She knew when Corinth was heading in for his attacks. It was an odd thing really to sort of instinctually know when you're fighting partner was moving in to kick the enemy and she really didn't know what to do with that sort of information. Or, more like, she knew it useful just was too afraid to utilize it.

But, then Corinth's attack turned into him being practically molested by the creature.

What could she possibly do? If there was one lesson she had taken out of her previous fight it was that she was a terrible fighter. So terrible in fact the Nega she had fought barely had a scratch on him while she had been forced into the hospital.

Oh no... What should I do? She stood there.

I am no good at this!

Corinth was at first concerned that there was no follow up from Harmoina - maybe she'd found a really nifty piece of rebar and was on her way now to smash the youma to death with it... Maybe she was getting ready to flank it and help him kick the s**t out of it.

That concern swiftly gave way to both fear and annoyance when none of those scenarios played out.

"HARMONIA ARE YOU ******** THERE?! A LITTLE HELP!"

He wasn't trying to be mean or anything - he just didn't want to die.

He started to kick more at the thing even as he felt the sucker begin to latch onto his neck, he could swear there were little teeth in it and the last thing he wanted was to find out how long they actually were.

"HELP, NOW, PLEASE!"

She was so caught up in her thoughts and memories that she was barely aware of the fight going on in front of her. So many doubts, worries and uncertanties backed up by each painful blow she had received were all that encompassed her. The world, at that moment, didn't exist unless it was within her mind.

The sound of Corinth's yelling slowly broke through her bubble. She had barely registered his first screams for help as she readjusted to the world around her. Slowly she saw the horror unfold in front of her eyes, the real horror that was taking place at that moment and not something that had occurred in the past.

And Corinth yelled again.

Oh god...if I don't do anything he's gonna...

That single thought pushed everything else away and Harmonia was reacting without thinking. She pounded her way across the roof to the horror movie worthy youma and arched her attack so that she would come up alongside the creature and hopefully avoid any more tentacles that the thing could have possibly been hiding in it's jaws. Harmonia knew avoiding it's gaze would be nigh impossible but she didn't care. She just wanted to get it's attention off of Corinth.

Rounding on it's side she placed a well aimed kick just under it's spindly legs hoping that maybe it had an anatomy similar to any other creature and had lungs or a stomach in that general area.

Corinth would have made some sort of snide comment at that moment about it taking her long enough but he was too intent on not getting his throat opened by the youma that he let it go for the moment. Instead he focused on struggling as best he cold against the tentacles, his fingers pulling at the one on his neck as he groaned, feeling the youma shake as Harmonia kicked it, it's grip loosening a little as it tried to turn its attention to the other attacker.

He lashed out with a few more kicks, these aimed at conveniently close eyes. This caused the creature to actually cringe and emit a rattle that Corinth could only assume was pain.

"GO FOR THE EYES."

Yes, go for the eyes boo, go for the eyes.

Corinth wasn't dead yet. Whatever she had done had at least achieved that effect!

The odd, obviously pained noises coming from the creature caught the senshi's attention as she looked saw Corinth attack it again from it's grip.

Noting that Corinth didn't appear to be truly getting free of the creature's tentacles she moved herself closer to the Knight so that she could lend him a hand if needed. At Corinth's command though she turned her attention to the numerous eyeballs.

Picking out a rather ugly eye (Not that it was a hard choice) Harmonia threw a punch at the creature. She barely pulled back when she switched and kicked at another one.

She took a moment to see if their attacks were allowing Corinth to break free from the monsters grasp before punching towards yet another eye. It was truthfully like target practice with fists and kicks as the ammo.

As they began to play whack-a-mole with the youma's eyes, Corinth realized something horrifying. The suckers definitely had teeth or barbs of some sort - they were retractable, and they were now slowly sinking into the skin of his neck, which was now starting to ooze copious amounts of blood... and energy - into the youma.

"Dust the ********..." he grunted, his arms starting to weaken as he tried to rip the sucker off his neck, accomplishing the task by tearing a good portion of the skin off as well. His neck was weeping large waves of blood at this point, an he was getting light headed. But it was life or death now, so he forced himself to push on.

He could pass out later.

"Just... hammer the eyes."

His other arm, now free of its tentacle because it had turned its attention to Harmonia and was attempting to wrap her up, spun his drum and slammed it into the nearest eye he could find.

OH! He's bleeding! The sight of the blood was enough to almost stun Harmonia into stopping what she was doing but Corinth's words spurred her on. That and the relization that if it wasn't dusted soon there was a very good likely hood that Corinth wasn't going to survive the fight and whether that was going to be from the draining or the blood loss was yet to be seen.

So with renewed vigor to not potentially loose a friend, Harmonia continued with her assault on the creatures eyes. One after another she worked at bashing, kicking and pummeling the eyes that could do little to fight back. Except, ya know, that one trailing tentacle that had managed to find her.

She felt the appendage a split second too late. As she attempted to jump out of it's way it drew tight on her left leg. She managed not to fall completely as her direction of motion was halted abruptly. With not much of a choice in the matter she momentarily stopped her attacks on the eyes to slam the heel of her boot into the offending tentacle around her leg hoping to deter it from wanting to hold onto her for long.

