Feeling almost giddy, Chariklo grinned impudently at Titan and winked. She wanted nothing more than to power down right then and there, but that would be dangerous and stupid. No, she'd have to take the round-about way home. Fluttering her fingers in a wave, Chariklo began to back up into the shadows.
"I'll let her know that, Titan," she said. "And thanks for the news, the hug and well, everything."
Pausing briefly, she titled her head to study him a moment more.
"You really are a good dude. Please don't let the Negaverse ruin that, okay?" she said before tapping a finger against her own forehead. "These crazy memories of mine tell me that they were, are - whatever - really good at twisting folks up."
With a last wave, she turned and darted through the remaining shadows. All she wanted right now was to pass out and sleep.
