Sauron liked that the youngling trusted him so far as to do that, in his position Sauron didn't think he could trust anyone except Isaris, especially at such a tender young age. What could he say about the mother who had given her life for her youngest son. "I am sure your mother would have wanted your version as the truth. Issaly is a wonderful child, kind and sweet, even after such adversity as you both have seen. You did right by him Isaris."

He paused this was so hard to say and yet his heart drove him to do it. "I would...I would not be at all opposed to .... acting as a father to Issaly. I have more er...love to give. There is nothing more important to me then family." He had gone into Oba to save them, because fate had handed them a crappy hand and now that he had saved them he felt responsible for them. "I would also like to offer the same father figure thing to you, I understand if you feel differently though." Sauron felt the sting of salt on his skin near his eyes, the pain of the poison was all but forgotten.

Sauron sidled over and wrapped an arm around Isaris. Affection yes but he thought that maybe they both needed it right now. "I wouldn't call you damaged just a bit knicked." He grinned through the awful leaky things on his face, referring to Isaris's scars. "You know I just noticed the other day that Kelina had some too, does that make me a bad husband? Think she will swat me?" He chuckled the emotions flowing from near meltdown to near hysterical chuckles.

Then he stumbled and remembered his bum leg, how inconvinient it was now. "Ow. Cursed venom."

"I don't think I need the antidote, it should leave me within about four hours for this amount, best thing to do is drink fluids and not murder our nice pillows cause they look like those evil bug things." He too waved the villagers off, leaning on the young man's shoulders and trying not to bang his achey fiery burny leg.

He felt all warm and fuzzy and rediculously happy again, everything seemed to be doing all right again. Well better then alright. He got to the house took a drink and practically dove onto the bed. "Ahhhhnnngh." he moaned, satisfied. "You won't believe how good these feel. Except ahh," he hissed, "could you find a cloth and dunk it in some cool water please?" He pilled pillows under his leg..which was not its usual smooth self. It puffed up and looked rather purplish. Ick. No wonder those spiders were feared.

Sauron pinched thumb and forfinger, "Little bit most like, I'll probably get more of the tanning but I'm lucky that her belly messes with her bow work somewhat. Don't tell her I said that." he grinned.

"And well I had wanted to ask for a while, but it just never felt like the right time you know, such a delicate subject." he placed the cool cloth on his leg, hissed then sighed, "Much better."

"The other good thing about this is if anyone else gets bitten by one of those menzuri things, I'll know how they feel and hopefully what to do..if I start looking awful best get the antidote, as long as I'm flailing strongly I'm probably in the clear, just watch for fever." he thanked Isaris for the cloth.

"They should be arriving rather soon, the hallucinations, I can feel that the venom has spread far enough now."

Sauron smiled dreamily, "She is the best...everything, you have no idea." He said dreamily, his Kelina....

"Yes that worries me as well, hes a bit too attatched, I hope that time away will cure it. Maybe if he made a few friends here you know? Some non Oban friends."

Sauron's eyes widened. What were those things coming into the house, kinda like big black demon rats with red eyes. He hissed and waved his arms at them. "There are not rats coming in are there?" He asked glaring at them..he really didn't like the look of these things, like mangy mongrel poscuta and he knew they could bite. "Ick." They crawled closer on clawed feet, scratching crawling, climbing the bed. "Auugh, they are hidious."

He kicked at one and sent it flying, aha he could fight back. Soon enough they covered him and he trashed strongly scrabbling at them and tossing them away from himself.

Soon enough Sauron calmed down and relaxed into a somewhat ruffled heap on his pillows. "I'm sorry about that, they just seeemed so real and then they disapeared. Very odd. Never ever get stung before a battle, nope, nope, nope." he shuddered at the thought. "That last quite a while didn't it, I feel quite wrung out."

He smiled as Isaris kept peeking for Kelina, he doubted she would swat the lad...himself on the other hand well he was durable. She could get away with it. And of course he would tickle her for it later. Actually it was rather fun to have her chase him, but in her current condition it was a bit dangerous. So... he would let her catch him.

He looked at the lad, "I should be able to discuss things now."

Sauron stood shakily, "Do not ever think that I take family lightly, you will always have a home here Isaris you and your brother, and any other of your family you find along the way. I will also look after Issaly if you ever need to travel alone. He will be a fine young shifter, just as yourself. And what you have taught him, is to follow your heart and what you know is right, that is the best advice you can give."

Sauron swayed but braced his legs. "Family is not just blood, it is a mood of the heart."

Sauron patted him, "Its fine," that being said he crumpled back onto the pillows. "And the lovely purple color is started to fade woohoo!" He snorted with mirth.

"Issaly is growing fast, its great to see, at least Jauhar food is agreeing with him.. have you though perhaps about teaching him healing herbs or some such for like upset stomachs and stuff so he doesn't have to deal with blood? I heal as a hobby and the need for ingredients take me out into the forest often. It might help him make a connection with the forest."
