Her question caused Mano to give pause, turning to look over at her, then away again, "I... don't know. I mean, I like travelling, it allows me to meet a lot of people, nice people, and make a lot of friends. It wasn't something I could do before." He explained, "At the same time I am not sure how much I really like the wandering but it seems like something that I am driven to do, like I am searching for something but I don't quiet know what it is yet." He was sure he'd figure it out if he kept looking long enough.

Giving a smile he said, "It helps though, the fact that the same stars seem to be overhead no matter where I go, kind of comforting."

Mano shifted the way in which he was walking, making it so that his steps made no sound as he moved toward the bug, creeping up on it. It was strange, to use his old training for something so different then its indended purpose. To catch food, something that helped people to live, instead of what he'd been meant to do with that training. It was a nice feeling, one that actually made him smile a little bit as he lifted his stick up, taking a careful aim, before bringing it down with a solid 'WHACK' on the bug's head.

Certain it was dead he then turned to Meri and asked, "So, what's the next step?" He would differ to her in this situation since he wasn't exactly an expert when it came to cooking insects.

Mano gave Meri his best smile, "I am sure that if we both work had enough that we will figure out what it is that we are seeking. It might take us some time but I think that we can do it." He didn't want for her to get upset, not when the two of them would figure out what it was that they needed soon enough. It just took a lot of exploring to figure it out, "We just have to keep our eyes open. Once you find what it is you're seeking you will have to tell me about it."

After giving the bug a couple pokes, making sure that it was in fact dead, he looked up at Meri and gave a little chuckle, "Sure, we can go watch them tonight after we are done cooking up our bug here." He said, squatting down so that he could scoop it in one hand, holding onto his stick with the other just in case they found need for the weapon again.

"Lead the way, my lovely friend! Let's see about getting this thing cooked up!" He said, eager to get it going.

Mano nodded his head, not exactly sure what it was that he was looking for but he felt that he would know it when he saw it, "From here I think I am going to push on toward the ocean, it's been some time since I've seen it and I am rather looking forward to it." Maybe he'd try fishing again, it had ben ages since he'd done that though the idea was one that made him a little uncertain, as though he didn't think that he could fish anymore, that he would fail at it given how long it had been since he'd tried his hand at it.

Turning to look over at Meri he gave a smile, "I think that would be nice! We should definitely go stargazing together someday." He said, glancing over toward the sky, a little disappointed that it was hours until they came up. That was alright though, "I bet we can do it tonight, it won't be traveling to see the stars from another land, but at least we can watch them. How about we see to getting our bug cooked up, then we can eat under the stars together! It would be fun."

Giving the bug at look as Meri said they would just roast it he gave a nod, "That sounds like a plan, do you have spices of any sort? They could be useful when it comes to make the bug taste better." He suggested, wondering if the right seasoning would make a bug edible. He sure hoped so since the bug was a good size meaning a lot to go around.
