain, rolling around to try and dislodge its enemy. The Deino finally rights itself, shaking the Litleo off into the snow, and Darts sees an opening. "Deino, use Headbutt, straight ahead!" A crunch of another kind sounds through the clearing as the Deino whips its solid-skulled head into the Litleo's face, sending the little lion sprawling down with a mewl of pain and a little surprise of its own. The Fire-type backs up with an aggressive growl before turning and sprinting away, off into the snow. Darts lets it go, no desire to cause unnecessary pain to the little lion. The Deino lets out a triumphant chirp, turning towards the snowbank next to it for praise with a toothy grin.

"Uh..." As soon as the gambler makes a sound, the little Dragon realizes its error and spins to face him with another happy squeak. "Good job Deino, come back for now." He returns the Pokemon and sets off in no particular direction again, the snow getting scarcer and scarcer as he nears what he assumed was the source of the geothermal activity in the area. He wouldn't have long to wait until he ran into his next Pokemon...

"Cyndaaaaa!"

"Holy Xerneas! A Cyndaquil!"

"Cyn?" The Cyndaquil noticed Trish and her Pokemon immediately, tucking into a fiery ball and zooming towards the duo with a Flame Wheel attack.

"Idina, jump!" The little Fox did as she was bade, jumping high into the air and just barely avoiding the fast-moving fireball that was Cyndaquil. "Psyshock! Use that item I gave you." Idina focused her mid and, as her energy gathered, a soft blue glow shone from beneath her chest fur, the Twisted Spoon enhancing her natural psionic capabilities. The much-larger-than-normal orb of psychic energy flew towards Cyndaquil, hitting the Fire-type before it could turn and see it coming.

Tumbling forwards a bit the little Cyndaquil turned and let loose a billowing black cloud with Smokescreen. As soon as Idina's vision was blocked, it moved to a more advantageous position and let loose with a massive Inferno.

"Idina, look out! Defend with Fire Spin!" Idina nodded and let loose a horizontal fire tornado to literally fight the fire with fire. The two blazes met and fought for dominance for a few seconds before a massive explosion was triggered. The cataclysmic eruption of flames blasted both parties several yards down the tunnel they inhabited.

"Idina, no!"

"Fen!"

"Quil!"

Before Trish could even all another order, her Pokemon's eyes took on a bright glow, her Twisted Spoon began to levitate before her before a twisting beam of energy erupted from the spoon, blasting Cyndaquil into the tunnel wall, where it slumped to the ground, knocked out by the impact. Trish prepared to throw a Pokeball but before she was able, a Typhlosion rushed from further down the tunnel, snatched the tiny Fire Mouse Pokemon up and disappeared into the shadows.

"Fils de pute!" Trish exclaimed swearing in her native tongue at the missed opportunity. "You ok, Idina?" She asked her little Fox, kneeling down to check her over. Idina nodded, yipping happily as she did.

"That looked like a Psybeam attack. When did you learn that?"

Idina gave her trainer a puzzled look, giving Trish all the answer she needed. "I guess that means just now. That's good, though. It means you know four attacks, now."

Deciding to forget about Cyndaquil and search for something else, Trish began to move in the direction the wind she felt was coming from. It felt good in this sweltering tunnel so it might lead back outside.

A Aron would jump off a ice pillar slamming down on gabreils head with an Iron Tail. "Whats with all these Pokemon? They are so hostile. Well Gabriel, use Zen Headbutt" The Rex would roar charging its head along the ice, skating towards the little steel type. It was faster than he expected as it made him charge straight into the pillar it used to leap. The large block of ice would crumble down on his head. The blistering cold and glass like fractals scratched and blistered the beasts head.

"Gabriel! No! That's it teach this little Блядь!" Clara wouldn't notice she slipped into Russian when trying to curse, "Gabriel Smite this little retch for they have struck the wrong note, Use Earthquake!"

Gabriel would stop at his riders command, throwing the steel type flying back in a wave of destruction. As it flew backwards, it flew against another pillar of ice fainting. The ice no doubt began to crack below their feet, from the mighty shock. The beast began running from the wave of cracking ice, chasing them closing more and more.

This place was starting to get a tiny bit annoying to RC.

As Trish and Idina walked the tunnels, they found it to be inhabited, in places, by small feathered rodents. By which, of course, we refer to Flecthling, the Pidgey of Kalos. The fire birds were nothing more than a nuisance to Trish and she had no qualms with making that evident as one flew forwards ad attempted to peck at her face, apparently trying to defend it's nest nestled into a crevice in the tunnel wall.

"Idina, Psyshock!" The attack was simple enough to perform but Flecthling's speed allowed it to evade with relative ease and begin whipping up a powerful whirlwind. Said whirlwind was ended by a Fire Spin wrapping the bird in flames, causing the blades of it's Razor Wind to explode in close range, knocking the bird unconscious with it's own attack.

"Huh....That was kind of pathetic." Trish commented, leaving the bird laying unconscious on the tunnel floor as the trainer and Pokemon duo searched for the world outside the tunnel system.
