After few moments in silence and Sabine's ragged breathing starts to even out, a small sign that the sprig she frantically ate is starting to take a mild sedative effect on her. The mare listens to Yiska's voice talking about his herd and why he are here, her blue eyes meets his magenta eyes in confusion. "From the sound of it, you are relieved about your mothers being relieved of their position.. but what will happen to them or you?" Her curious nature is starting to come out but it was dashed away when both owls that is warring somewhere above their head started to screech and shriek at top of their lungs before the victorious owl perched somewhere nearby, hooting at top of his lungs. With a nervous shiver, the mare hunkers down closely against Yiska with a small sigh while closing her eyes, muttering quietly to half to herself "Those owls will be a death of me one of those days.."

Detecing the smile in Yiska's voice, she peers up at him curiously before his eyes darts away nervously when she got an eyeful of his horn and it reminds her of why she's afraid of him in the first place. "A-a-a bit better.... thank you.." She timidly says as she chanced a peek over at Yiska, realizing that she is not cold anymore and she is feeling more calmer now with her body pressed up against his side. Fidgeting around a bit, Sabine takes in a deep breath and gives the stallion a shaky smile before she tries to stand up but her legs were still too shaky and it brought her crashing back to the ground with a squeak. "S-sorry. Looks like I can't move for a while." She says with a wince as that impact with the ground definitely will leave some marks on her muscles the next sun cycle.

Sabine frowns a bit to herself as she feels like she is being a hindrance to this stallion because he could have been off doing other things instead of playing a nursemaid to her. "Y-You c-c-can go, if you want to... I-I-I will be fine here..." She stammers out with a shaky smile as she looks around at the area, trying to look like she's not scared but the whites of her eyes is betraying her. "This place seems pretty safe.. " She looks up at him and nods little, trying to look like she's reassuring him but in reality, she's trying to reassure herself that she is safe and she will be all right until she can get up and walk again.

Yiska looked over the mare as she tried to stand, but only landed herself back onto the ground. Well, looks like it had a bit more of an effect on her than he had expected. But he shook his head as she mentioned that she was fine and he could leave. Now what kind of host would he be if he was to leave his guest here in the night and with other critters warring for grounds and mates.

"I wouldn't feel right leaving you here alone, what kind of healer would I be? Well... That is what rank I am hoping to take up with all this other stuff happening in the herd lands." He didn't say anything to the fact that in a way he was happy that his mothers were stepping down. It meant that he wasn't going to be a potential heir in their stead.

"It is good that you are feeling better, now if things full of raging hormones would calm down. The night would be more peaceful" Part of this he said in the direction of the owl.

Sabine cranes her head as the sprig indeed does have more than sedative effect on her and she looks at Yiska after she leans against him once again after telling him that he's free to go if he wanted to... that means she's sending him a mixed signal to what she want him to do. "Oh... you are a healer..." She murmurs as she leans away from him and peers at him. "That would explain why you refused to leave my side awhile ago like others would have done." She says wonderingly and a genuine smile without any shakiness appears on her face but it didn't last that long when the victorious owl starts hooting aggressively at something.

"You keep speaking of the herds but you aren't aggressive or scary like other herds I have encountered." The white tigress quietly commented as she shifts her weight around so she could settle down comfortably. "What kind of herd is it and why is everything shifting around? Is the system in that herd broken?" She inquires as she peers up at him, feeling more calm and relaxed now since she discovered that he's a healer so he won't be using that horn harmful things... so she hopes. "You are going back there, are you?" Sabine says while she flinches away at the owl's angry noises.

"I would h-have to agree with you..." The mare frowns nervously as she glances at the owl that won't shut up. "Do you think the owl is angry because we are still here...?" Sabine says worriedly as she glances at the owl and shrinks back when the owl's bright golden angry eyes meets hers. "I am getting a feeling that we are not welcome here.." her head droops little bit.

"It is something that I am interested in, as a colt I followed the healers around learning in secret what was used for what. Trying my own magic on wounded animals to try and set things right. Being a potential hair didn't give her many options." Yiska said looking away from the mare as if he was ashamed of what he could have been. He had not the want to be a leader, even if someday others might look to him for it. "But seeing you as you were, its not like I could leave you. There might have been things worse than patrols out there."

Yiska knew that those of his kin and herd wouldn't harm the mare, rather try and coax her back to the herd grounds until the sun was high over head. The Moonlight herd wasn't one for violence unless it was brought upon them and there was no other way out other than to fight. He hated the idea of it all, there would have been much for him to do, but it would have been a shameful endeavor.

Shifting his gaze over towards the owl that glared in their direction, Yiska shuffled a little before taking to his own hooves. It was bad enough to have them warring over head, he didn't need this one staring at them. Prancing over to the tree that the owl perched in, the stallion turned and gave the trunk a good kick to dislodged the bird. "Begone before you vex me further," Yiska said up at the owl, not going to take anything from the feathered pest. "Begone and war elsewhere should anyone else come for your land."

