"Still got some fight in you, eh?" Leucite sneered as she tried to twist free and throw another punch at him. He was honestly a little surprised she was still standing, but then, he hadn't hit her in the sweet spot so she lucked out in that regard.

Not that being k.o.ed by him would have saved her any.

But some lessons had to be learned the hard way apparently.

He let go of her arm, instead once more snatching a hold of her hair. Pulling her toward him he brought a knee up hard into her stomach, keeping her head still by virtue of his grip.

"Protip: Cut your ******** hair if you're going to fight, else it's a perfect grip for your opponent... unless you're into that sorta thing." He smirked then - being vulgar on purpose.

He twisted his grip in her hair and pulled, forcing her to stay upright by her hair if she went limp on him. "So," he spat, "should I take your starseed like the dead b***h or should I leave you here to cry over a dead body after I have my way with you..."

She could stew on that last statement however she wanted.

A sleeting moment of being free form his grasp was quickly dashed. Once again he had a hand locked in her hair. She felt the pull and her body followed the direction he wanted her to go while her neck protested the jerky movement towards his body.

The air rushed out of her body as she gasped and sputtered. Her knees finally gave out and she fell as far as his secure grip would allow her. Tears were now running down her face all the while she sputtered and wanted to curl in on the pain but could not thanks to her head being rendered almost immobile.

Harmonia practically missed his vulgar statement about her hair. She had been far too busy sucking in air as much as her bruised body would allow her. Not to mention her jaw would not open completely to allow her as much access to the oxygen she needed. She did -not- miss his last one.

My starseed?

A terror she had never felt before welled up within her as he eyes flew open wide and her body went rigid.

This man was a terror. A monster! He knew how to inflict pain not just physically but mentally as well and it was obvious that he was enjoying every moment of it.

This battle had turned into a fight to survive for Harmonia.

"Hmmm... would your family miss you I wonder? How long would until they realized their little girl wasn't home in bed asleep... How much would they cry when they found her, abused, broken... dead, in a dingy alley, pocket full of cocaine, next to equally dead dealer... Would they sob and say you fell astray little lamb?"

Leucite's grin could only be described as predatory... wolf like, one could say.

"Or would they gnash their teeth and curse your folly... damn you to the hell that you created for yourself..."

His arm jerked her roughly into the wall, he didn't care how badly he roughed her up at this point.

He placed a hand lightly on her chest, draining a little of her energy and then showing her the bright glowing orb.

"Thank you, for your generous donation..." It wasn't a lot, but it was enough for him to be satisfied.

"So should I take your starseed or should I let you live... come, come, convince me - we don't have all night."

No! No! What is he saying! Stop! They'd never believe that I'd do something like that! Never! Except a small spark of doubt was there. He created it and her imagination needed very little to develop a scene for her mind to view and it terrified her. If such a scene played out how could her parents -not- doubt her? The last thing she'd ever want was to hurt them in any way. She was doing this to protect them. She didn't want to cause them pain.

She grunted when her back hit the wall. The rough exterior bit into the exposed skin on her back. Any other day she would have hissed at the stinging pain but now it barely registered in her mind when compared to the condition the rest of her body was in.

When he reached towards her chest she flinched. Despite the lack of willingness to work, Chailee motivated her legs enough and tried to pull away and only managed to scrape her back up more against the wall.

No he can't!

She felt her limbs grow a bit heavier as he drained her. Harmonia's breathing grew rapid and shallow as fear began to sink it's overpowering fingers into her. It did not take much for her to imagine that small ball of light being her starseed.

Her breathing hitched. A sob escaped her as she shook her head. She couldn't speak. The ability to move her jaw was not something within her power and and the best she could do was a slightly slurred and muffled no which she repeated multiple times all the while staring at him with large eyes.

"What's that? You're sorry you've been a very bad, bad girl and you don't want to be punished?" Leucite' tone was mocking down. It was so thick with condescension you'd of thought he was talking to a toddler. "Please, please don't tell your parents that you're a naughty little thing that does whatever she can to get her next fix?"

His eyes locked hers for a moment. "Because that is what they will think. They will think you died a poor, pathetic whimpering slut - trying to get your next fix and probably on the bad end of a deal - or bad product... or both."

