Kaida looked thoughtful as she looked around, still moving. "Yes...though we certainly can't be the only ones angry." She looked to him with a soft smile that was contrary to the ice in her eyes. "Perhaps we could gather allies in our teeth-punching." That actually was a rather nice thought...While she was generally a sweet person, some things just...got under her skin and made her so very angry.

"An entire - if small - army of people lining up to punch the teeth out of people who would harm children?" Kells hummed thoughtfully, and smiled. "I rather like that idea. And frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few within that faction who would like to join us. Whatever their goals may be for the world and humanity at large, I can't think this group would be filled entirely with those willing to bring harm to small children." And if he was wrong? Well, then they would deserve far, far more than a teeth-kicking. "Before we take any action, however, we'll need to gather experience and intel, the both of us - and any others who get involved." Such as the newly-awakened Sailors Elpis and Ausonia, for instance. Kells was quite aware that there would be no keeping his daughter and her... her... that boy out of things. "But when we can strike, we'll make certain it's remembered. Wouldn't you agree, my dear lady?"

"Yes. Yes we will. Bastards such as those deserve whatever we can inflict." They and their monsters. Perhaps it might be worthwhile to dig into her non-fiction books again. She was certain she had a copy of Sun Tzu somewhere in there...She took a deep breath, then looked to him with a smile.
"Shall we spar then, cher chevalier? Prepare us both a little more for the confrontations to come?" And she might have wanted to see if he moved as fluidly fighting as he seemed to otherwise.

"I agree wholeheartedly," Kells said, then bowed and offered his hand to Hyakutake. "Indeed, my lady," he answered with a smile. "We could both use the practice, after all. So then - shall we dance?"

She felt her cheeks warm a bit, but took his hand with a giggle. "Yes, let's. We can find out which of us is in the most need of lessons. Ground rules?" Best to set those before anything else. "No headshots is a given, I'd think."

"No headshots, if someone needs to stop, call out and the other must cease what they're doing immediately... any other ideas?" Kells wanted this to go smoothly, without anyone getting truly injured.

"No groin shots for you, obviously." She didn't want to make the gorgeous man resent her, okay. [And being best friends with two guys gave her a bit of sympathy when it came to that.] Hyakutake shifted a bit, ready to start when he was. "Otherwise...we'll use our common sense?"Redbud-Tree Roll 1d4, 1 = Miss, 2 = Bide, 3 = Glance, 4 = Definite hit?

"I rather appreciate that," Kells said, managing a grin. "Especially given I know how strong this.... magic," (ew. Why magic. Why? He much preferred science!) "makes us." Backing off, he readied himself, book to hand. The page wasn't quite sure what he was going to do, exactly, but hitting someone with a book could be somewhat effective. Couldn't it? Das Tor Sounds good to me! Start on your next post?]

"It's rather interesting, really. I underestimated what I could do the first few nights. It resulted in some...rather creative bruises and scrapes." She'd had a hell of a time explaining those away!
She started to move about, watching Kells carefully. She didn't want to make herself look like a fool in front of him, nope.

"I can imagine," Kells said, watching Hyakutake. The way she moved was quite lovely... but he couldn't allow himself to get distracted. If an ally could shake his focus, an enemy would take shameless advantage of such a weakness! Determined to prove his combat ability, Kells sidestepped the senshi and in one graceful move... he thwacked her in the side with his 'weapon' - a moleskine journal. Not the most effective of tools, but with a knight's strength it still had weight behind it!

Hyakutake squeaked as the book hit her with a solid 'thwack', the woman moving to one side to avoid getting hit again and stricking out with a kick aimed at his midsection. Tit for tat, she hoped. At least she hadn't expected the book to not hurt! [Unlike some idiots out there. Who disliked books. Fools.]Quote: 3: Glance I so fail at fights.

The impact Hyakutake managed wasn't enough to knock Kells back, but he moved backwards anyway - to get some space between him and the senshi, so he could watch for her next move.

She had landed a hit, even if it had been a glancing one, and that...really, that spurred her on. Hyakutake ducked down, surging forward to try and sweep his legs out from under him with another kick. While she was small, she had longer legs than arms, and she was going to take advantage of that against his greater height and reach.

The kick made Kells stumble, but unfortunately for Hyakutake he was already moving, so that took some of the weight from her hit. He retaliated by turning as he stumbled, trying to use the momentum to land a hit on her - but was only partially successful.

She was moving when he struck out at her, and was able to avoid the hit somewhat before she tried to trip him again. No, she totally didn't want to sit on his stomach for the victory of short versus tall. Not at all.
Okay, maybe a little. There was just something amusing in her head about the tiny person sitting on the much larger fallen opponent.
"Almost seems like we're literally dancing, cher chevalier."
