Well beyond dusk by the time she'd reached the ruins, Eon was exhausted. Traversing a mountain wasn't the easiest task in the world. For her, the ruins were a welcomed sight. The presence of other like-minded people was even better. If she were Evangeline. Stumbling onto the site, Eon was approached by two men, who were very curious as to why she was entering the site in the middle of the night. She explained she'd been told about this ruins back in Vermilion City and had moved from there to here non-stop since then. One of the men laughed at Eon for this, while the other, a more serious man, simply offered for her to rest on one of the extra cots.
The sights and the smells were all so familiar to Eon. She came to notice a longing to blurt out some sort of fact, but... nothing would come to mind. Nothing she trusted. This really was helping her memory, but not her body. Being exhausted, all this mental stimulation was quickly bringing on a headache. Before she knew it, she'd conked out. Her Pokemon all sprawled around the given space. Fylgia, the curious creature Eon had come across back in Hoenn, had also felt a familiarity to this place. The little fox managed to slip out of the camp, unnoticed even by Luffy or Louhi.
Wandering deep in to the ruins, the vixen moved from building to building, all the while a heightened sense of curiosity pulled her along. Slowly though, the fox began to feel something more... like she was being followed. Every time she stopped to look around however, nothing was there. Either she was simply feeling paranoid, or someone was playing tricks on her. Perking up her ears, she picked up a faint humming coming from deeper in the ruins. The humming... was reminiscent. The time before she'd met Eon, Fylgia faintly remembered lulling herself to sleep with similar humming. Her curiosity got the better of her in the end. Following the humming, she came to a large building, pitch black inside thanks to the night. A dead end? Suddenly a huge gust of wind swept up behind her, startling the fox into dashing forward, when she did, the fox fell through a hole.

Shooting up with a start, Eon gasped for air. Her sudden waking, shocked her Pokemon. With all eyes on her, Eon looked around in a panic, as if something so dire had happened. Saga was at her side in an instant, resting a gentle hand on her leg and arm. "F-f--fylgia?!" She finally spoke. "Where is Fylgia?!" Everyone looked around at one another, unsure how to react. Eon's eyes scanned her Pokemon, all where here... all but Fylgia. Soon the tent Eon was using was flooded by the other researchers and archaeologists. They were all in a panic, unsure what all the yelling was about. "Fylgia, my... my Gekkit is missing!" Eon shouted, quickly getting up from her cot, only to fall back down from a sudden wave of exhaustion and getting up to fast. Saga was there to act like a crutch with Eon's second attempt at standing. "Gekkit? Did you say Gekkit?" One man asked. Looking around at his colleges the various men and women whispered among one another until the same man from before looked back at Eon. "It might have went into the ruins." He mentioned. "But..." The man seemed to shy away. "But?" Eon pushed, showing her worry. "But the Unown inside have been really.... active these past few weeks, and we haven't been able to figure out why. We had to close the ruins because they were being so aggressive. We believe something might be down there angering them, but... we're only researchers not trainers. No one in Violet city will come to help either." That certainly wasn't reassuring. Pursing her lips, Eon nodded. "I'm a trainer. I'll go. Take me to the entrance." Everyone began to chat among one another once more. Eon was growing more and more worried. She was sure she felt something.. something wasn't right. Fylgia might be in serious trouble. She couldn't just stand here and wait for them to decide Fylgia's fate for her. "Please. She's young and untrained, if the Unown are as bad as you say, every second wasted is another she could be seriously hurt. Or worse." Eon pleaded. Stepping forward, all of her Pokemon lined up at her side, they were right there with Eon on this one. "Alright. Follow me." Said the man, who at the point seemed likely to be the head of the operation here. Following with Saga and Luffy's aid, Eon was lead through several buildings until they eventually came to one that held inside a stone puzzle. "Just place this piece in the missing part, and you'll find your way inside. I'm going to have to remove the piece again to keep the Unown out, but once you find your Gekkit, come back and knock on the ceiling of the ruins three times. Only three and we'll open it up again." Eon really wasn't to sure about that plan, but with Louhi there, his Teleport was a safe fall back. Nodding, Eon did as instructed, finishing the puzzle of a Kabuto.
What they failed to tell Eon. The door was more or less a 'trap door'. It opened up below her so suddenly, she hadn't any time to react. Instead she fell feet first down into black abyss. Luffy quickly followed after, able to use Telekinesis to keep her from hurting herself, luckily. Louhi was offered a flashlight and after accepting the item he followed along with Saga and the rest of Eon's Pokemon.