"This is your fate, little girl, if you keep to this life..." He leaned in then, bringing his lips close to her ear.

"But we can save you, little lamb... Convert."

He pulled his head back then, his face actually conveying real sadness for once. Almost as if he regretted her life choices. "Or die."

She kept shaking her head but it became more a motion to try and deter her from his words and convince herself that he was wrong than it was to convey to him what she thought.

What he said was hitting hard. Try as she might Harmonia could not stop his malicious words from getting to her. How could she not? She was in an alley bruised and battered with her back forced against a wall as this Lieutenant mocked her and played with her. She was so emotionally and physically beat she didn't have the reserves to fight off his malicious intent. She tried. Oh did she try, but she failed like she had so many times that night.

The sensation of his breath upon her ear as he spoke caused her to want to pull away. She didn't want him so close to her. But she stiffened at his words.

She was basically helpless in his grip and terrified for her life and the only salvation that he was willing to give her was to convert? Why? Why would he think that she'd accept that? As much as the idea of dieing terrified her for more reasons than she could ever voice to someone, the thought of possibly becoming someone like him was just...unspeakable.

The saddened expression on his face did nothing but make her fear for her soul even more. As much as she didn't want to cause her parents to cry over her and doubt that she was ever someone but with pure intentions she could not, not ever convert to a side who treated people like this!

Her inability to form words was not an issue at this point. Her eyes spoke volumes when it came to her decision.

Her body trembled.

Leucite sighed. It was a deep, sad thing as he once again placed his hand upon her chest. "Well then, I'm sorry..." He murmured to her, keeping his eyes on her own even as he felt his hand slip through into her chest, his fingers gently caressing the starseed within.

Now all he had to do was grab it... and pull and...

His fingers gripped it lightly, and he stopped.

Just... grab... and... pull...

The more he looked in the girl's eyes the less able he was to pull her seed.

Letting go of the starseed he removed his hand from her chest, and pounded his fist against the wall next to her head, before letting her go so she could slump down the wall.

He could feel the eye of Amenthes on him... judging him... weighing his soul...

Like the eyes of Notre Dame... He didn't even think about outing himself like that in front of the girl... She wouldn't understand.

Looking down at her he cussed profusely. "The ******** am I going to do with you..."

Whenever Camelot felt the auras of a Chaos soldier and an Order soldier near one another, he assumed the worst. With that assumption, he always went to investigate, and always expected the worst. More than once he had been proven correct in his worries, after all, and he had learned to not take the risk. He would not leave someone in danger, if they were in it, just as much as he would not cause trouble if it was unnecessary.

It could be a nega looking for help purifying, right?

Right...

He moved quickly, paranoia and instinct getting the better of him. He was on the roof tops, taking a direct path toward the two auras, stopping on a roof top and looking down into an alley to see the scene he had not wanted, but was expecting.

Leaping down, Camelot landed near enough to the duo to not need to run any closer, straightening up to his full height and holding his shield, which he had summoned to him on the way down. It was massive and emblazoned with a mighty dragon with a large, green jeweled eye. His aura as a Royal Knight was equally large, oppressive to Chaos sensibilities.

"Step back, Lieutenant." Camelot said sternly, in the same tone he used when ordering his son to do something. Except the authority and weight behind the words was much more acute, and there was a slight edge of danger in his stance and the shortness to his speech that held very potent warning.

He moved forward, to put himself between the Nega and the Senshi.

Terrified wouldn't be a strong enough word to describe the emotion running through Harmonia. Those four words spoken were practically her death sentence. Knowing that this mans hand was searching to yank her starseed from her body was...it was beyond words.

As much as she wanted to rip her eyes away from this man she couldn't. She stared straight into his eyes as he did the same to her. She didn't know what to think or do. Her mind, usually full with ideas and imagery was completely blank. Her body felt heavy and unresponsive by this point and she knew that the Lieutenant was the only reason she was still vertical. As much as she wanted to close her eyes, to not give him the satisfaction of seeing her die, she couldn't. She just stared back.

And then...

She saw the hesitation.

When he pulled his hand back HArmonia let go of a breath she hadn't realized she'd been holding and flinched as his fist pounded into the wall. She had felt the rush of the air it had been that close.

