The flight to Paris was an interesting one. It had been delayed multiple times due to some strange occurrence in the city. Taliana was only half paying attention to the global newscast since she was already well aware of the nature of the threat. Vance had tipped her off to it earlier this week when he mentioned a feeling of uneasiness. The duo couldn't quite place their finger on it until a bright pink streak crossed the sky. Vance's connections to other extraterrestrial beings and individuals gave them insight into the disappearance of Carol Ferris, the Star Sapphire. Her ring was no doubt looking for a new host. Why that host had to be so far away was beyond her. Unfortunately, as with all objects of power, comes those who would use that power to for corruption. Taliana heard of a few other heroes appearing in Paris and figured her best bet was to follow suit as a support figure for not only the city, but the new legacy that would arrive because this act of destiny. Time of descent was approaching, and Taliana had brought no luggage with her other than handbag. Upon landing she immediately switched out of her hoodie and changed into her uniform. It was time to do what she did best.
Her arrival to the heart of Paris, the Eiffel Tower. "I imagined it a little less shiny..."Taliana stated in observation of the crystal structures sprouting up from the lawn of Champ de Mars like a bunch of weeds. The siren weaved her way to an entry point beyond the crystalline wall that surrounded the tower. She could hear the voices of others, closer analyzing of the tones revealed some of those individuals to be fellow heroes. Cerulean orbs widened as she saw not her reflection in one of the sprouted crystals but a trapped man and his young daughter. Taliana placed a hand on the cold crystal. The eerie silence that filled this place of happiness and laughter was enough to put anyone on edge. Her main objective was to make sure the rightful host got the ring and put an end to this crystal structure. For now her focus needed to be on rescuing as many of these trapped civilians as possible. Her hand left the touch of the crystal as she opened her mouth to unleash a well calculated sonic scream. The blunt force of a sonic boom was enough to crack the crystal. Taliana wanted to avoid hurting the individuals inside the crystal so she needed to use a different yet equally strong vibration. Taliana released a whistle like sonic scream that closely resembled the original canary cry. The crystal encasing the man and his daughter shattered into tiny pieces, freeing the duo from their catatonic state. She then turned to the small opening she had squeezed through and used her sonic lance to create a wider opening. "Head through here and get as far away from this area as you possibly can." The frenchman kept kissing her hand before he picked up his daughter and darted out of the crystal prison. A smile crossed the canary's lips. Today was gonna be a long day.
The other individuals who were free from the crystals caught Taliana's attention. She noticed a masked man but the other's seemed to be civilians. "Let's leave the heroic work to the heroes, shall we?" The siren stated icily as she approached them. She didn't wait for a response as she began the same process pitches to free the encased victims.

█WITH★Folks C: (Hello Everybody!! <3 <3 ) █CLOTHES★ A black cat suit C: and her ring █ TUNE★Young Folks Vera nodded at, Evra and Madi as they offered up their names. However when Evra pulled out her crossbow pistols, Vera had to see the red head in a bit of a new light, sure part of that light was a bit of apprehension however most of it painted the other woman in a hue of she can take care of her self. It seemed like Evra was going to give the cover Vera had asked for, good Vera thought. She moved over to the crystal Evra had indicated, and in reply to the Red Haired woman, " I said, I could try and see if one is alive, not free, but I'll do my best." Vera started to rub her hands together and hum a bit when she heard Madi ask, How will you be able to tell if those in the crystals are alive? with her eyes still closed Vera told her, " Ohhh -This and that, a magician never reveals her secrets" Giving a small grin to the other woman before she went back to humming. Which was shortly interrupted by ”Hey! You guys!” This snap Vera out of whatever spell she had been trying to do. As the force of magical power around the young woman approaching their small congregation was a bit staggering to this petty dabbler of the dark arts.
