"A name equally as beautiful as her mother's." He shared with her this tender moment before her following words would stun his heart. She...didn't have them!? He could see her reaction, and how hurt she had become. Quickly he pulled her in to his arms. Closing his eyes tight. They had one daughter- and one son that they had raised. Two...were missing. What they looked like. Did they have names..Were they safe? All these things came flooding in to his mind. He knew, with her sheer tone that she too had probably had her mind racing just as his had.
Although he was a good tracker, Ly had been illusive to him. But he found Jeiyana all the time. Always knew where she was. Maybe they were further out- maybe someone took them and had cared for them? But he wouldn't have known, there was no way of knowing. "Shuu..." He cued in to her ear. Trying to sooth her, as he too began to worry. Softly rubbing his paw pad against her back. "I am sure- they are ok. They are our children, your children. They are strong.. But I will not rest til we find them...I assure you that." Taking her cheeks in to his paws now. Looking in to her eyes tenderly, but with an equaly amount of heaviness in the responsiblity of them being lost. He should have never left that day.
He could have convinced her to stay- and the babies would have never been left alone.
"I had always thought you near. Your scent had always been so close.. but maybe they had ventured further than what you had to escape me. We can do that. Together this time. Ok. You found me.. I am sure we will find them." How he could be calm when all of his nerves were on edge, and all his worst fears had come to light? He didn't know how he was so laid back on the outside, helping to calm her when he, on the inside felt...broken on the inside.
He would have to at least visit Aiden. At least note where he was before they go off on a journey to find their other children. "Maybe we can ask your brother for help tracking them. We have others that can help us.. don't worry your pretty little mind. Put yours and our burdens upon my shoulders, and I will gladly carry the guilt and responsibility. Blame me if you want to blame anyone.. Ok?" Softly rubbing his paw against her cheek and up under her hair. Kissing her once more, so tenderly and so carefully.. So he may show her that together. They can do anything.

She clung to him tightly, her heart shattered into a million pieces. Guilt plunged itself into her even more, it was her fault. If she had stayed, all of her babies would be safe with her now, her love wouldnt have been hurt. By the gods, how selfish could she have been? How blind could she have been to what was right in front of her...and now two of them, two creations of her love for Sorii were...missing.
She wouldnt let her mind think darker than that, they were just missing..out there strong and thriving. Yes. She had to cling to that, she couldnt let the darkness slip back into her...She nodded her head, tears spilling down her cheeks. "Yes. We will find them, together.." She nuzzled his throat softly. "Our babies are strong.." She whispered.
"Yes. Callum will help..Family ties mean a great deal to him..He will help, or I will make him.." She let her words die off, she loved her brother a great deal but a mother looking for her children was another creature entirely and nothing, and no one would stop her from finding her babies...even if the darkness whispering in her ear was correct. She would find them..She shook her head at Sorii's next words. "No..this..this too is my fault. Not yours. Never yours Sorii.."

The darkness started to crawl it's way to the sky, and before they knew it. It was time to retire for the night.
He tried comforting her but she was equally as distraught as he was. "Put your burdens on my shoulders. I will carry them, just like I will carry you. No more tears.. They are fine. Just have to believe it to be so." Nudging her face with his snout, and playfully- and swiftly he dipped himself under her and lifted up so she was upon his back. "I told you- I will carry you. So do not worry your head.." With that, he started off to find some place to take her. Safe for the night. Safe to be loved.
It was easy enough to find. They hadn't completely left the forest part where it had touched the mountain ranges. Snugging in a tree's uproots. And softly sliding her down the side of his body. "I know its unfair to ask.. but .. turn of your thoughts for this night. I know you worry, but time has already passed, and it is like worrying over what prey you hunted last week." Nudging her face. "I'll hold you tonight, hopefully I can protect you from those worries."
He meant it, he loved her and gazing upon her. He'd give his life for her, and she didn't have to ask. That was love..

It was easy for her to be scooped up by him, and she fell in love with him even more, she was petite in size compared to Sorii and to feel him wish to protect her, even from her own thoughts, it made her heart soar into the darkening sky.
She nosed the back of his ear as she accepted this more submissive role, as he then slid her down once he had found a safe place for them. As she slid off him carefully, she reached for him with a paw, not wishing to break the contact.
As he nudged her face, she kissed him lightly, she suddenly felt her worries slip away silently, and all there was for her was Sorii, her love, her mate, her all.
"Hold me Sorii.." She whispered softly.

The uproots gave excellent shelter. That was one thing for sure. But if it rained.. His ears went back as he examined, and when he did, beyond the uproots there was already a den or sorts. Accepting this, he turned to her and was about to say something more to add to lessen her worries but she already came to him and kissed him. Silencing him immediately.
Unlike hers, his fur was green- and light enough to get shades of a different color. A blush even if he had just kissed her before. Held her. When she kissed him just so unexpectedly, he melted and could've made a puddle out of him in her hands. He missed her so much, unbearable and no one else could ever take her place. Many mating seasons came and went and he was very much away from the crowd. If he did not love anyone else, what would be the point? Betraying a ghost to him, was still betrayal.
He extended his digits and softly wrapped them to her chin and lead her to kiss him again. He would not tire from her. Would never want her away again. Her absence had started to make him bitter but still he tried so desperately to remain true to himself. Even if he had to migrate to get back to where his mind had started. Even then, it could never happen. This was love, and of the purest kind. "Come on.. let's retire for the night. Together." Even if it was just to lay beside her once more. He would be happy... Just being with her once again.
