"Well, then you're definitely in the right place," said Chance with a laugh. "There are both of those here, if you just take a minute to look in the right direction. I'm sure there are a few people I could introduce you to that you might like; though to be fair, I'm not exactly the best at socializing, just as a forewarning," he added, almost thoughtfully.
The wink, nor the playful comment was not missed, something shifting in Chance's smile so that it became more amused than anything else.
"I think I like you," he said lightly, eyes glinting as he laughed again. "You're pretty honest, and that makes you one of those interesting people. But yes, there are definitely some beautiful people here as well."
Tommy's next arrow only slid past his arm, barely scratching him. Chance notched another arrow into place and pulled hard on the wire, feeling it give away after a second's waiting.
"Detroit, Michigan, originally," he said as he let go with a sharp snapping sound. "Born and raised there, so it's not all that exciting, I'm afraid. What about yourself?"

"Ah yes, of course. Introductions would be quite nice." He nodded, though cocked his head to the side slightly as Chance admitted to not being great at socializing. "And yet here you seem to be doing just fine." He pointed out, more laughter in his dark eyes. He shrugged his shoulders at the honesty comment, still appearing quite jovial. "I try." He allowed, before continuing on quite cheerfully. "Present company included in said beauty, of course." Just continuing to be honest, after all. If he was at all worried that Chance might be taken aback by a compliment as such given by another man, it didn't show on his rather cheerful expression, which only gave way when yet another arrow found it's mark on his torso, barreling him backwards with a soft grunt. He would have rubbed at his chest, but there was at least a small bit of fear that he might accidentally shoot himself in the face while doing it, so he shook the hit off, and took careful aim to send a bolt back in response. Heck, why not send off two at once. "Detroit?" He raised his eyebrows, a large grin breaking out across his face. "I have been there! And many other places as well. I am, after all, a traveling man, always on the move~" He took a moment to appreciate that he had actually managed to land a fairly decent hit before continuing. "But, as you can probably tell, I am not from America originally. If I were to choose a home, it would have to be in the small southern town of Atrani, Italy, where my mamma is from, and hopefully, is still living." HP: 26 Damage: 10

"Yes, well," said Chance with a laugh. "I'm just an easy person, really, and good at faking it."
Except not really, and he winked at Tommy as if to remind him of this. Chance rolled his shoulders and then spread both arms out to the side, giving a little bow in a gesture of appreciation. "Your flattery is very kind, thank you good sir," he said grandly, and then grinned. "Though I might have to figure out what sort of definition of beauty yours is."
Both of Tommy's arms were pointing in Chance's direction now; he skittered sideways, attempting to dodge, but he was too slow. The arrows slammed into him with a sharper and more deliberate force than he had been expecting, and Chance's feet slipped on the grass before his legs were knocked out from beneath him. He landed with a crash and a muffled curse, one hand lifting to rub at his face as he looked back up at Tommy.
"What, really?" he asked, as though he had not just been shot. "You've been to Detroit? That's kinda surprising, I haven't really met anyone that would willingly visit that place."
Chance got to his feet again, wincing a little, and grinned as he pulled out another arrow. "I've always wanted to go to Italy, but I never made it out of Detroit, sadly. Your accent is delightful, by the way."

"An easy person, you say? That is very good to know, though the good at faking it is quite a shame." He laughed, something quite mischievous glinting in his own gaze as he gave himself in to the double entendre of that particular sentence, unsure if Chance had meant it that way (but certainly willing to take it that way himself). "How then, would one know, if they were truly satisfying to you?" He asked. "Ah, yes, I suppose that is more difficult for me to explain. I find a great many things in this world beautiful. Most everything, in fact, if one looks hard enough. There are, however, times when looking too hard can render a beautiful thing ugly, as well. Thus, I will continue to look at you, and appreciate that I do not have to look hard to see that you have an exterior that is very pleasing to gaze upon." It wasn't said in a rush, but rather, almost as if scripted, with raising intonation and subtle nuance in appropriate places, declared with great ease and clarity despite his accent, as if he were quite used to making delivering speeches in front of large crowds. After this, however, he was quite happy to allow himself a small moment of inward celebration over knocking Chance off of his feet, though he did at least take a few steps towards him, to call out in a voice laced with good humor. "Are you all right?" Before Chance could ask his question about Detroit. Well, he certainly seemed okay. That was good enough for Tommy! "Well, perhaps it was not willingly. I do, as I said, travel to a great many places. All for the sake of the performance, and for earning the money to continue." He winked, giving away no more then that as Chance pushed himself to his feet, readying, and letting loose, another arrow that managed to barrel into Tommy's shoulder, to which he hissed a little, and then laughed. "Why thank you!" He held out his arms to both sides and bowed, "It is one hundred percent genuine. Or." His voice switched, the accent dropped as when he continued on, it was with a perfect American accent. "Is it all just an act?" Again with the mischievous glint in his eye as he readied a crossbow and fired. HP: 23 Damage: 5

