"Figment?" Snowball offered with a chuckle, "My, I don't know who told him that, but Souls are very real. They all do actually have some pigments too though." He paused, "colors, to them."
He stopped when the kid looked glum, "Sadly, yes. You're much like Clark Kent or Bruce Wayne. No one can know, not even your parents. Largely because you never know who a negaverse agent is. . . but also to keep your family safe. If they knew who you were they could hunt down you and your family."
Snowball sighed softly, "It well, wouldn't end well. Now, of course that doesn't mean other senshi or knights can't know - so they know who to contact in case of an emergency. Being a super hero is very dangerous work and you can get hurt."
Snowball smiled though, "You also have me to help you whenever you need it! Other senshi and knights will also help. So don't worry, it wont be so lonely, just don't get in trouble for sneaking out at night!"
The cat chuckled to himself, "Is there anything you have questions on for now?"

It was like his teachers telling him not to run in the hallway; he was a great big ball of energy so telling him to reign it in was hard, but he'd been told time and again that it was for everyone's safety, including his own. Being a superhero, though, he had a feeling he had even less room for messing up, so Snowball's warning was met with a nod and a determined smile.
"Gotcha!" Urda said, fiddling with his new phone when he listened in again, finding comfort in what Snowball had to say next. "So we're all kind of like the Justice League, huh?" he replied again with a nod. "I can do that! And thanks, Snowball. Um...it's kinda late right now so I should probably get home, but I guess...um. How do I power down?" He had a feeling it'd be better to power down somewhere private, but before he found a bush to hide behind it'd help to know how, right?

Snowball nodded when the child asked if they were like the Justice League, "Yes I believe that pretty much hits the nail on the head!"
There was a pause when the boy asked how to power down. Snowball chuckled, "Ah, I should've expected that one." It wasn't the first time he'd gotten the question, "Just focus on your civilian self and relax, you'll go back to being you."
There was a pause, "You may want to wait till your a street or so from your home. This way you can feel anything bad and run from it. Not be surprised by it." Snowball offered the child.
"Don't hesitate to ring me if you need help okay?"

Focus on his civilian self...
Cliff gave the idea a shot and before he knew it, he was glowing and de-glowing and suddenly back in his regular outfit before he ran into the youma. The boy blinked curiously at the cat, frowned for as long as it took him to inspect his nor utterly boring clothes--he especially missed his "horns"--before giving his full attention back to Snowball.
"Sorry, did I do that too soon?" he asked, his frown now turned into a nervous sort of smile and matching chuckle. "Sorry. But at least I won't have to power down on the way, in case someone sees me, right?" Silver linings! At Snowball's offer to keep in contact (at least that's how he understood it) Cliff gave an enthusiastic nod.
"Definitely! Thanks, Snowball. Um...did you wanna come home with me or do you have an owner?" It was the last he could offer, given that the feline had given him super cool powers and helped him get rid of a big bad monster-thing. Youma...right. "We used to have a cat so if you even just wanted a place to stay for the night I can help with that!"

Snowball laughed and shook his head, "No you're fine. I can still sense them and keep us out of trouble."
The cat smiled as the boy offered him a place to stay, "I do actually have a home, and a princess with her knight. However, I do occasionally do sleepovers!"
The cat purred as he wrapped around the boy's ankles, "I can walk you home and stay for a little while, but I'll have to leave before the daylight hits. I can't miss my breakfast~!" The ragamuffin of a mauvian chuckled.
"So lets get you home hm? I'm sure it's getting close to time your parents are probably going to be worried about you."

Cliff reached down to pet the kitty, all smiles as memories of their late family cat came back for a second. "I'll keep the window open so you can get out in case I fall asleep!" he said as he motioned toward the bike. "I've got a basket so the trip'll be quick! Maybe I'll think of questions for you on the way, then you'll have a reason to stay a little late. I have school tomorrow though, so..."
And the boy trailed on from there, happy to have company. He didn't even care that it looked a little strange, talking and regarding a cat that, as far as every normal person they passed along the way was concerned, couldn't reply at all. It didn't matter; new friends and new adventures were more important than whatever anyone else thought, hands down!