Vera sucked in her breath as the girl came closer, doing her best to stand. She was yelling something about it not being safe here which most of the gals had picked up on. Vera for a moment looked to Evra to see if she viewed the youngster approaching them as a threat. However the teen had made it to their group before Vera had time to read anything in Evra pose that might give away said thoughts. The young woman had also focused in on the bow woman, asking a question that made Vera a little uneasy for its tone, and what she asked next, 'are you evil? s**t - who the hell ask something like that straight out? 'She hope that young woman hadn't taken notice of her yet or picked up on the fast dissipating of her aborted magical working for youngster might indeed pick up on some traced of evil. Not that Vera was actively trying to do evil it just sort of tainted most of her magic, family ties and all. So Vera started to do her best to seem up to all the good in the world actively trying to send good vibes out, for she didn't want someone with that kind of power, thinking she was a bad guy.
Another young woman one in fact a cotton-candy-purple haired one joined them, who was giving off a freaking odd aura to say the least. Vera blinked her pretty blue eyes a few times trying to take in the newcomer's pastel configuration and would have full-heartedly agreed with her that they should go storm the castle as it were. Then a man an dropped from the sky next, asking if they knew what had happen. She looked from one newcomer to the other and throw up her hands, a bit and shook her had in reply. " Umm " she started to say only to be stopped by a sonic scream, she turn to see a blond blasting through a crystal freeing a frenchman and his child. She shrugged her shoulders and said to Madi, " Whelp there you go, they're alive." The blond then said to the group at large "Let's leave the heroic work to the heroes, shall we?" Which caused Vera to arch a inky brow and unleash her own mouth and a snarky tone, " Look Miss Screamo, I am not going anywhere -this thing called." She waved at Evra and Madi," Us here and I am not just leaving until I find out why, K'ay Hero." Clearly Vera didn't like to be told what to do by anybody but her mamma. (lol)
| Ms. Chievous barely blinked as someone dropped out of the sky, the first male face (mask?) she had seen that day. "Any of you know what happened?""Wouldn't it be just wonderful if we did." She replied flatly, returning her attention instead to the crystals. It would be easier if she had no morals and decided to just shatter the crystal blocking their way completely; but she supposed she should try to save the girl inside it. Or, well, let the others figure out a way to save her. She wasn't keen on revealing her powers so early on without knowing who these people were, but they were working too slowly for her liking. Humans depended too much on words, she concluded. The latest addition to their small troupe of freaks seemed better equipped to analyze the situation than the rest of them, so she'd leave him to it.
"Let's leave the heroic work to the heroes, shall we?"
The tone immediately ruffled her the wrong way, heterochromatic pupils slitting as her eyes narrowed. "Yes well. If 'heroes' had done their so called work properly, perhaps this wouldn't be a situation that called for heroic work in the first place?" She returned the blonde's icy tone with carefully clipped nonchalance, clearly showing exactly what she thought of said 'heroes.' " Us here and I am not just leaving until I find out why, K'ay Hero." Yes, Ms. Chievous decided that she liked this one, lips curling in approval. She brushed imaginary dust off her skirt and straightened. "Well, hero, since you're so eager to help out, mind clearing the path for the rest of us then? You know. So we can get out of your lovely blonde hair sooner. Leave you to your...hero work. Getting civvies out safely and all that. Wouldn't want to get in your way. We'll just head up the tower. Figure out what the hell called us in there first place. Non-hero stuff, wouldn't want to bother you with boring details but you know how it goes. Weird voices in you head. Supernaturally blacking out. Normal, boring day to day stuff." She jerked her thumb over her shoulder at the crystallized girl blocking the entrance to the tower. "I wasn't all that fond of being plucked out of the streets and having pink crystals shoved in my face either, so if you'd be so kind as to assist some of us non-heroes," Though her voice was saccharine sweet, her words dripped with sarcasm. "So the rest of us can be on our way, well, then that'd be just swell." She smiled sweetly, but it seemed more of a vicious baring of teeth in a challenge than submission. Heroes and villains, good and evil, who were they to have the right to allocate them into those stereotypes anyway? Ms. Chievous felt uncharacteristically pissed off. Perhaps it was because being near the tower, these crystals, brought back to mind the memories she had spent years trying to lock away, but her tolerance level for humanity and their flaws was lower than it usually was.