She didn't want to stall her attacks on the eyes any longer though and quickly turned back to it's main body to throw yet another series of punches. Each one emphasized by her words. "Let. Us. Go!"

When the youma's tentacle was pinned under Harmoina's boot, the creature let out a legitimate whine it's body going slack for a moment, giving Corinth time to pull the other tentacle completely away from his neck. The sucker on the pinned tentacle sought purchase on Harmonia's skin, the barbs extending and retracting with each attempt to find purchase. Hoping to give her a chance to escape, Corinth began smashing what eyes he could reach, but there were a handful left in harder to reach places, but the youma seemed intent on pulling back for now.

But Corinth wasn't having that.

He dug in his heels, tightened his grip on the tentacle as the youma made every attempt to pull away, gnashing its teeth at them but little else.

Seeing Corinth finally pull free was a relief and the creature was obviously hurting from their ongoing attacks. We can totally dust this thing!

The lick of barbs and teeth on her leg caused Harmonia to instantly turn her attention back to the tentacle that was trying to dig itself into the flesh of her leg. "No you don't!" As the Knight smashed more eyes she gave the creature another good stomping from her boot on it's tentacle. After all, the last similar attack had delivered very pleasing results. She didn't stop with one good stomp though but slammed her boot onto the tentacle multiple times before pinning it and trying to pull her other leg away.

And then it attempted to retreat. Oh no you don't.

Aiming at some of the more guarded eyes, Harmonia threw rather unrestrained and very poorly formed punches (Not that her punches ever really had good form) to try and reach them as she tried to reach around to them. "There's only a few left!"

Corinth grunted assent, though right now his head was swimming and it was pretty much all he could do to stay on his feet from loss of blood, but he use that to his avandtage and since he was probably going to pass out an die anyway might as well use his last ounces of strength to win the fight.

Wrapping the other tentacle around his arm, he allowed body to crumple to the ground, effectively pinning the youma beneath his weight as it whine an attempted to break free.

"Finish it," was all he manage to grunt out as he just let the pain wash over his body and his ears began to roar.

Seeing Corinth land on top of the Youma and it appearing to not, completely, be planned, HArmonia knew that he was in trouble. No. no. No!

She didn't even need to hear his words to begin pounding on the creature with all the strength she had. One by one she targeted each eye as the creature attempted to escape but could not budge from under her companions weight. Harmonia wasted no time. She just focused on her task and barely registed each beady eyed target as they crumpled away under her attacks.

Finally, she found what she thought was the last one tucked up under on of it's almost non proportional legs. Kicking out and up she felt more than saw her target's demise.

Corinth lay there on his back, covered in a fine layer of youma dust and allowed himself a well earned groan. He was alive - albeit beaten up. Rolling over on his side slowly, he cussed.

"Good job..." He managed to sputter out before forcing himself onto his hands and knees so that way if he did end up getting sick he'd not make a royal mess of himself.

"The ******** took you so long."

He was a bit grouchy now, to be fair.

With the Youma's dusting Harmonia felt a sort of elation. It was so satisfying to see the creature disappear that she smiled as she stood there catching her breath and looking down at Corinth trying to assess his injuries.

"Thanks!" She reached over to him to offer a hand up when he quickly dashed her good mood and left her staring at him in shock and guilt.

"I um...I..." She really didn't know what to say. It wasn't like she had purposely ignored the trouble he was in.

"I am sorry..."

"Mhphm... The apology is appreciated and accepted, but seriously, the ******** - were you taking a selfie?" That had been a thing, he was no longer sure it was a thing - but hell if he cared he thought such things were completely stupid.

"You were gung-ho as hell when we started - what happened?" He finally sat up, and was in the process of shrugging off his jacket with the intent to wad it up and press it against his neck, which was still weeping blood, but thankfully not nearly as much or nearly as fast.

“I don’t know!” She practically yelled in frustration. She wasn’t angry at him, he deserved an answer and yet she was afraid to admit that she had balked because of fear. She was, still is, afraid! How do you come out and say that to someone that had almost died because you were afraid of being hurt and finding out you really are useless as a senshi. She had thought she was ready. Harmonia had been determined to come out here and do her best. Mind she had wanted nothing more than a routine patrol but she should have been ready.

And because of her mistake Corinth had almost bled to death. To increase her guilt she watched as he attempted to halt the flood of red with his coat.

Guiltily she walked over to him, and without asking she knelt down behind him and took over applying pressure to his wound. Carefully she pushed down on the wound only lifting the material up for a few quick glances at the progress of her ministrations before pushing down again.

“I...I almost died.” Her voice was barely above a whisper and shaky as the words escaped from her. “About 2 weeks ago I ran into a Lieutenant. I was nothing more than a punching bag for him. I couldn’t do anything and...if Camelot hadn’t saved me I am pretty sure that Nega would have taken my starseed.” Speaking about it caused the memory of the Nega’s hand in her chest to fondle her starseed arose and she gave a bit more pressure to Corinth’s wound. “I just froze when the youma started attacking and I was afraid I’d be useless again and you got hurt because of it and...I am so so sorry.” Her voice hitched towards the end of her confession as tears slid down her face but she didn’t move from her position behind him as if it was her saving grace to care for his wounds now.