Engulfed in darkness, Eon found herself disoriented, but otherwise safe. Once Louhi came over to her with the Flashlight, She flicked it on and began to look around at her team, once more doing a head count. "Alright. It's dark as heck down here, so we're going to all need to be extra sharp if we want to find Fylgia quick and get out with little altercations with the Unown as much as possible." Eon instructed in a hushed voice. "Everyone hold hands. I don't want anyone with two free hands got it?" Of course this was an impossible task, as some of her Pokemon couldn't walk properly without all four paws on the ground. Instead they found ways to hold on to one another, while some simply rode piggy back. Origin was certainly large enough to carry both Undine and Sylph, while Dvalinn could carry Ran, Hollr, Aki and Hronn while Louhi used Telekinesis to move the Nosepass with them. Saga held onto Eon's free hand, while Luffy rode piggy back on Eon. Louhi held a hand on Origins snout while Saga held onto one of Louhi's whiskers. It was rather packed, but safe. No one would get separated this way.
So far so good, there were still no signs of any 'wild' Unown. So Eon started forward, leading the group through the ruins. All the while, she scanned the ruin's wall and floor before her. If it wasn't for how worried she was about Fylgia, Eon would have loved to get to look at the ruins depicted on the wall a bit more. One thing she noted, which was rather creepy, was the letters on the walls. They all appeared to have eyes, and... if felt as though they were following her as she passed by. Stopping for only a moment, she turned the flashlight fully on a portion of the wall, the letters seemingly spelt out the word 'DAY' But each of the words held what looked like an eye in it's center. Suddenly, the 'D's' eye blinked! Soon after, it pulled itself from the wall entirely and began to angerly swirl around Eon.
'Human! Alert! Alert!' The air was soon echoing with more and more voices shouting 'Alert', 'Human', or 'Intruder'. Eon had to cover her ears after only a few minutes... but she could see as more voices filled the ruins, more light began to shine around them. It was the Unown who were the source of this light. Eon and her team quickly found out they were completely surrounded. "I'm just looking for my Pokemon! Once I find her, We'll leave!" Eon shouted, though her voice was drowned out by the screaming Unown. Some seemed to hear her plea though. 'Liar! Humans lie! Humans lie!' Some began to chant. "Yes some lie, but I'm not! Search the ruins yourselves! She's a little baby Gekkit! She's got a bamboo collar, and is likely very scared!" Eon shouted, hoping one of them would hear her and believe her.
Suddenly the an Unown in the shape of a 'D' appeared before her, calling up what was likely an attack. "Saga, Pursuit!" Eon shouted, and without even thinking about what would happen next, Saga attacked. This only angered the Unown more, Luffy and Louhi were quickly overwhelmed. The Unown all attacked at once, one even managed to knock Eon to the ground. Her bag was ripped from her shoulder and tossed around, sending all her items across the ruin's floor. In the chaos, she didn't even notice a ball fall on the fainted D Unown and activate.

Raising her head to look around, she noticed the shaking ball with the Unown inside just as it pinged shot. Looking up it didn't seem the other Unown were reacting to this event. Did they not notice in their rage? Maybe if she just caught them all, or attempted to, they'd eventually run away or calm down. Crawling across the ground, Eon began to collect her items. When her hand landed on a ball, she flipped onto her back and pointed it into the air. "Saga, keep using pursuit!" Eon called. Saga cried out that she'd heard Eon, and with quick movements, the Grass-type managed to knock another Unown out of the air, this time a 'Z'. Tossing the ball. It hit, but a moment later the unown broke free, however it was still dizzy from being slammed so hard onto the ground that it's recovery was sluggish, just what Eon needed to get another ball in hand and toss it at the Unown. This time it stuck, and another Unown was hers.

Turning back over onto her stomach, Eon gathered as many Pokeballs as she could into her bag, all the while grabbing at her scattered items. Her things were everywhere, but slowly she was managing to pick them all up. Of course some of her Pokemon close enough the ground were helping, which was nearly all of them. Once she'd gathered up nearly a dozen balls she made her way across to the wall, pinning her back against it as tightly as she could. "Saga!" Eon called out. That was Saga's cue. Launching into the air, she smacked another one with Pursuit, knocking it to the ground. Timing her aim, she tossed the ball out in to the fray. It landed on it's intended target, an 'A' shaped Unown. Another successful capture. "Again!" Eon called, already priming another ball.

