Giggling softly Dakota cuddled into her sister's chest..purring a bit before pulling out her glorious prize. "Lookit! Pretty..I found it!" In fact she had oh so casually snatched it off a human's outdoor table where it was sitting innocently. The moment the human's back had turned Dakota had snatched the beautiful silky soft length of ribbon up. "Nooodleee help me. In my hair!" Peeking at her sibling the younger kitten tickled Noodle's sides. Wiggling and poking with her cold little hands till sissy gave in. "Please pleaseee!" Dakota just knee the ribbon would make her black hair look so pretty.

Beaming brighter than before Dakota felt her hair and squealed softly. Turning she was quick to hug Noodle tight, her tail waving about. "Thank you sissy! I love you lots. Yes! Oh oh!" Pausing after scrambling out of the bed she dug about in her pockets, eventually tugging out a small wrapped piece of hard candy she knew Noodle liked. "Here! Sleep good!" After handing over the gift the kitten darted off to find any mirror or mirrored surface so she could stare in awe at her new ribbon tied hair!

After staring at herself for what felt like hours, Dakota's tiny folded ears gave a twitch. She heard mama..but, noted she didn't sound happy at all. The heavy sighs had been more frequent lately..the worried looks. Sneaking into the kitchen the young girl carefully poured a cup of coffee, then with a graceful step she made her way over to Denali. Tugging once on the older feline's shirt she held up the steaming cup of liquid expectantly. All the kit wanted was for her mama to smile. Just a tiny bit. "Mama, it's okay mama.." Smiling sweetly and purring Kota leaned in close..content to cuddle into her adoptive mother's side until she looked more at ease.

Happy to hear things would be okay her attention was easily switched to the new trinket tied so prettily in her dark locks. "Noodle did it! I got it tho..and a candy!" Being here had made her confidence grow, the previous fears of being harmed were fading. Not that Dakota acted foolishly..she still longed to please everyone but, the kitten had used her sweet face more than once to get something. Or used her unusual look to distract unsuspecting humans. "Mama so beautiful!" Giggling delightedly Kota dashed off, racing through their home with energy to spare. This was the life. The best and more than her young mind could have ever dreamed of. Home. It was grand to have a home & a loving family. As she peeked down from their rooftop home at the bustling city..Dakota felt it in her bones. This was where she belonged.