Not really waiting for an answer from the feathered rat, Yiska returned to where he was beside the mare, his side pressed against hers once more. "The herd of my birth is one who only fights when there is great need. Its name is the Moonlight Herd, pacifists mostly, while we do have some hunters in there herd, Alcors. Kin to one of my mothers, my cousins really. They make up most the patrolling force." He shrugged a little letting his gaze wander over to where the owl had been, hoping the thing was gone for the night.

"That's what the horn is for... healing magic.." Sabine manages to comment as she leans back, finally taking a good look at his horn curiously but there's a tremor of fear snaking down her spine causing her to shudder visibly because the horn looks really sharp and huge. It might be used for healing but she's fully aware that the horn can be used for taking as well and that still terrifies her. Allowing the male's voice along with the sprig she have been chewing on bring her heart rate and blood pressure down, Sabine summons up a nervous smile as she looks at Yiska. "Healing is my passion too.. along with foals. My sister is more like a warrior while I enjoy helping others and find ways to heal them." She manages to make her voice sound confident instead of trembly and she nods at him to show him that she's starting to calm down more.

"Unfortunately, I don't really know that much about herbs and how to heal others..." She says with a quiet sigh because ever since she separated from her sister, she have been constantly moving so she didn't get any opportunities to really learn everything about herbs and how to use them to help others. Nodding little bit as she silently agrees with the male about worse things that isn't patrols, Sabine's eyes darts around nervously while she subconsciously hunkers against Yiska's body when her eyes meets the owl's eyes, the owl ruffles up and hooted at them in annoyance. The owl screeches at Yiska in fury and flares his wings up before taking off to roost somewhere because its almost time for him to sleep until the sun goes down again.

"Your herd sounds like a perfect place because there wouldn't be any fighting or tension at all." Sabine murmurs wistfully as she closes her eyes, her head resting against his neck. "Did you have a mentor.. like.. to learn about herbs and how to use that horn of yours to help others? Do you need to have a horn to be a healer?" She asks while there's a hitch in her voice because she would be really devastated if she needed to have a horn to help others when it comes to healing.

"It is the main thing that it is used for, I have cousins that use theirs for defensive purposes. They take care of the boarders and keep those with malicious intent from doing harm, but healing is always nice to have." said watching the owl move away to somewhere else, which pleased the stallion greatly, cause he didn't want to hurt anything this night. "There are plenty of teachers in the herd. I have yet to really speak to any of them. I only know the few things I picked up as a foal and yearling."

Turning his head a little to one side in thought, Yiska pondered over who would be able to teach the mare beside him in the arts of healing. There wasn't really a need for a horn, he knew of one that wasn't like himself. She had wings and was born to one of the lead families... If only he could remember what her name was, it was on the tip of his tongue... And she had really only just returned from the smithing lands to restore that which was lost.

"Having a horn is an added bonus to healing, but you don't have to have one. There are a few healers in the herd who don't have them. One is the Granddaughter of one of the new herd leaders. While she was a warrior before something befell her blade and caused it to shatter. She's Lyra, like her own parents and Grandfather." He turned his head back to look at the mare who was leaning against him.

Well this was a strange thing he had gotten himself into. Intent on being by himself, it seemed that not even gods want him to be alone. Shaking his head to himself, Yiska sighed, shifting a little to get cozy, since he didn't see himself moving for a while.

"So you have a sister too? I had one, I don't know what became of her. I think she left when my other mother did." Yiska puzzled, but dismissed any thoughts that came to his mind.

Sabine's ears perks forward as she listens to Yiska's voice attentively because this is a stallion that shares her passion and knows a lot about healing so she's very eager to soak up any information he's willing to offer to her. "Oooh... learning by observing them?" She looks at him curiously, visibly relaxing when she knows that the horrid owl isn't around to pester them now. "Why didn't you talk to those teachers? You could have gleaned a lot of healing wisdom from them?" Sabine inquires in confusion because that's what she would have done in first place. Her pale eyes flickers toward his horn again when she remembered him mentioning about his cousins using theirs for defensive purposes and she nods slightly in mute agreement because she definitely can see horns being used that way.

Leaning her head against his neck, Sabine closes her eyes and relaxes completely against his body with her tail resting lightly on top of his own and there's some kind of contented horse noises coming from her while she stretches her body out with her ears pointed toward him because she's eager to learn more about him, his herd and healing. "Ah. So horn is not necessary.." She murmurs as she could feel her heart leaping in joy at the thought of being able to learn how to heal others.

"Mm..." Sabine glances up at him curiously. "Maybe your herd is a right herd for me and my sister if I can ever find her.." She finally says after pondering on what he have been saying about his herd and ability to heal without horn. Realizing that she's being completely snuggled up against his body, she jerked away from him and scrambles up to her hooves like she got electrified by his touch and she exhales forcefully with a nervous smile dancing across her muzzle. "Yes, I do have a twin sister actually.. her name is Siryn Tigera and she's an orange version of me. She's like... a polar opposite from me." She chuckles little bit before she frowns at Yiska in concern. "Oh no... you don't know where your mother or sister are at?" She says with a hint of sadness in her voice as she peers at Yiska. "Maybe ... I can help you find her...." She says uncertainly, not sure what Yiska is planning on doing and she doesn't want him to feel like she's latching on him like a desperate foal.