All of ot had been far, far too close.

When he let go of her, Harmonia had nothing left to keep herself standing and slid down the wall to sit. Her breathing was short and shallow from both the pain and the realization that she was still very much alive.

Amenthes... Whoever that was, Harmonia had the feeling that that person was the only reason she was still breathing.

With her head leaning towards her shoulder supported by the wall she looked up at the man as he spoke again. What was he going to do? Had she managed to live only to endure something even worse?

This...all of this...is not what I had expected. It's too much...

The sound of someone landing near them caught the senshi's attention but not before the immense aura. She had never felt anything like it and truthfully, as unuse to sensing auras even she couldn't miss this one. And it had a strong sense of rightness to it.

The authorative voice cut through her hazy thoughts. Whomever it was did not sound at all happy. It actually reminded her of her father when he was angry about something but wouldn't yell. Tentatively she moved her focus from her torturer to the man as he moved to put himself between Harmonia and the Nega. She couldn't help but feel a sense of irony as she took in his appearance. A knight had come to save her. Too bad she hadn't had the intention of playing the damsel in distress.

Leucite, to be fair, had not expected the Royal Knight to butt in. It was actually almost painful to look at him, his aura was - well in the over 9000 territory of overbearing. He hissed a bit under his breath, but stood his ground.

He would not run.

Well - actually - there was no way he could fight either. He just didn't appreciate being glared at like he was a trouble child - he'd gotten enough of that from his own father.

With a frustrated, feral growl, he turned, and spat, "Next time we meet, little lamb, you won't be so lucky."

Had things been different, he probably would have queried the knight about things Amenthes had told him... For verification purposes, of course.

But it was neither the time, nor place.

"She's all yours, Tin man, as useless as she is. Teach the children to fight before you put them in the field."

He'd been monologing for too long... He tensed himself up and made for the rooftops, trying to put as much distance between himself and the knight - hoping he'd tend to the wounded over pursuing the foe.

Camelot watched Leucite stiffly, not showing much of anything on his face other than a stern focus. He let the Lieutenant flee, though, knowing that pursuing him was not as important as making sure the Senshi behind him was okay. Relatively speaking, anyway.

Once he felt the aura fading, Camelot turned to Harmonia and everything shifted. His expression softened and a gentle worry crept into his green eyes, warmth easily replacing the cold anger he had presented at the start. He banished his shield, not needing it now, kneeling beside her carefully.

"Are you alright?" he asked, though he knew she wasn't. Not only could he see the evidence of the fight she must have been stuck in, he could see her fear and confusion. If Camelot had been a little slower, that Negaverse soldier might have recovered his wits and tried for her starseed again.

"You're safe now. My name is Camelot, Royal Knight of Earth. I'm going to take care of you, okay? Are you hurt?"

Harmonia flinched at Leucites parting words, afraid he was going to take another shot at her before departing but a blow never came. She watched as the Nega shot the man more scathing words before running off and with the danger gone she finally let herself take in a full shuttering breath of air as her body completely released any tension she was holding and the pain fully hit her. It really was amazing what andrenaline and fear could do when it came to suppressing the pain of injuries.

She looked up at the man as he turned towards her. She barely registered his change in posture and softened expression as she sat there contemplating on whether she should attempt to move herself but the weight of her limbs told her she wasn't going anywhere soon or her own violation.

His first question was very obviously a rhetorical question but it worked to help calm her more as he moved to her side.

As her introduced himself though and promised to help her was when the tears formed in her eyes. All of her emotions at once hit her now that she felt safe. She had been so scared, felt so alone, and completely useless that the relief of being safe was almost too much and she cried.

His last question though she nodded as the tears flowed. She attempted to form words through her tears and pain. "J...Jaw." It came out muffled and a bit slurred but she hoped her understood. To try and emphasis her point she lifted a hand to where the initial impact had occurred. It wasn't her only injury, far from, but it was the most agonizing one. Being slouched against the wall helped to suppress the pain in her abdomen and she dared not even think what kind of damage could be done there. The rest of her body just completely ached from the abuse it took. Bruises would definitely form if they had not already in multiple places along side minor cuts and scrapes.