Saga found striking down an Unown easy enough, there were so many, it was hard to miss. She nearly hit two at once. The frenzied Unown didn't even notice their numbers were slowly dropping, there were so many of them swirling around Eon's Pokemon. Heck, in their blind rage they hadn't even noticed Eon was pinning herself to the wall. The researchers were right, the Unown were acting aggressively. Was there really a Pokemon making them go crazy like this? There had to be. With another Unown down, Eon tossed forward another ball, once more managing to capture the fallen psychic Pokemon.

For only a moment, it seemed the Unown had started to realize what Saga was doing. As two Y's stopped together to challenge the Gecko. Louhi was quickly at her side, ready to attack as she did. Eon herself was only worried about catching one. They appeared to be a team, if one was captured the other was likely to flee. Saga issued pursuit, while Louhi attacked with Foul Play. Despite only wanting to get one, Eon still tossed out two balls. Only one managed to hit it's target, Saga quickly grabbed the failed ball and tossed it herself, hitting the other Unown. Even still, one of the Y's broke out, while the other stayed in it's ball. Eon counted now 5 were in her possession .Whether they were all different letters she wasn't to sure of.

Whether Eon's strategy was working or not, was another question up for grabs. It didn't seem like any of them really noticed some of the Unown were being captured. They were all still upset with there being a human in their ruins... At this point they weren't even attacking any of Eon's Pokemon, they were just swirling around in a blind rage. Unown surely weren't this.... dumb, where they? With her Pokemon all gathering against either side of the corridor, Eon motioned back into the frenzy. "Let's just keep at it!" She called out. "Eventually they'll calm down... I hope." Saga wasn't to sure about that though. Even still, the Grass-type obeyed, leaping into the fray to smack another Unown out of the air. Eon tossed out another ball, catching the sixth Unown.

Tossing out a ball once more after Saga knocked another Unown from the air, the ball hit it's mark, but the Unown was far more persistent. It took a second ball before it finally found it's place. As the ball pinged shut, the Unown did something unexpected. Like a tidal wave crashing on shore, the Unown flew forward all at once, then darted back in the opposite direction, leaving the ruins back into darkness. Eon was unsure how to react at that point... with it being so silent and dark, it was scary. Where they coming back? Well, for now she'd take this opportunity to regain her composure. Feeling her way across to her flashlight, the female began to collect the Unown she'd caught. Seven in total. If the Unown were meant to look like letters, then that would mean there were 26 of them. She was unaware of the ones that looked like a question mark or exclamation mark. Placing them all safely in her bag, the amnesiac turned her flashlight on her team. "Alright, I think everyone should return to their Pokeballs for now, save Saga, Louhi and Luffy." Louhi and Luffy were psychic-types, while Saga was quick on her feet and able to attack easily with her Pursuit. Some of Eon's team were a bit upset with this development, she had been showing favoritism to those three a lot recently. "I promise, We'll have a team change soon, I mean to be a good trainer to all of you.. But right now Fylgia is the most important." Eon stated, her voice a bit more stern. Her team agreed with her on that at least. So with little hesitation she finally managed to return everyone but Saga, Louhi and Luffy to their balls. Zoro, not an official member of her team, stood by with arms crossed. He could see just fine in this darkness, and had done well to keep himself away from the fray. With folded arms, the fox boy followed behind Eon as they made their way in the opposite direction the Unown had flown away.

With a more peaceful path ahead of them, Eon took things quickly, but silently as the same time. She kept the flashlight on the path head this time, fighting her urges to flash it over to the wall. She didn't want to create another frenzy if some of the Unown hadn't woken up. However, her plans were quickly foiled when an Unown patrolling the halls noticed Eon. 'Intruder!' It shouted, soon the ruins were once more abuzz. "Darn it!" Eon shoutted, rushing to the walls again. She pinned herself there, waiting for more Unown to appear... But none did. The only Unown was the 'X' shaped one. "What am I doing? Saga, Pursuit it!" Eon stated, after realizing it was alarming the air only. Saga nodded in reply. She launched her attack, knocking the Unown from the air. Eon quickly used a Pokeball to capture it. Pinning herself to the wall once more with a sigh of relief as the ruins quieted down once more she held the Unown's ball to her chest. "I'm not going to be able to carry around all of these guys." She stated. "I might have to release them after we get Fylgia..." Or... She could keep them all? Lilycove city, where her home supposedly was, likely had a big yard... so maybe she could put them all there? Let them roam free outside of these ruins... Could she really do that though? Maybe she'd just keep their balls at home or in the Pc, but let them remain here with their friends? Yea, she liked that idea more.

