Train followed, each step harder and harder to make as the weight of the unknown filled his mind. Up the stairs and into the apartment he followed nonetheless, carrying the little newborn protectively as he walked. He was not used to apartments, or anything this big really. The farm was so open spaced, and this.. this was not. Still, it had a roof. That was a good sign he thought. He let the other cat walk to and fro, watching him come back with something new each time. When the items were gathered, he silently and carefully lined the basket with the blanket before placing the newborn inside. The unknown was still there, but... she was safe? She had to be safe. He could smell food coming closer, and he softly pawed at the basket.

"A-ah..! Food?" He whimpered, eyeing Aiden and the dish of food. He could almost taste it with his nose. He thought about shoving his face into the dish, but held himself back. "I.. .. Is tha t-hat for m-me?" He looked Aiden straight in the eyes, hoping. "B-but.." He suddenly frowned, looking at the basket again. She could not eat solid food, could she?