Camelot moved to take his cape off, carefully wrapping it around her shoulders, moving her slowly to do so without upsetting any injuries she'd taken with the movement. It was something he always tried to offer others, a small bit of comfort in the simple warmth and plush from the cape. People were still people, after all, even if they were magical crime fighters. Simple comfort was just as important as anything else.

"Shh," he said gently, noting that she was having trouble talking anyway, but also because she was crying. He hated to see people crying, and wanted to do what he could to help her.

Moving slowly, taking his time and not rushing her with his efforts, he put his arm under her knee, the other behind her shoulders, and carefully picked her up into his arms. He stood from there, having already gotten his legs into position under him, and he picked her up easily enough. She was small, but with his Royal Knight strength, he would not really have noticed even if she was made out of stone.

"Do you want me to take you to the hospital? I can make sure you're cared for there. Just nod or shake your head, you don't have to speak. I've got you now."
PostPosted: Sat Feb 21, 2015 1:26 pm

The warm red and gold cloak wrapped around her shoulders worked for Chailee as hiding under a blanket from monsters did for small children. The world didn't seem as threatening in that moment and she felt safe despite not really knowing the man, Camelot, who had come to her aid. Maybe it was his calming presence or the way he spoke to her, but Camelot made her feel comfortable as if he own father were there taking care of her and warding away the monsters from under the bed like he had done whens he was little.

Her tears slowly abated. They really weren't making her feel any better anyway. With the encouragement from Camelot and the pain that the tears brought as her jaw muscles tensed in reaction she found herself finding little want to continue to cry.

As Camelot moved to carry her she made no objection. She didn't have it in her to even voice a stubborn complaint about being able to move on her own because...well...she knew she couldn't. Not anytime soon anyway. So as Camelot carefully picked her up and stood she let her body lean against his chest. She could distantly feel bits and pieces of the armor that crossed his chest through the now bunched up cloak. It didn't bother her though. Instead she focused on the warmth that his chest gave her and the support of his arms under her. She truly felt safe now.

At his question she hesitated with answer. What would she tell her parents? She was minor and the hospital would definitely call them about her being there. Would her parents be angry at her? Disappointed? Would htey try to lock her up at night? She felt her muscles tense up a bit as her anxieties began to get the the best of her. If they got more strict and grounded her how could she do her job as a senshi? Did she want to continue to be a senshi? That thought brought mixed feelings.

No matter what the outcome though she knew she had to go. She had no idea what was wrong with her Jaw and with how hard he had punched her in her stomach she had no idea if there was anything wrong there either. She may not be the best student when it came to science but she knew there were some important organs there.

Tentatively she nodded her head yes to the Royal Knight.

I'll just have to think up some kind of story. Though how I am going to explain this I have no idea.

She looked up at Camelot and wanted to voice her thanks to him but knew better at this point. Talking was just not on the agenda for her at the moment. Instead she reached over and supported her arm along her body as she placed her palm against her chest. Hoping he'd get the idea as she looked at him.

As she looked at him a passing through crossed her mind and she furrowed her brow a bit. Surely they couldn't just...show up at the hospital powered up...or could they? For all she knew there were Order people who worked there.

Camelot smiled and nodded his head as well. Good. He was hoping she would agree to going to the hospital, instead of him having to force her to go and her getting mad at him. He did not want to make a bad impression already, but her safety and health were more important to him than anything else.

They would have to have better introductions later.

He carried her as carefully as he could over the distance to the hospital, feeling like he knew how to get there no matter where he was in the city. Thankfully, they were not too far off.

Once he got there, he powered down, and looked down at her with a gentle, encouraging smile. "I'm going to leave you soon, but you need to power down so I can take you inside, okay?" He did not realize she was someone he might know from the library, though that was always a risk. Or usually it was fortuitous. He liked knowing the people he helped, it allowed him to follow up easier and check on them.

He moved to the emergency entrance, yelling for help and putting her down in front of the entrance bay. He knew she would be found, he had done this far too many times now. He just could not be there with her, or the questions would not really add up. Giving her one more warm smile, nodding that she should power down now, he then moved back, powered up while they were still alone, and took off running into the night to get up to the roof tops.

He would stick around for a little bit, though there was little he could do now.
