It turned out that yelling as she had really didn't help the Dormouse ghoul's cause because the few Kushi that had been around fled at the loud sound however despite the lack of Kushi anywhere the yell had served to revitalize Camilla's determination and so she continued searching all while having a determined expression

After a moment Camilla looks around briefly to see if any Kushi were around when none came into view she looks forwards again then continues on her way

Slipping back into her thoughts her tail begins to sway lightly even under all the sweaters and coat tied around her waste the Dormouse ghoul's appearance must certainly be something to behold to the stone Kushi... Had they ever even seen a humaniod mouse before? Did they even realize she was a rodent like them? After a moment of musing on that another thought occures to Camilla not all minis were very smart... The Dormouse ghoul was lucky so far all her minis were pretty intelligent for minis and responded well to training but most minis weren't like that... If these Kushi were anything like regular Halloween mice they relied mostly on instinct and very basic intelligence to get them through life rather then the deep complex thoughts that she had the ability to use...

Stopping the Dormouse ghoul looks up at the sky letting herself mull over that thought a bit before looking forwards again "I'm expecting to much from these Kushi..." she says softly to herself as she realizes just how spoiled by her own minis she was

(Attempting to Roll)(And Kiss a Darn Kushi!)

The Dormouse ghoul's shoed feet pounded against the grass as she ran making her bid for another part of the maze a slightly noiser affair that too was one of her problems and why she now realized it truely must have been a fluke that she'd pounced that one Kushi Camilla rarely wore shoes and had little idea how to move quietly in them she was tempted to stop and take them off but then that would just be one more thing to carry and while she was nowhere near feeling strained or tired from all the things she carried it still seemed unnecessary

Finally a good ten minutes after she started the Dormouse ghoul slows to a stop then puts her hands on her knees to support her weight while she caught her breath even though Camilla was fit as a fiddle and full of energy ten minutes of full out running was enough to make her have to catch her breath for a minute ...and it seemed like it was a minute well worth taking because not long after she stopped one of Camilla's ears twitch as she hears the tell tail sound of rustling leaves

Freezing she looks up to see curious eyes watching her carefully "Ku-!" she squeaks stopping short and bitting her tongue quickly to keep from crying out in excitement as her eyes widen luckily her small excited cry didn't scare the Kushi away and in fact seemed to make it even more curiouser after a moment Camilla takes a deep breath to calm her excitement before looking directly at the Kushi and smiling lightly "Hello there little one..." she says as softly and gently as she could muster at the moment

Blinking cautiously at her the Kushi continues to watch the Dormouse ghoul after taking another tense breath Camilla slowly kneels down to one knee and as she does the Kushi twitches its whiskers then tilts it head curious by what she was doing when she was fully down Camilla slowly holds her hand out and smiles once more "It's ok... c'mere little one..." she says gently hopefully even now more curious then before the Kushi begins to wander closer to her all while watching her closely

Camilla was tense as anything as she tried her best to stay as still and calm as she could but deep inside she was practically bursting with excitement and a great desire to simply jump up and pounce the Kushi fortunately she was able to hold that desire back by channeling her excitement into her tail which twitched and occasionally flicked in excitement however Camilla had to becareful though if she let her tail go too wild it might scare off the Kushi

As the Kushi finally moved close to her hand and gave it a cautionary sniff Camilla realized she was hardly breathing after making a conscious effort to take a gentle breath the Dormouse ghoul takes a risk and reaches out slowly with her other hand eyeing the approaching appendage suspiciously the Kushi waited tensed and ready to run incased Camilla tried anything funny "It's alright..." she says breathlessly in what she hoped was a soothing tone before gently touching the Kushi's head with one of her fingers...

It froze then she froze afraid that moving even a hair would scare the Kushi off both rodents sat stock still for a long moment as the Kushi tried to decide whether it should stay or run finally after what felt like forever the Kushi relaxes a bit which allows Camilla to relax a smidge and gently run her finger down the Kushi's back when she finished much to the Dormouse ghoul's relief the Kushi lets out a pleased squeak "Thats right... I won't hurt you..." She says softly before repeating the proccess eventually after two more strokes the Kushi decides that Camilla was ok and climbs happily into her hand

Letting out a strained but happy breath Camilla had to fight her hardest against the desire to cheer as she continues to pet the Kushi and raise it slowly closer to her face the Kushi seemed to be marveling at the view it now had and didn't seem to have any objections to being brought up so high finally the Kushi was a hares breath away from her lips and she ever so softly plants a gentle kiss ontop of the Kushi's head

Finally it was the excited squeaks from the Kushi in her hand that snapped Camilla out of her inner cheering "Hm?" she hums questioningly as the Kushi in her hand waves to all tne Kushi that had gathered around her "Oh! Hi there!" she says almost a bit to excitedly to the other Kushi a few dashed back but some of the braver ones stayed put freezing Camilla gives them a friendly gentle smile however it was the insistent squeaks from the Kushi in her hand that drew the few that had fled back

Relaxing a bit Camilla nods to the Kushi in hand as it taps one of her fingers and points down slowly she sets her hand down and allows the Kushi to leave without making any moves to stop it as it runs over to its friends the Dormouse ghoul takes the chance to slowly move so she was sitting on both knees once in a more comfortable position she sets her hands in her lap and listens to the myriad of squeaks around her she found it both funny and a bit sad that even though the squeaks sounded just like squeaks used in the rodent language she couldn't understand a word of it...

Camilla waited as patiently as she could while the Kushis talked some of the more curious ones moved to look at her tail while others just blinked cautiously at her eventually the Kushi she kissed seemed to finish talking and the whole group moved closer finally it was a bold little orange and white Kushi that came up to her and tapped her leg then pointed up "Hm? You want up? Alright!" she says cheerfully though softly before slowly lowering her hand down for the Kushi to climb into fearlessly it hops into her hand and turns expectantly so its back was facing her laughing softly Camilla begins petting the Kushi while raising it up towards her face when it was close to her lips she gives it a light kiss before whispering "Thanks for trusting me..."