The double entendre was neither missed, nor under appreciated. "Believe me," said Chance with a laugh as he shook his head. "You would know if I was faking anything. I'm usually pretty straightforward at showing when one has satisfied me, don't worry."
He was grinning now, though it was more of a contemplative smirk; Tommy was easy to be around, and particularly fun. Chance found the honesty and the flirtations (or rather, the compliments) somewhat entertaining, and he raked a hand through his curls, amusement dancing in his eyes.
"Well, I'm glad that I am pleasing to look at," he said, stretching his arms out and giving a little bow again. "You are, of course, free to continue looking at your leisure."
Being knocked off of his feet wasn't the most graceful thing that had ever happened to him before, but at least Chance didn't get embarrassed very easily. He got back up with a smile on his face and said, "I'm just fine, don't worry about me," waving a hand as he restrung another arrow.
"What sort of performances do you do?" Chance asked curiously, his next shot only grazing. "You're quite fascinating, Thomas Giacinto."

"Is that so?" He asked, teeth flashing in a wide grin. "Perhaps someday I will be given...well, a Chance, then?" He asked, with a waggle of his eyebrows, though it was soon followed by laughter. "I must apologize again. It is not really my intention to be so bold. It is like you are setting me up, however. How can I resist?" He asked, clearly enjoying himself immensely even if he was making himself look like a complete fool. "Ah but yes. Looking. That is an invitation I will not pass up on." Because, as he said, he did so appreciate beautiful things. Chance's next arrow grazed past him, barely felt, as he reloaded one of his crossbows while dodging to the side, beginning to get the hang of things. When he spoke next, he continued to use an American accent, which continued to be flawless. "Oh, a little bit of this, and a little bit of that. Acrobatics, gymnastics, balancing, juggling....contortion." He winked at that last one. "Here, I will give you a small demonstration." He hadn't tried this on the training field. In fact, he hadn't tried this at all since waking up. One moment, however, Thomas Giacinto was on his feet, and in the next, he was not. He turned on his heel in one swift motion, and then had tilted his body backward, and down, his feet kicking up straight above him, one hand going to the ground in the same smooth motion, until he was doing a one armed handstand, while still facing the other man. He wasn't visibly trembling. It didn't appear to be a strain on his muscles at all, in fact, though it was obvious that his arm had gone tense and rigid in order to hold him in place seemingly so effortlessly. His other arm, had remained lifted, his crossbow pointed at Chance even from this upside down position. Suddenly, he fired. HP: 22 Damage: 4

He couldn't help but laugh at that; the puns for his name were easy and extremely obvious, but the fact that people still made them gave Chance a certain sense of amusement most of the time, rather than exasperation. And Thomas just seemed like the type of person to do exactly that - make terrible puns because he knew just how terrible they were.
"I like bold," said Chance with a smile. "I like playing games and I like the thrill of guessing things, but sometimes it's refreshing to have someone like you come along and do exactly what you're doing - namely make no secret of what you like or what you want."
The American accent made him laugh, as did the rest of Thomas' extensive list of performances. Even more interesting, however, was actually watching him; and Chance couldn't help the little whistle that escaped his lips, his eyebrows raised.
The arrow caught him in his arm; Chance was knocked off balance, but he slammed the tail end of his bow into the ground to keep from completely toppling over. The arrow he'd strung in preparation of retaliating snapped free unintentionally, a pathetic shot.
"That was amazing as s**t," he said, sounding impressed. "Like, for real."

Soon after the arrow was released, Tommy was bending backwards to put his feet back on to the ground, before springing up straight again and turning around with another sweeping bow, though it was a little hard to look graceful with a return arrow sailing at his face...though when he straightened again it landed on his booted foot. Thomas was all amused smiles as he shook his foot out, the arrow disappearing as he restrung both of his bows. "Ah, thank you! I live to entertain, though it has been some time. I am feeling very out of practice." He admitted. "So, what is it that you do, Chance Bones?" He asked, while firing off another arrow at the other man. Which sort of just flew off in some unknown direction. Seriously. Where the hell had that arrow even gone? HP: 21 Damage: 0

He'd never really been an acrobat, or even interested in gym or gymnastics, for the most part (way too much effort); but somehow watching Tommy perform was interesting, and it piqued Chance's curiosity as his eyes flitted over the figure in front of him.
"Entertainment is good," he said with a smile, easily dodging the arrow, which flew past him and disappeared away into nothingness. "I do like entertainment."
He strung another arrow of his own and carefully aimed.
"Not much, to be honest," Chance laughed. "I like space and games and anything that doesn't involve too much effort, with one or two exceptions."
There was another innuendo behind his words, amusement sparking in his gaze as he released the arrow with a lot more force than he'd intended. "And I like being able to do what I want here. I know that it's a kind of militaristic place, but it's definitely better than where I came from, so I'm good here."