Stepping back out into the hallway, Eon looked down at Saga with a smile. "Alright, the next time we see an Unown, knock it out." Eon really didn't need to explain why she wanted this. They were lucky that one Unown didn't call any others to them, but their luck couldn't last forever.
Just as they'd planned, another Unown appeared on patrol, but before it could even register that there was someone nearby, Saga attacked, knocking it clean from the air. This time, Eon could see it's appearance. It kind of looked like the Z from earlier, but... opposite. "This must be an S." Eon muttered. using a Pokeball, the Unown was caught and placed in her bag with the others. She was using some f her things to separate the used balls with those still usable. Didn't want to chance accidentally releasing one, and then having it turn on her. They likely weren't going to be happy about being caught.

Rounding a corner, and two Unown appeared to block Eon's path. The amnesiac quickly grabbed for some Pokeballs, while Saga and Louhi initiated their attacks. Both fell at the same time, one from Saga's Pursuit, the other from Louhi's Knock Off. Tossing out the Pokeballs at both, one ball sealed, but the other... broke. the question mark shaped Unown quickly recovered, running away in a panic, to quickly for Saga to even register what had happened. "Shoot." Eon pouted. It seemed some of these buggers didn't like staying in the Pokeball first shot. Well, maybe she'd get another chance.

Counting her losses, Eon gathered herself and continued onward. The back and forth way the ruins were displayed led Eon to believe this place was never going to end, but thankfully she knew finding the exit would be easy enough. Her hopes on finding Fylgia were devistated though as soon as the light of the flashlight Eon was holding lit up a wall... "A dead end?" She asked herself, but her answer was already staring her in the face. "Shoot, Fylgia must be the other way!" Turning on her heel, the amnesiac started in a mad dash back towards the other direction. Her brain utterly flipped into 'no concern' mode when she realized she'd gone the wrong way.
However, not long after beginning her sprint back to where she'd begun, a male appeared, surrounded by the Unown. They made a makeshift barrier, forcing Eon to stop in her tracks. Had someone else come to help? No, the Unown couldn't possibly only treat her as a treat. "Looking for this?" The male asked as Eon stopped. Holding up a hand, Fylgia, or a Gekkit that looked identical to Fylgia lifted into the air, as if by ESP. Louhi slipped forward, taking up a defensive stance. "Fylgia! You found her! Please, I need to get her to safety." Eon stepped forward, but suddenly, found herself immobile. She was being held in place. "Why should I hand this one over to you?" The male asked. Eon's face was stuck in a look of panic and concern mixed in one, she couldn't reply, given this man or was it the Unown? Someone had her stuck in place. Luffy quickly caught on, as did Louhi. But as Luffy floated forward, the male dropped his hold on Fylgia and instantly swiped his hand to the side. Luffy flew into a nearby wall, as if pushed by something unseen. He struck the wall with such velocity, the wall itself buckled under Luffy, causing some dust and sand to fall from the ceiling. 'Calm yourself!' Louhi shouted. 'Do you plan on burying us alive?' He continued. 'Release my trainer and return the Gekkit so we may take leave of this place.' The man's attention turned to Louhi, and with another swipe of his hand, Louhi was sent into the opposite wall. 'How dare you speak to me like that!" He shouted. "I'm in charge here!" Louhi, unlike Luffy hadn't been knocked out by this attack, and quickly recovered. "I will not let you leave, little girl." He stated, eyes narrowing. Eon was shouting so loudly in her head, even if it fell on deaf ears she wanted to send a message to anyone listening in. "You what?" The man quirked a brow. "You only wanted to come and find your friend? This thing? Doubtful. If you were any sort of good trainer, this one wouldn't have wandered into the ruins and fallen down here, disturbing my slumber." Eon replied, still unable to move. "A child you say? Curious you say? Well, I am curious then... I will challenge you... yes, just like a trainer would."
Releasing Eon, the amnesiac fell to her knees. Her body was shaking uncontrolably, but with Saga's aid she managed to get back to her feet. "Alright, I'll battle you. When I win, you will give us Fylgia and we will leave." Eon stated. She wasn't in the mood for games, luckily, her commands didn't get back-lashed like Louhi's had. "Very well, and If I win, you'll stay down here forever and become my slave?" Eon's eyes narrowed. Slave? Well she certainly couldn't allow that... not to mention was there any food down here she could eat? It seemed to dry for Mushrooms... Would the Unown go out and find her food? Shaking her head, she couldn't think of this as even a possibility. "Alright a battle! Show me your Pokemon!" Eon expected him to send forward an Unown, but instead, he motioned forward a hand, and a large blade appeared, covered by a shield. What was that?