Taliana was helping another civilian to their feet when the cat suit clad woman stated her claim. Taliana didn't even give the woman her full attention as she went on to free another civilian from the crystal prison. It wasn't until the purple haired child felt it was her right to judge the Canary. A raised eyebrow and rather demeaning chuckle described just how much she didn't give a ********. "I wasn't asking~" Taliana stated with playful smirk that faded almost as quickly as it had come. Her gaze shifted between the two. The cat suited woman gave off a familiar vibe, but she couldn't quite place her finger on it. The child on the other hand was so out of place it was like seeing a vegetarian at a BBQ restaurant. There was no point in exerting energy to stoop to the purple haired child's level. "Save the sass for your mothers. Unlike them, I will hurt you." Her words weren't even intended to strike fear but to assert her dominance. This was not a place for such reckless behavior. If her words had rubbed them the wrong way then they simply had not developed a thick enough skin yet. Which was only one sign of their greenness to this business.
The siren wasn't going to waste her breath entertaining the sarcastic tendencies of the woman and child. Hopefully the purple haired one would learn to hold her tongue before Taliana had to do it for her. Women were more bull headed than women in most cases which is why Taliana knew that no matter what she said they were going to do what they wanted. "Do as you please. I'm definitely not going to stop you, heroes."She shrugged her shoulders as the light sarcasm laced her words. One of them had mentioned a voice calling them here causing Taliana to back pedal slightly. Vance had mentioned some of the power aspects of the ring when it is in search of a new wielder that included projecting thoughts to potential candidates. But if there were some villains here seeking to destroy or use the ring, these girls could be walking right into a trap. She rolled her eyes and sucked her teeth as she divulged the information to them. "I'd suggest some precaution if you do go inside, you never know who may have been attracted when dealing with the lanterns." Taliana warned with slight vagueness. They wanted to be heroes, well now was there chance.

The city of lights, the city of love, fashion center of the world, so many names for the same place, Paris. Yet in spite of this glorified reputation the city's underbelly was just as dark dangerous and deadly as anywhere, at least it had been. Though the scientist had thoroughly destroyed any idea of decency she had once thought they held, the raven haired young woman couldn't deny her own results. After killing off most of the big names in the underworld of Paris, it had almost become the place tourist thought it was. However Paris like the rest of France was nothing but a reminder of that accursed lab which is why Kira had planned to leave the country for good. The young kryptonian had been halfway across the Atlantic when a strange voice had come to her. "Come child who knows not of love, come to my embrace and feel what you long for" The feeling she'd gotten when the voice had come to her was enough to make the woman curious.
With all haste she had flown back to the very place she was running from only to find the Eiffel Tower and surrounding area covered in pink crystals. Landing Kira wondered just what or who had summoned her here, and why.

Picking up on the tension that was hanging low in the air, Izabella had no other choice but to intervene. Flailing her arms in the air, the young legacy was at a loss for what to do next, but maybe if she could draw their attention… that was a start, right? ”Uhh.. guys…” She began, clearing her throat as she tried to disperse the tension. ”I mean, if we’re all here for the same reasons…” Still wary of the weapon-bearing woman in the pack, Izabella put those thoughts aside when it became blatantly obvious to her that theirs wasn’t simply a gathering of civilians and random pedestrians. Everything happened for a reason, and the fact that she was among others who had powers or who were already fairly well-established heroes in their own right suggested that there was more to this than the eye could see. ”… like, we’re trying to figure out what’s going on, right? Because that’s what I’m here for.” Addressing the group as a whole now, Izabella eyed each and every one of the so called ‘heroes’ that had been gathered. ”Can’t we just do it together, hero or not? I mean, there’s power in numbers, and apparently none of us have any idea what’s going on... We’d be more efficient as a coordinated team than as a group of individuals.”
Madi had been standing off to the side, watching silently as events unfolded around her. She wasn't sure what to make of the new arrivals and she was finding herself increasing unimpressed by the catfight occurring between three of the women. The only one currently involved in the whole conversation that had any kind of maturity was the youngest one there.
"She is right," Madi finally chimed in, motioning towards Izabella to indicate it was her she was agreeing with. "If there is a chance there could be obstacles - and we are all fairly certain there will be - wouldn't it be better to work together to figure out why we have been called here?"