"Ah, well then, as the expression goes, let me entertain you." He lifted his eyebrows a couple of times and laughed, his voice melting back into it's Italian accent with ease. "Though, as I have said, I am out of practice." He rolled his shoulders back, "It would be nice to have an audience to perform for again. Perhaps once I have gotten the hang of this, I will get back into practice." He grinned, readying himself for the arrow that came hurtling his way, though too quickly to do much more then brace himself for impact. And what an impact it was! Straight to his collar bone, staggering, though not quite enough to send him off of his feet completely. "Magnifico!" He laughed, while taking aim with one of his crossbows and firing. "For the way you have struck me and for all that you have said. Magnifico." HP: 15 Damage: 5

The accent was both noted and appreciated yet again; he did very much enjoy the accents of any culture, and Chance gave Tommy an amused smile. "Well, practice makes perfect, as they say," he said airily. "But really, nothing is perfect, so maybe it's better said that practice makes better. Please do feel free to use me as an audience whenever you please."
He was getting the hang of this whole shooting thing, but so was Tommy, because a bolt slammed into Chance's torso, sending him stumbling. He took a breath and tried to regain his footing, stringing another arrow and narrowing his eyes slightly to take aim.
"You're welcome," he said with a smile, but it was slightly wearied, Chance clearly losing strength. "For whatever you're saying is magnifico. I personally don't think I'm all that exciting, but I'm certainly glad someone does."

"Ah, it would please me very much." Thomas admitted. "Though again, when I am feeling ready. I will definitely be taking you up on that." And he meant it. He so did like to entertain others, to perform and be appreciated for what he could, to make people smile and to leave them wanting more. It was a high that thought no drug could possibly compare to. Notching back both of his crossbows again in preparation as Chance restrung his bow, Tommy watched the other man carefully, attempting to anticipate when that arrow would be shot his way. "I am sure there are many ways that you are exciting, without even knowing it." Tommy gave a wave of one gauntleted hand, clearly dismissing the idea that Chance somehow wasn't exciting at all. With his other hand, he fired off another bolt, almost nonchalantly. HP: 15 Damage: 3

Chance gave a little mock bow and a wink to Tommy, arms outstretched; but the bolts from the other's bows caught him in the torso again, and he staggered, losing a bit of the nonchalance that he was attempting to show. A laugh escaped his throat as he stumbled to one knee.
"Okay, well, maybe in bed," Chance deadpanned. "Or maybe when I draw, I never really understand how these things work, but you're right, I should never judge a book by its cover."
A pause.
"Or a hunter by its weapon. Or something."
He tried to fire off one last shot and wound up snapping the bowstring back a little harder than he intended.

Thomas laughed at first, eyes glinting mischievously as eyebrows rose. "In bed you say? Now that is quite a boast to make. I ah.." He coughed into a fist, "Can not make such bold claims myself, truth be told. I am lacking the ah...experience." He actually had the decency to look slightly abashed, especially considering the shameless flirting he had been participating in up until this point. "Though I have been told that I am an excellent cuddler, and kisser as well." That, at least, was mostly true. As if his words had somehow taken Chance by surprise, Tommy was then gifted to an arrow that cut through the air at a speed he could not hope to dodge. It pummeled into his shield, hard, harder then any had hit him previously, and he staggered several steps back, the blow that hit him center to his chest knocking the wind out of him, leaving him gasping as he fell to his butt onto the ground, one hand pressed to the area that had been hit. " Merda!" He coughed, his vision swimming as he regained his breath. Raising a gauntlet from his position on the ground, he fired, if only to distract Chance and give himself time to get back to his feet. "I am sorry!" HP: 5 Damage: 5

Tommy was an endless source of amusement. Chance couldn't quite hide the smile that was flitting across his face. "Well," he said thoughtfully. "if you ever feel the need to, shall we say, expand your experience - or at least, if you ever want to prove that excellence, my door is always open."
He was pretty pleased with his last shot, in spite of it being a bit more powerful than he'd intended. At the same time, however, Tommy's next release caught Chance by surprise, slamming into his side and snapping the last remnants of the FEAR shield with a crack. Chance fell to the ground, gasping, and rubbed at what would probably be a nice bruise forming on his chest.
He took a moment to breathe and then looked up at Tommy, laughing in a slightly wheezy sort of way.
"You're fine, seriously. That was impressive, good fight."