"I won." Eon stated, still rather flabbergasted at the first Pokemon the man had sent out. It looked like it'd been a smart move using Louhi's strongest move, despite being a psychic-type, the Dark-typing move certainly did a number on the floating sword. The second Pokemon, Saga took care of with Water Spout. Not only did it knock out the Aggron, just about all the Unown in the air fled in fear, leaving the man by himself, but not for long... he just... vanished. As if into thin air, as the Unown departed so had he. Fylgia dropped to he ground with a thump, drawing Eon's attention to the fainted fox. Eon was relieved to find that the archeologists had kept their promise and opened the door for her once she came knocking. Once she was free of that place, Fylgia still clutched in her arms, the amnesiac began to breath as though she'd been holding her breath for the past two hours. Looking up she saw the moon slowly dipping down over the tops of the trees, the sun starting to rise in the opposite side of the sky. Seeing how bloodied and dirty Eon was, one of the men of the group picked up Eon Princess-style to carry her back to the camp. She wanted to refuse, but her exhaustion was getting the better of her. Honestly... all it was was a bunch of Unown going haywire... why she was she so drained?
Once they'd made it to the camp, the male set her down on an open cot, while another came over with some cool, fresh water. "Tell us, what did you find down there?" One man inquired. "Yes, we could hear quite the frenzy down there." A woman pipped in. Eon gripped her cup, thinking back at what had happened. Closing her eyes she sighed deeply. "Well... I firmly believe the Unown were deliberately put into a frenzy... rather, they're being controlled." Eon began. Her every move and word called their attention. "I met.... a man down there." "A man?" "No one is missing in the camp are they?" "I don't think so."
A flurry of voices erupted around Eon, pulling the girl's eyes up at the mass of people looking around, some doing head counts. "Calm yourselves." Stated one of the men, the leader guessing by how he dressed. "Young lass, what did this man look like? What was he doing down there?" Now those were the more important questions. "I don't know what he was doing down there, but he was tall.... really tall, like almost as tall as the ceilings down there. He was dressed.. odd, like it looked like clothes from this era, but... altered." Eon tried to image the man she'd seen down there, but it'd been so dark.. that maybe she just didn't get a good enough look at him. Her vision blurred every time she tried to focus on his details. "I... can't really remember for some reason." Eon muttered. Was it amnesia? Could an Amnesiac get amnesia? "It's alright, you've been through a lot.... Lass.. I think maybe you should head into Violet City. We don't really have a proper place for your Gekkit to be looked after... Nurse Joy would take just as long getting here as it would for you to walk there yourself. I'm sure you'll be alright?" Sipping her water once more, Eon nodded. "Rest for the time being, you can leave around noon, it's not that far of a walk." Once more nodding, several of the group began to file the others out, despite their growing curiosity.
When it was finally just Eon, the amnesiac called out all her Pokemon. Everyone quickly gathered around Eon, looking over the poor fox in her lap. Fylgia was dirty, bloody... and shivering. She must be plagued with nightmares. Had that.. man, if he was even man, done to her? Hugging Flygia, Eon stood up and used a nearby bowl of water and began to whip away the blood and dirt from Fylgia's fur. It made Eon madder and madder the more she thought about that man... his ability to use Esp, enough so to knock out Luffy in one swing, and to do... this, to Fylgia? Eon hadn't even noticed she was crying until she noticed water dripping into the bowl, Saga's gentle tough on her arm. "This shouldn't of ever happened... Why... Why is it now matter where I go bad luck follows me?" She sniffled. "Can't I just get a break?!" Slamming her fist on to the table, she closed her eyes, trying to stop herself from crying. But then, she felt something touching her hand. Looking down she found Fylgia sweetly licking her hand. "Fylgia? You're awake?" Returning to cleaning the fox, Fylgia laid her head back down and softly began humming.