This was when she looked to Izabella and offered her a smile. She would be lying if she said she was comfortable having a young girl traveling with them, but it didn't seem right to try and shoo her off for some reason. Maybe because she seemed to have her head on tighter than some of the others.
She turned her attention back to the group, musing aloud. "What an interesting group of people though… I wonder what the shared factor between all of us is."
The Pink Crystals around the heroes began to glow with an ominous light. Even though they were pretty much the solidified residue of Love and Affection, it wasn't hard to know that this strange phenomena was one of Hostility. It felt very much like heart break. The very area seemed laced with sadness and weeping but as the light seemed to flicker for a second, something happened deep within the crystal forest ahead.
This, however, meant that obstructions blocking the way further into the darkness had to be removed. Piper would stir slightly as the crystal that encased her upped the intensity of its own light. Hearts would race as the Pink Aura became blinding and uncertain. You could hardly see through the harshness of it all. Yet, parts of the strange gem seemed to melt away as fireflies. Small balls of pink energy made their way further into the lattice of Crystals that surrounded the Eiffel Tower.
They were leading the way.
Piper was left on the floor in a heap, alive, tired but awake. Able. Voices would call to them all. "It is time. Follow. Follow."
Evra sauntered away from the crystal and Vera, looking at the 'beautiful' destruction caused by the crystals. If one would be able to harvest and refine them, it would likely make millions of dollars in revenue, especially back in the United States, where the masses would buy anything that sparkled and had a good sales pitch.
As the Assassin wandered the field, waiting for the Witch to save whoever was trapped in the crystal. She didn't like how things were turning out, as more and more people showed up, the majority of them women. One of them, a young girl, asked if she was evil. Evra gave her a cold stare and holstered the hand crossbow, the only answer she'd give.
The other young-looking girl that showed, calling herself Ms. Chievous, instantly annoyed the Irish woman with her rambling. Evra ignored her and found a fairly normal rock to sit down on as more people showed up.
She sighed as the Lantern arrived, knowing the hero look when she saw it. He'll put a damper on things for sure she thought as yet another woman showed up, someone she'd met briefly in Gotham. The Canary's arrival put a frown on Evra's face as the Assassin stood and moved back towards the group.
"Vigilante's are heroes now, Canary?" Said the Irish woman. Striding up to the group, the Assassin looked from one woman to the next, until she had looked all of them in the eyes and then cast a quick glance at the Lantern. Her hands rested on the grips of her cross-pistols easily, a comfortable place for her.
"Yes, like Vera said. Something has called all of us here for some unknown reason, and I doubt any of us will leave without knowing why first." Evra spoke, leaving out any sarcasm and using a matter-of-fact tone. This was when the crystal blocking the entrance began glowing brightly, causing the Assassin to shield her eyes.
When the light subsided, Evra was quick to draw one pistol and the sword sheathed across her back. The combination of ranged and melee weapons was dangerous and lethal, to not only her enemies, but also herself as it would give certain openings and vulnerabilities in her defense that a skilled opponent could exploit. The Assassin, however was confident that, for the moment, there was no such threat to her.
As the voice rang through her head, Evra issued a groaning scowl, sheathing the sword, but keeping the cross-pistol drawn and ready to fire. She'd wait for everyone else's reactions before moving for the entrance.

"In fearful day, in raging night, With strong hearts full, our souls ignite,
When all seems lost in the War of Light,Look to the stars- For hope burns bright!"
Derek only stood there and listened to the girls, his own mind ascertaining the situation as he heard the girls begin to argue. He also noticed one of the girls shatter the rock with their voice and release the people inside, solidifying his idea on what happened being from a violet power ring. "Okay, so that takes out man eating rock candy." Derek spoke to himself, his gaze now turned to the Eiffel Tower, it's crystalized form towering over all of them. He then began hearing their own bickering, making him sigh as he looked over at the group. "Look, right now we can't worry about who wants to do what, nor if we even want help. What we need to do is figure out how to stop this mess."
With that he turned back to the tower, soon seeing another woman appear in the sky, her gaze on the tower. 'Oh hey, more women, guess this is a star sapphire ring.' Derek thought to himself as he went through the possible tactics to deal with this event. 'more than likely the crystal is made to be a trial path, so the best option is to it's trial and hope one of these girls will become the lantern, otherwise trying to destroy the crystal to make it there now will cause more havoc than good intentions, plus it may be near impossible without repercussions...'
