Tahigwa resisted the urge to laugh as Joweese finally made her decision and went to start the first of Zahra's Aldabuck tails. She started by separating the dreads and then twisting half of them upwards, forming a horn shape. Then, she reached for the items she would need from the basket she'd brought. Crystals, ribbons, feathers, all of these things would be going onto this beautiful little head right in front of her, a thought that made her chuckle. Hopefully the finished product wouldn't be too heavy for Zahra to handle.

"Rainbow hair it is, then!" She cheered, tying a few good ribbons around the first tail. "And, yes, it's good I got your's started first, Zahra! You would've been waiting for quite a while if Joweese hadn't let you go first!"

She set to placing a few of the decorations after she spoke and moved to gather the remaining dreads for the second tail, her eyes moving to Joweese again.

"Grab the colors and come sit beside Zahra, Joweese." She said, patting the ground beside Zahra. "That way we can get started as soon as I'm finished with this last tail."

Once her hair was deemed as being 'done' Zahra pushed up to her feet, twirling around before giving a little shake of her head, "Ah! What a nice sound!" She squealed in delight, finding the jingling sound of the crystals to be one that she rather liked. She would enjoy this hairstyle for as long as it was able to hold up under the rough treatment that it tended to get given the various ways that she and her twin spent their days, "Thank you, Mom!"

Trotting over to her sister she scooped up Sticky, allowing the alol to wrap himself around her once more before turning to her sister, "Your turn! Good luck with becoming the most beautiful rainbow in all of Jauhar!" She said, clapping her hands in delight before looking at Sticky, "You cheer too!" An order met with him giving a hiss and a tail wag, his version of cheering her on it would seem. With that done she went to plop down in front of her sister, wanting to watch the process that went along with one becoming a rainbow.

"Hmm... probably cause it's way more colors then just the pink? Not to mention having to open and close all the containers of dye?" Just a guess on her part but it made sense to Zahra, "Don't worry, Jo-Jo! I will wait here for you!" Or she'd doze off midway through, but she'd do her best to make it the whole time!

Joweese wiggled against the feeling of her braids coming undone. Somehow, it tickled the back of her neck and gave her a chill! Still, she nodded to her mother and looked across to Zahra, admiring her new hair style. All those shiny jewels, ribbons and feathers... She'd be the envy of all the other girls in the village! She giggled at the thought of the faces that the other girls might have when they went home. What would Teiluj and Neska think? Would they want to decorate themselves, too? The prospect of having all of their friends gather together for a huge make over party excited her, and a grin shot over her features.

"Oooh, Za-Za, mama!" She chattered. "Wouldn't it be super fun to invite all of our friends over to get their hair done, too? Everyone should have a chance to be made over by you, mom! You're like the Aisha of hair!"

A hair party? Tahigwa raised her head to look between her daughters again, her eyebrows furrowed in questioning. A whole party devoted to doing hair? The Blade paused in her work and pondered the thought, and all of the scenarios that could happen when several little girls occupied the same space for an extended period of time, and eventually nodded. Yes, it could be fun. It would be like when Ilyra came to visit when she was younger. They'd sit and do each other's hair and then... Her eyes glanced to the side as her thoughts turned to her missing girlfriend, her expression growing solemn, before she quickly returned to fussing with Joweese's hair.

"A-ah, yes! A make over party would be so much fun!" She exclaimed, nodding along with Joweese and Zahra. "I'd need to know how many girls to expect, though, so don't go inviting the entire forest without my permission! Mama only has two hands, you know!"

She managed to separate Joweese's hair into seven parts as she spoke and grabbed the first jar of many she'd need to use. A sweet cherry aroma came from the jar as it was opened, hinting at what fruit had been used to make the dye, and spread as the dye itself was massaged into Joweese's hair. Tahigwa loved the smell of these dyes, they were made primarily with local fruit and vegetables, as well as lotions and other non-irritating things. However, because they were all made from sweet smelling plants, Joweese would not only be rainbow, but she'd smell like a freshly picked picnic, too! Oh, well, it would only add to the fact that her girls were sweet as sugar.

Zahra gave a giggle, "Awww, we can't bring the whole forest? Alright, we will try to cut down the list to something a little more manageable so that your hands don't fall off." She reassured her mother, head tilting to one side in a thoughtful manner, wondering if there was anyone that they should definitely invite though she could only think of two people that she definitely wanted to come to such a party, "Nes and Luluj definitely have to come to the party! We should think of others too though, fun people that might come too! Maybe we can invite SamSam and offer to dye him a different color then pink!" Something that got her to giggling.

Shifting so that she was on her Zahra leaned in closer to her sister, sniffing at her, before giving a little giggle, "You smell nice, JoJo, like a big bowl of fruit salad!" She said, sounding quite pleased with this new development. Turning to look over at her mother she added, "You know Sammy smelled pretty nice too! The dye we used was made of fruit and flowers and smells nice... though I kinda doubt he even tried to appreciate how nice it was given he was more for complaining when he noticed the color."

Sitting back she patted a hand on Sticky's head, "Now remember, no licking Jowe's hair, alright, Sticky? We want the color to stay after all." She warned the alol that was currently starring at Joweese, as though he was considering what her hair might taste like now that it was brightly colored and sweet smelling.

Joweese made a face as her hair was tugged in different ways and wiggled. Who knew getting your hair dyed hurt so much? Her mother's words gave her hope, though. Soon it would be over and she'd be the most radiant Alkidike that ever existed!

"Oooh, yum!" She exclaimed, giggling. "I could go for a big bowl of fruit after this! Let's make the biggest bowl of fruit salad ever! We could make more dye with the leftovers!"

Tahigwa was quick to apply the yellow dye and moved onto the green soon after. Surprisingly, this wasn't taking as long as she thought it would, and even began considering using a bit on her own hair. After all, she already had some on her arm, why not try it?

"I think the only way that will ever work is if you hog tie your cousin to a chair." She laughed, her hands moving through the remainder of Joweese's hair. "Just two more colors and you're all set!"

She paused at the notion of a fruit salad and tilted her head. Lulu? Who was Lulu?

"Lulu? Pink plants?" She asked, blinking. " I've never heard of a place like that, and I've been an adventurer all my life! You two should show me where it is!"

"Tie him up?" Zahra said in a thoughtful manner that said she was actually considering this idea that her mother was so helpfully suggesting. She supposed that it could work but how to get him into the chair in the first place became the question. Maybe if Kenny helped them to pin Sam down? She thought about that one in a thoughtful manner before shrugging it off. They would worry about the ins and outs of tying Sam-Sam so they could do his hair but for the time being she would focus instead on the here and now.

Giving a nod as her mother asked her about what she meant she smiled, "Tei-Lulu is this pretty sister with golden hair that we met while we were playing!" She chirped, "She's really neat looking, has markings and antennae like we do but she has pale skin, golden hair, and her eyes aren't like ours either. Still, she's really pretty!" She clapped her hands in delight over the thought before leaning forward, resting on Sticky as she watched her mother work on adding more color to Jowe's hair.

A squeak escaped from her when the purple was suddenly spilled on their mother, something that made her eyes go wide before she gave a giggle, "Oops!" She lifted a hand to smother her laughter before saying, "I think your skirt wanted to be purple too!"
