Something told Sauron he didn't want to know about the bodies, and the prentice's longer stride would aid their progress and leave him able to fight proper if they were accosted by the others. He nodded at Isaris, trusting his judgement. He hoped the boy had saved enough energy but he was right this was the smart way to do it.
"Then we will do it this way then." Sauron drapped his blanket back over himself and found another for the siblings. He prayed to the shifter gods that they would make it across safely. Once there he would rent a Xaraan and it could carry the lads while he ran his giant feet off. They would make it, they would, he had to believe it.