"So then, who wants to be hit by a ray of hope?"
OOC: really sorry about making people wait, and sorry for the short post .-.
Taliana unsheathed her bo staff as the women continued their chatter. She was about to give in to this foolishness and just start acting like the b***h she was until a familiar face peeked through. "Well, well, well. Now here's someone I want watching my back out here." Taliana stated with a playful smile to the huntress. In spite of some prior disputing between the two women when they first met, Taliana held the vigilante in high regard. She was the type of hero Taliana felt they needed more of. If she was hearing this voice as well then maybe she wouldn't be the Huntress for long. A Star Sapphire would be born today, but which of these women would it be? That was the question. They would find out soon enough if they lived to tell the tale. If something wasn't done soon these crystals would soon become the least of their worries. The blue eyed beauty watched as the girl's faces furrowed up. Her raised skeptically at them. They had mentioned a voice calling out to them to come here, probably the voice of the ring. Taliana waved her hand to the entrance for the ladies to go in. This was their mission after all. Taliana would hold her tongue for once and let destiny take it's course. "The blue lantern and I can handle the situation down here. Do what it is you all feel you must."
Ian's eyes widened behind his uniform mask as he seemed unsure of where he even was. One moment, he had been gliding above Coast City trying to forget about the troubles and pressures of his life and the next he had almost crashed into a large spire of violet crystal. Had he fallen asleep whilst flying? The ring often dragged a Lantern towards danger but could it even do so against a users wishes? Ian floated upright in the air for a second, his insignia blazing its amazing emerald, as he wiped his tired face and inspected what was going on in front of him.
This was the last thing he had wanted.
He was trying to escape from the whole "the world might end at any moment" scenario and already he was being dragged into another whirlwind adventure. Space jewellery wasn't just a fashion accessory after all; it was responsibility and it was slowly beginning to take over the young man's life. He shook his head awake. Blinked. He'd heard of things like he was seeing but usually they were on very small scales; they were like personal little love popsicles of people whom didn't have much of the pink energy to dish out in the first place. Obviously, Green Lanterns were briefed on such things just in case they ever came across an angry Star Sapphire but this... This was something on a whole other level. Ian could only imagine the amount of fear and panic that had gripped Paris at this point (or at least, what he thought was Paris, he was still trying to wrap his head around where he was).
It was whilst he was looking for an entrance into the large violet crystal that he spotted a hint of glowing azure down on the ground by a group of people. he constructed a telescope, folded it out and stared down the lens to confirm who he thought it was."Brother Blue is already here, huh? I see. Better go see what's going on. Get those girls to safety."
Touching down quickly and instinctivly kept his aura on and in case of attack. He looked towards the Blue Lantern and nodding, introduced himself again to him and the Harem that surrounded him (Ian had been unawares that it was all women stood around the Blue Lantern and was somwhat unprepared for the surprise)."Bonjour,"Ian said, showing off a little"Ça va?"

The ring that was settled at the top of the tower recognized the other Lantern rings that appeared on the scene. First, the Blue Lantern ring, for Hope. It was irrelevant. The Blue ring meant nothing and would not be acknowledged. It wasn't long after the arrival of Blue that another ring arrived on the scene, and this time, it mattered. The ring that arrived was, without a doubt, that of Hal Jordan. In a world so seemingly empty and unknown, the Green ring's appearance made it seem less so. The Star Sapphire ring reached out and called to the Green ring, summoning it up to where it was nestled. "Hal Jordan?" The question sounded in the ring-bearer's mind, an echo that lasted only a few seconds. "Come to me, my love."
"Save the sass for your mothers. Unlike them, I will hurt you."
"Lady, not where I'm from." Ms. Chievous muttered, bitterness seeping into her expression briefly as she remembered something more unpleasant than her failed romances, but it was gone as fast as blinking. The human was trying to make her feel inferior; but she merely tilted her chin up and stared back coolly. She looked like a child, yes, and by her people's standards, she was. But by human standards, she was older than all of them and the only children here were them. The blonde had to be what, in her twenties? Ten cycles younger than her at least. Human or not, acting like she knew everything with only twenty laps around earth's relatively newborn sun; that was what grated at her as well. "Do as you please. I'm definitely not going to stop you, heroes."
"And you may have our most humblest of gratitudes." She replied off-handedly.
"I'd suggest some precaution if you do go inside, you never know who may have been attracted when dealing with the lanterns."
Ms. Chievous rolled her eyes. "Oh boy. Lovely. I thought we could just waltz in and back right out unscathed, because gee a tower covered in malicious pink crystals, not dangerous in the slightest. But thanks for the warning. Very necessary." She agreed sagely and made to move towards the tower when they were joined by yet another person. It was starting to get cramped around here. She might as well escape towards the entrance on her own. ”Can’t we just do it together, hero or not? I mean, there’s power in numbers, and apparently none of us have any idea what’s going on... We’d be more efficient as a coordinated team than as a group of individuals.” Nope. No. No way in hell. The alpha Champion inside her snarled and hissed at the blonde like a cat faced with a tub of water. There was no way she could work with this person. Ever. Even if she was the last person on Earth. Ms. Chievous gave a brittle smile. "We'd rip each other to shreds before accomplish anything coordinated." She muttered under her breath, but glanced away without saying anything else in reply; as close to something like agreement they were going to get. The others seemed to be agreeing on teamwork; she did to, just not with some. Pack animals. She had been a part of a team once. No more. This was not a team. This was a convenient temporary hesitant alliance.
"It is time. Follow. Follow."
The voice was like a pink and violet bolt of lightning across her senses, making her flinch and then shudder. Images flashed past her eyes; Marcel's head rolling across the sandstone, Imran's face as she fell through the transporter; and she pressed her fingers to her eyes with a grimace to try and shove them back into the locked chest in the back of her mind that had been thrown wide open. Her heart was aching. Marcel's smile overlapping with Imran's. Long, warm fingers she wasn't quite sure who they belonged to. "Go. I'll find you." She grit her teeth, willing the wave to pass, and when it did, she straightened and there was a layer of hostility in her eyes that hadn't been there before, directed straight at the tower. When she got her hands on whatever was making her feel like this, she was going to rip it apart. Maybe. Probably. She would punch it first, 'cuz that would make her feel better.
"Bonjour, Ça va?"
"...Illen willing, more like, au revoir'ing the hell outta here. You guys really like moving in teams don't you. Doesn't it get suffocating?" She sighed, stuffing her hands into her pockets. It was getting way too crowded. "...Nevermind, don't answer that. And to answer your question, not good? Pretty sure telepathic crystals really aren't in our daily 'gosh I wish this would happen to me' list, to be honest. Unless it is, then hey, I'm not judging."
The Green Lantern looked towards the strange Rainbow Girl whom replied to him and gave a sort of half smile. She had a point. Heroes had been seeming to migrate together at every opportunity recently; maybe it was there novice-ness to the whole "the fate of the world is in your hands thing" may be they just wanted to be around people whom understood or could help. But even then Ian could understand the strange looking girl's point of view of how it could be suffocating and difficult to deal with. Being in a group of people was always hard because it clipped you of possible decisions; you couldn't go all out when you were surrounded by friends nor could you make questionable decisions because the surrounding heroes might judge you. The Rainbow Girls statement seemed to have had a profound effect on Ian and it made him think about the Justice League. How did they ever manage to keep it all together?
"Look,"The Green Lantern finally said, raising his ring hand up towards the strange girl with his palms showing"Whatever's going on here is bigger than us. We need to help these people as a team. I'm also a little concerned that it brought normal people here. Whatever's going on isn't good and we as heroes need to buck up and deal with whatever's up there."He still found it weird that such strong words and character were coming from him. Maybe the ring wasn't all bad.
But then the voices in his head started, his ring began to flash rapidly and Ian threw his hands on his head as memories that weren't his of a woman bombarded his mind. She was beautiful. Angry. Dangerous. The love of his life. Yet he'd never even seen her before."C-Carol?"The Green Lantern muttered under his breath.
Who the hell was Carol...?
